Maternity Clothes

My friend Jen sent me some maternity clothes to borrow. (it was super nice of her!) I got more than I thought when I opened the box.
Here's what I got. Now I have so many things to wear that it'll take me longer to figure out what I should wear. Before it was taking me awhile because I had so few choices that I had to plan well like if something matched cobalt, I couldn't wear it with normal blue jeans or I might be out of luck later in the week.

The first collage has pictures taken by Dave. The second collage, has pictures taken by me.  Dave hasn't seen them all on me but just seeing the shirts he liked the polka dot one with the red band the best.

I don't really like how you can visibly see my belly button. Also I was too lazy to change my pants and I was already wearing cobalt pants for the day.

I have so many choices now! Opening this box was like Christmas. There were also 2 bonus onesies in there for the new baby!

  1. You are SO stinking cute!! In the first collage my favorite is the longer sleeved grayish top. In the second collage my favorite is the beige slouchy top on the upper right. But you look great and are really starting to show your bump! So adorable.

    1. In the top collage I think you mean the black and white print one. It's a very small print so tricky to tell. but I really like both black and white print tops. I do like the one in the upper right too... because i can also wear different tank tops under. nice.
But i'm also partial to the black Steeler top.

  2. If you want to cover your belly button, a band aid often works until it's too much of an outie. :)

    1. I think the flash or camera makes the belly button more noticeable. it's just a large circle but like not an outie. I think a bandaid not being smooth would be just as noticeable.

    2. Maybe. But it definitely will help when you have an outie if you want to cover it a little bit. I did that until my belly button stuck so far out that the band aid was definitely noticeable (and worse). This is an advantage to a winter baby though; sweaters seem to cover that up better haha.

    3. I've been paying attention daily and in person and in the mirror each time I use the restroom you can't see a belly button so I guess it was the camera trickery so far. But later it won't be.

    4. Ah, everybody's got a belly button, anyway. Except Adam and Eve, I guess.

  3. Aaa! I haven't blog-looked for awhile and it is crazy to see you look unmistakeably different from just your "Before and After Eating" pictures.

Also, I like that gray sweatery top.

    1. It's weird some people don't realize I'm pregnant.

    2. That is weird. How could they not tell that you're still skinny, but with an additional annex?

Upon closer examination, I guess that shirt is not a sweater.

    3. well off the top of my head I am not even sure which one is gray. If it's the 2nd pic near bottom I think it is a sweater but not a super thick one. But I can't remember if that was gray or some other neutral. my bedroom lighting is bad.
