Hidden Villa (9.24.15)

Ella's preschool had a field trip to Hidden Villa.  It's pretty hidden. :) We met at 9.
It started off with standing in a big circle and hearing announcements and singing some farm songs.  Then we split into groups.
Luckily my group was some people I knew so I didn't feel bad taking a million pictures.
We saw the goats first. Ella was a little timid but she did pet a goat. Then later a goat turned right around and scared her. Then she didn't want to go near the animals.

Christina was taking some pictures with her telephoto lens and all of a sudden a goat got up in her way. Her facial expressions are priceless.

Then we were off to the chickens.  Ella would not pet a chicken. She was still a little afraid from the goat. I didn't get any good pictures of Ella at the chickens. I got a lot of her friends petting the chickens though.
We saw some pigs. Ella wouldn't pet one.  The pictures are outside. Inside a pig was lying against the fence so she could pet one if she wanted.

Then it was off to the sheep. Ella was so excited to go in. She also was "bah"ing at the sheep. But once she went in, she didn't want to pet the sheep. She eventually did but I didn't get a picture.
This is Ella's hand!

Then we saw some cows. Ella got to stand outside a fence so she liked that better.

We went to the garden and she got to eat a slice of fresh apple. She tried to get a 2nd slice and then I shared mine with her. She wanted 1 per hand.

The class ate snack together. She had fun and ate a little but then she wandered to other tables to get other food or to talk to older kids.

She was so tired she fell asleep on the way home. (Then she wouldn't take a real nap.)
