Poly wanted in my daily picture and this is the process of that happening.

I worked. I went to the gym with Dave. I ran and did weights.   After work Dave and Poly fell asleep.

Instagram is a great program. I rarely use it though.  Do you use it?  What is your favorite app?  Do you use at picture apps?

I have on a cami bra so when this sweater stretches throughout the day, I have a lace cami showing instead of showing skin. But then the light color under the sweater isn't so nice in the harsh flash of morning. It was daylight. It really was.

Today Dave told me I was dressed like a hussy. A guy said hi and asked me how I was even though he did not do this to the guy in front of me. Someone told me to have a good day even though they did not say this to the person in front of me or behind me.
A guy in the parking lot at Buffalo Wild Wings shouted across the lot at me that it's too cold to wear a skirt like this (btw it is 60 degrees)

I had a super busy day at work.  Dave and I went to Moe's for lunch.
We went to the gym after work. I showed him some lifting equipment after we used the elliptical. We started on the treadmill but I was running with a limp so I ran for .5.
Then I was off to happy hour for NA-YGN. I was an hour late but I did stay until 8:30 instead of 7pm. I was with the last group of people there.

I came home and Poly sure loved me. She kept purring and hanging out. I think she knows I'm ditching her for the weekend. I curled my hair to save time in the morning. A first attempt at the night time curling just to see how it works. Throughout the night she either slept on me or Dave. She moved immediately from one of us to the other. Usually she goes under the bed if one of us turns so she gets off of us.

7.22 - Park Ranger Chic

It was so hot outside that as soon as I got out there to take my daily picture the lens fogged up.  Then I had to take them inside.  After I was ready to go I saw a necklace on the table and it seemed like it matched so I put it on.

I thought my outfit was not just park ranger but park ranger chic because I wore a skirt this time.  Then later Dave said I looked like park ranger hooker. I wonder what coworkers thought.

I had to go to work on my day off because of the audit.  I got home around 4:30. Seconds after getting home, the power went out. The neighbors got home a second after me. We both got in our garages but then the power went out before we got to close the garage doors. Talk about timing. Well it was 99 degrees out and felt like 105 so we weren't staying home.  I was already hungry for dinner. Dave was not because we had a late lunch.  We headed to Home Depot and then to the mall.  Dave bought a new macbook air (13" that just came out) so then I got his old 11" macbook air.

We also went to California Pizza for Dinner. It was very good. I kept reaching across the table and getting a bite of Dave's. He took a piece of my pizza too.  Then we headed to Lowe's.  We killed even more time because our neighbor told us the power was still out. We stopped at Sonic to get ice cream.  We got home shortly after the power went out. It was out a bit over 3 hours.

This outfit is very, very similar to a previous outfit but I did not plan it to be that way. I was going to wear pantyhose instead of tights. The shoes would have been different than last time too.
Well I put on the pantyhose only to notice a big runner down the leg. I then opened my tights / pantyhose drawer and there were no pantyhose in there. I used to have 4-5 pairs. A few got runners and the rest must have been in the wash.  Well then I remembered I had green tights. And since it is St. Patrick's Day, I figured all the green was more than allowed but was encouraged.

I'm not sure what I think about bone shoes with green tights with this outfit.  I have wanted shoes like this for so long but now I don't know how to wear them.

The skirt kept getting higher and higher all the time. If I pulled it down it was 1 inch above my knee. I am not sure why it kept riding up. Maybe I'm getting fatter, maybe it's the fact that I wore a different slip, maybe it's a sweater over it, or maybe it is something else. I don't really care why but I want it to stop.

This skirt is also the skirt that sometimes looks tan, sometimes gray, sometimes brownish, sometimes khaki, sometimes greenish. Well usually I pretend it is a shade of brown. Today I pretended it was gray. There were times I thought for sure it was gray so I picked good but then I see these pictures and it looks totally different.   Do you have anything that looks one color sometimes and another color a different time?   How do you decide which color it really is and how to match things to it?

At our group meeting today, my manager started talking about a service award. I kept wondering who it was for. Next thing I know it was for me. I've been there for 5 years. I didn't think it was me because I didn't think they did anything for 5 years.  I got a certificate and a letter from the CEO.  That was pretty much the only thing that wasn't awful all day.

Near the end of work, I left to go to dinner with Dave. We went to Olive Garden. Then I came back to work and worked far too long. I did not get my run in. I am already beating myself up over skipping 2 runs in a row. The weather was great today too.   I was going to come back from OG and run but I ate so much I felt like I wanted to throw up. I mean I still kind of feel like I'm going to throw up. I always eat too much there.

I was originally going to go run at lunch but Dave guilted me saying that we go out to lunch the last day of the week. Ugh. It makes me so mad. So I go to lunch but then I'm mad I'm not running. And I'm super busy at work and don't get the 3 million things done that I'm trying to work on. I also don't even start some of the things that I wanted to work on.

This was actually Poly last night. She was being very annoying. First it was fetch. Then it was get in the way of my keyboard. Then it was attack my hoodie strings.  Eeep she knows I'm complaining about her so she stopped sleeping on the floor and sat up and is staring at me.

Day 21: February 24

I think pantyhose would have been better for this outfit or maybe to have a darker blue necklace.

What would you have done to improve this outfit?


This is the outfit that I picked out in the dark that I tweeted about.  I ended up not going to the gym because if I was to run a 10 mile race on the weekend I should have 2 rest days plus I shouldn't lift for the first time in 10 days or I would be sore.

All of my pictures turned out like crap. Look at the picture above and see how the camera focused on the house across the street and how I'm all blurry.  This is why sometimes a remote is not the best thing.  My remote will focus but when you hit the button, it focuses on whatever it feels like.

My day at work was spent mainly dealing with computer problems.  When I finally left work, I picked up Pizza Hut on the way home.

I was hungry and kind of ate some on the way home. I love this new dippers pizza (or whatever it is called. I couldn't even find it on Pizza Hut site just now.) Who knew knew if you removed all sauce from pizza that it would make it wonderful. I did not use any of those cups of sauce.

I didn't actually leave work until 7:30 so by the time I ate it was practically bedtime. I did watch some TV though.

February 11 - Outfits 10 and 11 - Pittsburgh YGN Skate Party

I was very impressed with my outfit. It was the first time I tried the belted sweater.  I also consulted my color wheel. I almost wore my Navy tights with my green shirt and wasn't sure about it. I went to the color wheel and would you look at that. Plus the necklace is the Sage Shadow color (plus another color but we will ignore that.) (I consulted the old color coach because my new one is still downstairs from the Stampin' Up Class I had on Monday.)

I also bought Maroon and Navy Blue tights.

I get to work thinking how I'm going to get such a great workout in after work. Then I realized I was wrong because it was the NA-YGN Skate Party. I didn't have a change of clothes either. Oi. Then I thought about it and thought that I also wore this sweater to the skate party last year. Now I know nobody would remember, but I did wear it.  Then I proceeded to tell everyone all day about how I wore this to the skate party last year.  Then I looked it up and I also wore it to the BFKS event for NA-YGN last year.  In addition to all that, I went about 10 months without wearing this sweater at all.

Well the car is in so we can pick it up... aka buy it.  This also puts a damper on my plans. We also need the title from home. We can't get it on Saturday because of the car show.
So at lunch we go home, get the title, and get me some jeans and shoes to change into. I was rushed so I didn't grab a different shirt. We went to Pizza Hut buffet on our way back to work.

We quickly go to pick up the car but you can't buy a car and trade in your old one quickly.
A few notes on the car:

• It is a Ford Flex
• It is ugly
• It is some shade of red with a white roof
• It has a lot of fancy upgrades
• We had to settle with ugly to get a car with enough head room for my husband. 
• My husband made a spreadsheet with head room and other features on a ton of cars. Ford has the best head room.
• Westinghouse employees get a good discount at Ford and we didn't even know this at first.
• Leather interior
• Navigation
• Cooler in the middle row console
• Seats 6
• The headlights are so very bright.

Then we were off to the skate party. Dave was actually going to go. He did not plan to go but decided that he might go when we were at lunch.

I wish I had my better lens to get pictures while people were skating. They are mostly blurry or weird, that's why I put them into a collage.
At least the weather was a lot nicer this year than last year.

January 27 - Ugh

I have on a lace cami under the sweater because I remember how it stretches down as the day goes on and I didn't want to be giving anyone a show by the end of the day.

What didn't work: wearing this skirt while wearing a coat and a backpack. With each step, the skirt was getting higher and higher. Good thing my skirt went to my knees but still it didn't fully close in the front so I had to be careful.

What else didn't work was that this skirt looks a different color based on the lighting and that kind of freaks me out. It is a tan/taupe, or it is a gray, but then today it was also a khaki green in some lighting.  I never know how to wear this thing. I thought I knew because Brie told me, but now I'm all afraid again.

Today was an awful day at work. My computer seemed to hate me. My meetings were spread out but not spread out enough to get anything done in the middle. I didn't get to run. I didn't go to yoga. I went to Body Pump but now my lower back hurts.

I didn't even take a single picture of Poly today. That is sad.  I did watch American Idol while Poly was napping on my lap. I also watched Criminal Minds but while watching that, she was sleeping on Dave.  Either she didn't like me so she left or she didn't want to play favorites so she snuggled with both of us.

I feel like there is more to say, but I can't figure out what.

Brie came over and remixed my closet to show me new outfits to wear since I'm in a rut of the same stuff and I say I can't match.  We worked with things that I only wear a couple things with.    She came and did this on January 16 instead of us going for our walk.

Tonight I got some stuff out and took more pictures so I can easily scroll through my album and see the outfits. Some pictures showed 3 tops and 3 bottoms and that left too much to my imagination and I couldn't just pick the outfit from the picture and then file the picture.

This skirt gives me lots of trouble. I always swear I can't match it. I did wear it twice.  Sometimes it looks more gray and sometimes it looks more brown. Therefore, I was confused.

I wore this skirt today because after getting shirts out individually, I couldn't believe how it matches so many things.  It is definitely going in my 30 for 30 to force myself to actually wear it.  I just need to figure out what else to include now. I really wish I had nude shoes. I'm still wanting them badly. Why can't I ever find them in a store around here?

Here's how I wore it before... only twice in about 11 months.

March 10 and April 22. I wore the blue sweater because Brie told me that color would go when I bought it. I wore the green because I think I emailed her and she told me another color that would go.

Don't you all wish you had a friend like Brie to come over and help?  There are people that actually do this for their job and charge for it.
