I went ot Kenny Ross and they put back on my Hood Release plastic thingy. They had trouble doing it so they had to take the car back to the shop and disconnect the wire to do it. no wonder i couldn't put it on myself.
When my dad's hood release handle broke on his old truck and he found out how much they wanted for the new part, he used part of a coat hanger to form a loop to pull to pop the hood. They always want crazy amounts of money for replacement parts.
o they were just putting my same part back on. they had to put the wire into some slot on teh plastic thing and that is what the trouble was. so they disocnnected the wire thing so they had more than 2 inches to work with and then they were able to put it on.
it was no cost. but they said they will be sending me a survey and they'd appreciate it if i filled it out nicely. i will. i had no appointment and they even had to take my car in teh shop to fix it. also they were willing to fix it before evne asking if i bought the car there or new or anything.

ReplyDeleteah, that's not as bad as them having to replace it with a new part. Those parts cost so much.

ReplyDeleteKenny Ross is really good with fixing cars that you buy there. My family won't buy from anyone else.
