Cardigan and Shoes: Kohl's
Dress: Dress Barn (I think. This is my newest dress and I am not even sure it was there. It was at Pittsburgh Mills Mall)
I got to work early.
I went to Aviva for lunch and got a meatball panini.
I went back to work. I got stuck at work. Dave wanted to go for a walk but I just couldn't get out of work. Then finally I left work. I got home and ate leftover meatball panini. I ate it cold dipped in sauce. I don't dip things in sauce ever. I ate meatballs for the first time a month or so ago at Aviva. Then I sat on the chair to finish watching the show we started while eating dinner. I mostly fell asleep.
I called my mom after it was over. We talked for awhile.
We could near the neighbors base. Dave wanted to go sit on the patio and watch them. So we did. We heard Erica yelling at Chris about watering. It was funny. The yelling was right before I got outside but Dave was already out there. It was a beautiful temperature so I suggested going for a ride. Then we went for a ride and to Target. I finally bought the heel liners so my foot can stop flopping out of my new purple shoes.
Then I went to watch Rachel Maddow and fell asleep.

3.20
It has been awhile since I wore this dress so I figured it was time to wear it again. I feel like my outfit was all new except the shoes but when I thought about it, I guess it's a lot older than I thought.
I worked. I was so busy at one point I caught myself banging my head off my desk. I'm not quite sure how that happened but I swear work is going to give me a heart attack before I'm 30. I just have far too much to get done and then far too many meetings so then I don't have any time to get any of it done.
After work I went to a WIN scrapbooking event. I only took some supplies and I talked to some people and left early. I had to get home to plan my Stampin' Up Class.
Well I got home and made dinner and watched some TV. I did finally get to planning and ended up deciding to quit doing that at 11PM. I thought about booting up my work computer to do work at that point but decided against it. Sometimes the computer takes 30 minutes to get ready to be able to do work and by that point it would be bedtime. I was already falling asleep.
Poly watched me take my daily picture out the window. Then when I came back in she moved to watch me again. I followed the other malibu maxx down 228 again. We are always just a few cars apart. I am always shocked by this since I leave home for work at different times.

Cardigan: Kohl's
Dress: Athleta
Shoes: Macy's
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
This dress shrunk 1-2 inches the first time I washed it. I wish it was a little longer.
Dave and I went to Panera for lunch. I got soup and a bagel.
I had ice cream as a snack after dinner. Before bed I realized the lid was on the counter. Well when throwing it away, I made a big mess. Some of the frost in the lid melted. It went all over the place.
I finally did some stuff with getting my files back that were on my computer before I reimaged it. Not everything went as smoothly as planned.

8.1 - Peanut Butter Pie
Cardigan and dress: Express, shoes: Famous Footwear-Connie, Necklace: Charlotte Russe
I have a love hate relationship with this dress. I wish it had a slightly different fit but I am not sure what exactly. I like the fabric.
Dave and I walked at lunch.
We had chicken and corn for dinner. We ate some of the peanut butter pie. The filling and the crust was good. The whipped topping was no good. I still want peanut butter pie like the kind I've had before.

7.29 - Pants
shirt: F21, cardigan: Kohl's, pants: VS, shos: Kohl's, necklace: Sears
These are the pants that I haven't been able to wear recently. I mean they still didn't fit the best but it was better than normal. These pants I wore easily pre-knee surgery and now the button and button hole aren't near each other without some effort. At least with effort they finally got buttoned and I could sit in them without pain. I still have more pants that do not fit. I need to buy new pants. I can't believe how so many pairs of my pants don't fit any more. The last time my pants didn't fit me and I had to buy new was in December 2002. There may have been other times in my life but I had looser clothes or just pants in many different sizes. I can run further than I could back then. I just haven't been eating well or lifting weights or running as often as I want. Maybe one of these days I'll either fit into older pants or buy new ones. I am disappointed that my red pants do not fit. Two or three weeks ago I was about to order new VS pants and didn't. Maybe I should do that now. So it probably isn't normal to put a picture of pants that don't fit or gut bulging over pants on my blog but nobody said I am normal.
This is probably why my pants don't fit.... chips with dip.

6.28 - Cabana Bar
Skirt: Express
Tank: Old Navy
Cardigan: Kohl's
Shoes: Kohl's
Necklace: Lia Sophia
My fake tan is all messed up due to working out an sweating. It looks like I have sock lines. Almost makes the tan seem more real. The tan shows up darker in the pictures than it was in real life. Tanning is an art.
I wanted to wear my gray pants, but I put them on and they were too tight. So I wore my gray skirt. I mean the pants would have fit if I didn't have to sit down. But they were uncomfortable sitting. Those pants were pants I owned pre-knee surgery time when I was at my heaviest. (Uh Oh) But back then I was guttier than I am now. And back then I had a nonexistent butt. Just look at that side profile shot. I have quite the butt now. (I'm not saying that's bad. It is different. I think it is a reason pants are tighter now. At least my mom can't tell me my gut is as big as my butt. She told me that once in 2006 when she was looking at a picture of me standing in line waiting to ride the Musik Express at Kennywood.)
After work I was going to dinner at Atria's and the Cabana Bar with an out of town NA-YGN member. He said to get some friends together. I tapped out all my resources and only got 1 friend to go to dinner and a different friend to go to the bar. Everyone was busy and I don't have many friends. We were at the bar until 11:30. I can't believe how old I am. The bar was nice. It had sand. There were different areas and different fire pits. It wasn't crowded. It wasn't loud. I wore sandals to work because I knew about the sand. The last time I was there was 3+ years earlier so I didn't remember much about it besides the sand. I was looking up directions on how to get there and realized it is right up the hill from the one plaza we always go to (Giant Eagle, Yum, Campesino's). Last time I was there all I knew was you turn left at a Sheetz. I think it was a good time. Lots of talking.

6.25 - Poly
I didn't put music to the photo montage because the last few times I have then it won't create and just stays in draft mode in my picasa.
I spent the first part of the day reading about running. Then when I finally went running, it was hot. I didn't like it. I only did 2.5 miles. Then I went shopping for some books with Dave. We came home and rested on the bed. Then fell asleep. I even had on my shoes. Poly slept on me for 2 hours. I was awake for 30 minutes at the end but didn't want to disturb her. This nap messed up my plans.
Overall it was a nice Saturday. It wasn't stressful. I didn't get much done. Sometimes that is good.

These pants used to be too big. I even kept them in another closet. They fit now. The only trouble is the rise is a little too low so I need a belt and still sometimes I'm afraid I'll end up mooning someone if I have to bend over. I just have to choose a shirt wisely.

5.6
Dress and Cardigan: Kohl's
Shoes: Famous Footwear (they weren't even on clearance)
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
Purse: Target
I had Dave take my picture at lunch because I went to PT before work so I got dressed at PT. I forgot my slip. Sad times. And after work was hitting the gym so I needed to get an outfit photo.
I wore this necklace with this dress because Kimberly told me they went. Also she told me the necklace would go with hot pick. Well I did them both in one outfit. I wasn't wearing the necklace with many things before because I didn't know what it matched and only went by what my color wheel told me.
I have had these shoes for a few weeks but this was the first time I wore them. The toe box was a little tight but it probably has to be so your foot doesn't slide too far down the toe hole. I thought they were sufficient. Late in the day, I realized my left big toe had some skin scraped away. I guess they weren't as good as I thought.
They wind made my picture not as cool. Sometimes wind can enhance pictures but here it made them worse.
That cube wall in the very edge of the window shown is my cube wall.
I got back to my desk and after a minute I hear over the cube wall "Colleen, did I see you getting your picture taken outside." Oh no I was busted. There was a short conversation where I was asked why I was getting my picture taken and I responded about my calendar site. Then I sent him the link. A different coworker came over to talk about work related things so we stopped talking. After I got back to my desk he made 2 observations. He said I wear a lot of red (which I often talk about on my blog and why I started my color rotation challenge) and he said I didn't wear yellow much (which I realized during the challenge). Then I walked over to his cube and we scrolled through 3 years worth of pictures. He told me I should themes and challenges (he didn't call them challenges but what he described were challenges). It was fascinating... a little weird, but fascinating. Has anyone caught you taking your picture and then asked you about it?
Before PT, I had some time to kill since I didn't wake up early enough to make it to work, so I went on my computer to write a blog post. Well Poly jumped at the opportunity and got on my lap. I petted her for awhile once I was ready to get up, but then it was really time to go. I even tried to tilt Poly off of me so she would think it was her idea to get up. She did not go for it. She managed to get situated and still stay on me when I had her tilted at a 45 degree angle. I actually had to lift her off and put her down. Sad times. I never move her or make her get off of me.Once I got home from work I should have packed, but I just grabbed a few things and the suitcase. Poly sure didn't want me to pack by evidence of her sitting in my suitcase.
My regular camera was downstairs so I had to use my iphone to take her picture. I quit early on packing and went downstairs to watch TV. I came up after a few shows to pack with only a little bit of time before bed. I thought packing can't be that hard.
I closed the suitcase while I picked everything out and Poly sat on that. She really wanted to impact my packing ability. I packed extra because I talked to Nicole and she was packing a lot. I did put some stuff back that I had out. (Later I learned I shouldn't have put that back. I forgot that I was accounting for three outfits on certain days.) I was packing jewelry and realized a year ago was the last time I packed and I really only wore 1 or 2 necklaces so packing was easy. Now I have a ton to pick from.
I was almost done packing but needed something out of my bookshelf. I opened the door and Poly went right in there. Then she thought she was trapped. I opened the left door for her and then she left.

January 5 - Wednesday
Cami: Express (~$20 - 2009)
Cardigan: NY&Co. (19.84 - 11/7/10)
Skirt: F21 ($14.80 - 12/26/10)
Shoes: Famous Footwear (19.99 - 9/4/10)
Tights: Target ($10 at most - 2010)
Necklace: Lia Sophia (28 I think... I got it half off. 11/19/10)
The jewelry is the only reason this outfit is over $100... not too shabby.
If I really thought about it, I could figure out what day I bought the cami exactly. I'm pretty impressed.
What worked: wearing a slip. The skirt didn't bunch up at all like some other F21 skirts I had when I didn't wear a slip and I didn't want to take any chances. It's a good length. Also, it's a print. I need more prints. I wear solids way too much.
The close-up picture of the shoes shows how my ankles lean to the inside of my foot....toward my flat feet. I wonder if it is noticeable when I wear heels.
I shortened the necklace with a safety pin. I wish the necklaces from Lia Sophia had 16" as their shortest instead of 19" so I wouldn't have to improvise.
I finally slept the previous night. Finally... I was excited. Then I slept in on purpose. If I could get good sleep, I would take advantage of it.
Poly was sleeping under her bag because she went in from the side. Dave decided to go help her get in the bag. At first she was distraught because he took her bag.
Have you ever purchased a Christmas gift that anyone loved as much as my cat loves her bag that my brother got her for Christmas?
