4.16

Shoes: Kohl's
Skirt: Express
Shirt: NY&Co
I thought this outfit looked a lot nicer than it appears in these photos.

I was so exhausted so my alarm was only first set for 6.55 instead of my normal 6:17.
Well I ended up hitting snooze for an hour. Poly was cuddled up with me. I didn't want to leave her.  When I finally woke up, she was really putting on her cute face so I ended up wasting time petting her and letting her use my hand as a pillow instead of getting ready for work.  I got to work at 8:40.  That was the latest I've gotten there in a long long time.

I was so busy at work. I finally finished and emailed out an agenda at 11:15 for a 12:00 meeting. That might not seem bad but I want to have the agenda emailed out the day before.

I was so busy that the day flew by.  I really need to put in a good extra 10 or 12 hours just to read my emails from Thursday and Friday when I was out. I didn't even get that far today.

I ran with Jen after work.  We went to the track to take it easy.  We walked 1 lap without our Garmin's on. Then we did a ladder sort of.  We did 1 lap running 100, walking 100. Then we ran 200, walked 200. Then we ran 400, walked 400. (3 times), run 200, walk 200,   then 1 lap of run 100, walk 100.  I was in lane 4 the entire time and I didn't stop the timer while walking to the car which is why the total distance was 2.67.  We did that at a pace of 12:02.
After the run I came home and ate dinner. I watched politics on TV until bed time.  I did do foam roller, core exercises, and stretch at one point. Dave fell asleep early on the couch.
Poly was definitely on her best behavior and in loving mode when we got home.  Too bad I couldn't telecommute. I felt bad ditching her all day while I was at work.

7.1 - Mostly Old

Pants: JCP (2005)
Shoes: Famous Footwear (2011)
Shirt: Kohl's (2000 or 2001)
Button-down shirt: NY&Co. (2008)
Necklace: Lia Sophia
The dress was the last of my 7 items for Styling the Scavenged Seven.  I completed 2 for 2 with a day to spare. I decided since I'm so behind on posting it is hard to properly document and discuss this challenge so I will be done with it. I may still pull some stuff out on my own to make sure I wear in the week, but I won't be documenting or saying which article of clothing it was that I picked.  Really I should try to get caught up. I'm 14 days behind + a few odd posts that aren't my daily posts.

I liked the shirts today. It was the first time I wore them together. I didn't like the pants. I like more form fitting pants.  The neckline on the purple shirt is really high. I never see anyone wear them that high. How wold you style it?  It is a tank top type thing but with 1 little strap that is like a string that connects the fabric for the front and back. You can tell on the Styling the Scavenged Seven link.
Dave and I went to Jersey Mikes for lunch. I had leftovers and ended up leaving them in the wrong fridge. Then for dinner we went to Bravo.
I'm so behind on posting that I don't remember working out but it sure looks like I'm wearing workout clothes so I must have done something.

4.21.11

Shoes: The Shoe Dept. (2005 - $20)
Skirt: Express (2010 - $17)
Shirt: NY&Co (2008 - ~$20)
Vest: Express (2010 - $7)
Necklace: Charlotte Russe (Spring 2009 - $6)
Earrings: Target (2011 - <$3)

It is getting hard to memorize when and for how much I got all my clothes.  Some I remember, some I don't.

I branched out and wore this vest with something other than my white button down shirt. I knew when I bought the vest that I wished it was longer and I still wish that.  I wish it was at least one inch longer. I believe I last wore this was June 14, 2010.  I'm not sure if I should keep it or get rid of it. My closet is jam packed with clothes I don't really like. What do you think of it?  How would you style it?

My arms are too large for these sleeves. The left arm buttons were undone at the start of the day. I undid the right arm buttons before 9:00AM. It makes the shirt so much nicer. It seems crazy to me that the rest of the shirt fits (too big in the waist even) but my arms don't fit in the sleeves.
After the gym, I noticed a BIG runner in my pantyhose. I got out my nail polish to stop it from running. It made it a little past my knee. Only a few inches could be seen while standing so I didn't bother changing into my backup pair.  I pulled my skirt back for the picture; it was not that short while sitting.

I went to the gym at lunch. I finally made it to a yoga class! I then lifted weights for my lower body after. It felt great to finally get a workout in. I didn't do anything hardcore because of my knee.  I really liked yoga class. It was the first time I had Kelly teaching it. She doesn't usually but she was filling in for someone. I loved it. She didn't do a million updog or downdogs so then a lot of other nice stuff fit in.
I stayed at work later than I wanted to. I kept getting distracted with work. Then I picked up On the Border for dinner. We ate while watching TV. Then we watched TV. Then it was time for bed.
I lead such an eventful life don't I?
