Her arm is clearly not swaddled.
Ella made a new sound. It's so cute. Dave said hi to her and she made a noise similar to hi. Then he asked if she was trying to talk and when he said hi again she did it again. It's so cute to see her doing new things.

I've noticed recently that she cries differently but I haven't figured it all out yet. I even read about 6 different cries but still have trouble. But for the first three weeks or so I swear every cry was the same. Dave agrees they were the same too.
Her eyes followed the lights on her monkey bouncer for the first time.
She loves when I hold her like this or with her head a little higher. I might build up some arm muscle.  We were on our way to a photo shoot in the nursery and she fell asleep.
Since she wanted to sleep she did not cooperate for pictures. I got a few.
Then I put on the headband and she cried. Above is the best one I got.  You can view more if you want to see.
Too bad when I picked her up, I wasn't really in the view finder. I have a bunch of just my shoulder. She calmed right away and went to sleep.
I take so many pictures of her that I'm always getting auto awesome creations from google+.

  1. Awww love the headband (even though she doesn't!) lol. It's cute. She's adorable.

    1. it wasn't the headband she didn't like. it was the not swaddling her so she could nap part.
