November 1-15 Outfits

I got dressed way more times than this. I even left the house on many occasions but I'm slacking at taking pictures.

Too bad I didn't get a better picture of this shirt. You can see it other times.  It's not the best for nursing because of the belt. It just stayed on a couple hours when we left the house.

It's hard to see this picture. It's cropped way down. You can see that one other times, too.

I have this shirt in a ton of colors but most are scoop neck which don't work well so now I live in this. V-neck + nursing cami is the best. Scoop neck doesn't even work with any nursing bras because they stick out the top for some reason.

Well here are 3 "outfits" from 1 day. I wanted to take a picture with the hoodie on. Then it got hot so I wore shorts. I took like 30 pictures in the shorts and only 2 were in focus. Oops. These jeans look loose. :)

Again I forgot to take my daily picture. These are pictures that include me and have everyone else cropped out. They are even horrible pictures.  We did onesie painting and people were at my house until 5:30 PM.

I had Dave take my daily picture. Ella was there eating. I couldn't just crop her out!

I dressed Ella then I thought I could match her. I was going to wear a yellow top but then I decided coordinating yellow + white without us both being the same on top and bottom would be cooler. I'm loving it!  I just wish my tee was longer. You can see my cami many inches underneath it.
I attempted some shoulder pictures. It's hard to manage to take pictures with my remote and handle Ella. She also wanted the remote.

I wear this sweater all the time too. It's easy to nurse in because it's loose and has a low V-neck.   Pretty soon I won't be worrying about my attire for nursing.

  1. Are you planning on weaning Ella soon? I was just curious based on your last comment.

    1. Starting to at a year. But who knows. It's mainly Daves suggestion. I don't think she will cooperate.

    2. Good luck! That's a huge milestone making it to a year. Such a big accomplishment that often gets overlooked by so many. I'm always so proud of my mom friends who make it to a year.

    3. I feel like some people make comments about being done at a year with nursing like it's wrong to keep nursing. Then other people make the opposite comments and talk about how you should nurse longer. I feel so much pressure. I feel like I'm criticized no matter what. A main thing to try to wean is that I still can't leave Ella with Dave or she starts flipping out and wanting to nurse even if she just nursed so then he never wants to be with her and I never get to go anywhere or do anything or ever get a break whatsoever.

    4. Don't feel pressure. Just do what you want to. I know that's easier said than done. But as long as you're both happy there's certainly no reason to wean immediately at 1 year. On the flip side, if you do want to wean her it's your decision! I'm just proud you've made it this long. That's a great achievement.

  2. I agree with Julie, don't feel pressure either way. But you do have people who have been in either position you can ask for advice/help depending on what you personally want to do. BTW if anybody does ask, technically you started weaning when Ella started solids. ;) Because she wasn't dependent on just breast milk for nutrition.

I really like the coordinating outfits. Cute!

    1. Easier to say don't feel pressure than to not do it!

    2. And thanks. You should coordinate with Neil sometime!
