4.30

Cardigan: Kohl's - $12 (saw this same one on clearance there on 5/13 for 8)
Tank: not sure. It's brand is FANG. I did wear it in 2007 but not sure when I got it or for how much.
Jeans: Express
Shoes: Famous Footwear
Bracelet: Target
Necklace: Gifted
Poly found some sun and was sunbathing in it.
I made grilled ham and cheese for lunch. It was delicious.
I went for my first run since going to the doctors for my knee.
We did some grocery shopping and I saw this pie. We bought it. It was tasty. Peanut butter. I just wish there was more peanut butter and less chocolate drizzle on top.
We watched a movie about a horse. Poly enjoyed the horse. It was called Secretariat.  I very much enjoyed it.

  1. I always like that color on you (the sea foam green, I mean).

More Express jeans. How are they, size-wise (in terms of jean size accuracy, like that one post you made before comparing sizes between companies)?

I always get Secretariat and Seabiscuit confused.

  2. A 2 at Express is smaller than a 2 at Gap.

I noticed in the past 2 years their sizing changed some but I haven't made any purchases lately. My jeans are 0s from Express. Last year I fit into 00 so I refused to buy them saying I wasn't that thin....but now I got fatter so I'm glad I didn't buy them.

I think of all the places I have tried on stuff only H&M and F21 I wear a larger size than Express that fits. All other places the same size is too big.
I don't know the official word on the street about Express jeans though. I like Express because they carry longs. And they were the only ones that did in 9th grade so I have some sort of loyalty to them. I like VS Pants but they are hit or miss. Target and Old Navy are bigger or at least were the last I checked.

I used to like American Eagle for jeans but haven't gone in there in awhile.

  3. Also I thought this color was a sea foam green but was afraid to say that in the post because I wasn't sure if that was actually what the color was or if i made it up.

  4. Re: seafoamgreen
Well, it's either real or we both made it up.

I thought I remembered Express running big for the size it says it is. Because theirs and Old Navy's I can't wear. Old Navy is worse because they'll fit in places but then have, like, a huge waist that sticks way out in the back, and I think, "Who on Earth is shaped like this?"

I think I've bought exactly two things at the Gap, ever, and they were a pair of shorts and (ironically) a sea foam green tank top, purchased at the same time.

  5. You should try Forever 21 or H&M.
Or any place with European sizing.

I forgot to mention that NY&Co, Macy's, and JCP are all much larger than Express so I can't wear theirs.

I rarely shop at Gap but have a few times when shopping with others. Their smallest size used to be too big but now I'm fatter so they fit.
