July 1-15 Outfits

I did wear other clothes on the 12th but no pictures. I left the house many times but no pictures.
7/13
I took these on my iphone. They don't look that good but at least you can sort of see what I'm wearing.
7/15
I took the one on the let and Dave took the one on the right. Ella picked out my shirt.
I keep getting bummed that I do not take daily pictures. I'm slacking off after 10 years of this! I miss my calendar site so so so so bad.

May 16-30 Outfits

5/16/15
This was my favorite shirt for a few years. I haven't worn it in ages.
5/17/15
In addition to the purple shirt this was my other favorite shirt!
5/18/15
It was chilly so I actually wore a sweater.
5/1815
5/21/15
My new maxi dress. Too bad my only white shirt is big so it just makes me look bigger.
5/23/15
I tried to take a lot of pictures with Ella. It's so hard to get the camera to focus when I don't have my remote. Boy do I miss being able to use a remote.
5/24/15
This is my go to outfit lately so that I have a cardigan but it's only 3/4 sleeves.
5/28/15
My new dress but such awful pictures.
5/30/15
I'm trying to wear more people clothes. The nursing tanks are really convenient though so I still wear them sometimes.

4.4

Shirt: Loft (still one of my favorites after 4 years), Jeans: JCP, Shoes: Famous Footwear, Necklace & Earrings: Lia Sophia, Purse: Target
Because I stayed up until 7 AM, I slept until 11:30. The computer was still broken for playing mythTV.  It reboots automatically at 3 AM but I have learned from experience that if I'm watching TV at that time then it stays broken until Dave fixes things.

I went somewhere. I only know this because I took my picture walking down the apartment steps just in case I forgot to take my daily picture. It's amazing how even after a day I totally forget what I did.
Since I couldn't continue watching Smash, I went into the office and watched Hack while updating different files on my computer.

Dave had a work dinner so I made a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich for dinner. I also got to watch a lot more TV without getting yelled at since he wasn't home.  I thought we'd go to the gym after he got home, but he got home after 8 and I didn't feel like it anymore.

3.25

Jeans: Express, Shirt: Loft, Necklace and Earrings: Lia Sophia, Purse: Target, Jacket: NY&Co
I was up early but watched TV.
I didn't do my long run on the weekend so finally around 2 PM I set out to actually run the long run. I ran from my apartment to Steven's Creek Trail. Normally I would drive there and run on the trail. Over halfway done, I took out my phone to take a picture.   I actually completed my run. I was very impressed with myself.

After the run I had about an hour before I had to leave to meet Kylie. She went to my high school but I didn't really know her. My elementary school teachers suggested I contact her so I did and finally she got back to me and we planned to meet.  We met at Stanford Dish Trail. Man that 3 mile loop was hilly. I was out of breath from walking. We did keep a 17 minute pace though. I hadn't realized we were going so fast. I had my Garmin in my purse so I wasn't checking it as we went.  Then we went out to dinner.
I didn't realize until it was too late but the pizza place had the sauce on top of the cheese. I could barely handle all the cheese.  We talked for awhile. The pizza took forever.  I brought home a piece for Dave. I took a picture of that. He liked it.  We watched some TV together.

12.10.12

I feel like the coloring in all these pictures is off. I had to really think about it to figure out what shirt that is. The skirt is a little big. I need to alter it. I bought a Large for length and so I could wear it on my hips.  This entire outfit (counting jacket) cost me $100.80. It is so weird to not wear tights around here. Some days it is chilly for a skirt so maybe I will dig out my tights so I get to wear them.
The rest of the day was standard. So standard nothing stands out.
Notice Poly's paw reaching from under the monitor. I was taking a picture of that and only after realize how it is almost an extension of the picture that is on my screen. Weird.
Poly likes to sleep on the cable box and on our router. The router is what she is sleeping on behind my monitor.

10.20

Shirt: Loft, Jeans: F21, Shoes: Macy's, Necklace: Lia Sophia
The coloring is weird in the hallway so when I used "I'm Feeling Lucky" in picasa to fix the orange walls, my jeans look way darker than they were.  Also with whatever settings I was using on my camera, I needed up making my face look extra light. Oh well. I should walk down 3 flights of stairs and go outside one of these days.
We went to BJ's for a late lunch. I love their pizza. I didn't like their meatballs as much this time. They also came so late. Dave ate his entire salad and I still didn't get my meatballs. Then I got them and didn't even eat one before the pizza came. Once the delicious pizza showed up, I didn't even want the meatballs.  They changed how they server their pizza. They used to serve it in the pan but now they serve it on a plate.  They also have a new hand tossed pizza but we love the pan so much we won't be trying anything new.

(The gut picture is of my gut after eating.)
I probably watched TV the rest of the day but I can't remember.

8.24

Shirt: Loft (February 2009), Necklace: Lia Sophia, Pants: VS (January 2009), Shoes: Famous Footwear

Shirt: F21 (2012), Necklace: Lia Sophia, Jeans: Express (2006)

I hit snooze a bit.  I interviewed.  I read some Big Brother updates.   I ran (a long run).
Dave and I went to PF Chang's for dinner.  He always wants to share my spicy chicken but I never want what he wants so then I just get less dinner.  I was starving too.

I got back and was basically ready for bed but used the computer a little bit.
Man did that run make me so tired.

8.14 - Monochromatic

Skirt: Athleta (purchased the long version and wish I hadn't), Shirt: Loft, Necklace: F21, Sandals: Target

Before I went to sleep, I checked out EBEW and realized that it was the day to upload something. What were the chances.  So I saw the theme and went to sleep.  Then I woke up and knew I had to get dressed to fit the theme.  This is what I chose.  I would have never put them together if it weren't for EBEW.
I decided to try to take some pictures outside.  I tried my balcony but those failed. So I went outside. All the good shade spots were taken by the contractors so I walked to another spot. I saw a ton of people while I was out.  My remote only works 10% of the time.   It was just all around awfulness when trying to get the pictures.  I still got a few but I took 10x more than I normally take when I'm trying to take a ton and lately I've been taking 2 since I'm not showing off a fancy outfit.

Daily Details:
I woke up. I read some SQL. I read some facebook. I read some emails.  I wasn't that nervous.

I had my interview.

I had a frozen dinner for lunch and watched some TV.  Then I went to take the pictures above.

I went to Target then Safeway.  I had a weird encounter walking into Safeway. I'm walking to the entrance from my car and a guy in an SUV stops and yells "my GOD you are beautiful" and then apologizes for scaring me. Then talks more. He said "I know you aren't from around here. Where are you originally from?" (I want to know how he knew I wasn't from around here.) He asked where I worked. I said I was looking for a job. He asked what kind of work I do. He asked if I found a nice place to live. And I'm pretty sure he asked a lot of other questions to which I'd just shrug. His name is Tom.

As soon as I got in Safeway, I decided to email that story to Dave. Then after that I am walking and just pulling out my list and an employee goes way out of his way to ask if I need help finding anything.  Then he said if I ever need help to let him know.

I was carrying 4 big canvas bags food of groceries and decide to check the mail. We have tons of mail + 2 packages. That was fun to carry up. I wish someone could have gotten a picture of it.  I used my face to hold the top of the package.

I picked Dave up at work. We went to Carl Jr's for a pre-dinner. Then we went to Bay Trail so Dave could take some pictures of me running.  The sun was awful so we didn't get that many.  I'm having to change the curves in Photoshop to make it so my legs are insanely pale with the sun reflecting off of them.

I then spent 3 hours editing them and messing around in photoshop. I put a few online.

8.4 - Day[9]

Sandals: Famous Footwear - R2 ($20 on sale but I only wear them with pants because the laces are a bit annoying)
Shirt: Loft (2009)
Jeans: Indi - Custom Fit (Purchased with a groupon)
Belt: F21 (probably the first time I wore it but purchased in 2011)
Necklace and Earrings: Lia Sophia
Notice Poly in the window looking at me take my picture.  I had a lot of trouble getting the pictures right. The remote wouldn't work right. Then sometimes it would. Then it stopped. Then I'd go back inside and realize I cut my feet off in the pictures so I'd go repeat the ordeal... This happened 3 times.

I haven't worn these pants in forever. I thought they'd be too big. I was wrong. They are a tad long so I have to wear them with a heel which is why I hadn't worn them in awhile.
My day started off a bit unusual. Dave turned on Day[9] Daily #100 and it was so captivating that I basically watched all 2 hours of it without even doing anything else.  To me Day[9] doesn't even look like a nerd but Dave tells me that is because I hang out with nerds too much. I tend to like Funday Monday when Dave has those on. I can't help myself but watch. I love his stories.  Now I don't play Starcraft at all but he almost makes me want to play.

Also note what Dave printed out so he can hold up.  He likes to say things to make me mad and now when I turn around after he made me mad, I see this! (Know your meme: Trollface)

When Day[9] was over I realized I was hungry. It was noon. I tell Dave I'm hungry and ask where he wants to go. Then he asks me where I want to go. He gave me options
At first he asked if I wanted to go really far. That didn't sound fun. Then he added, "Do you want to go close like the kitchen, far like Baja Fresh, or really far like In N Out?" To put this all into perspective Baja Fresh is .1 miles away according to google maps and In N Out is .8 miles away. I'm really liking his definitions.

By 2 PM we finally left the house and we ended up at In N Out. I didn't even get fries this time.  Then we went to JCP to return Dave's shirts since I had found the receipt.  We headed to another mall after just for fun. Traffic was so bad. The parking lot was a mad house. Stores were too packed.  So we ended up just walking around. We did get 45 minutes worth of a walk in.
We got home. Dave went to read. I wanted to nap but checked my email then went in to nap and see Dave sleeping.  We wake up roughly 3 hours later. Since it was 8:30 PM we decided to order a pizza.

We watched 1 episode of TV then I figured I better do something on my to-do list or else my graph for that will look really bad.  I went through my 2 nightstand drawers. I found Dave's RPI diploma. It has been missing for ages.  I did a few other things.  I did some blogging. I did some going through emails. I actually read some blogs. I feel like in my jobless state I read blogs less than I did before. I also feel like I watch TV less which is very weird.  I sit at a computer all almost all day but don't have a TV on or any music or anything.

I ended up staying up until 4am. I wasn't tired at all. The 3 hour  nap ruined me.

7.1

Shorts: AE Outfitters (June 18, 2012 - $15)
Shirt: Loft (February 28, 2009... ~$20)
Shoes: Sperry from Famous Footwear (May 2012 - $54 I think)

I wish these shorts were an inch longer. I make do though.
This was the calm before the storm.  The last day at temporary housing.

I had perfect timing. I finished blogging my already cropped pictures so it was good timing for our household goods to arrive. Granted I would have liked to still have posts to do before the move but it was better that I didn't run out.
We went to the Sunnyvale library and it was so busy.  The pictures don't do it justice. I was shocked at how full the parking lot was.  Dave was looking for SQL books and they didn't have what he wanted.

6.19

Outfit 1: Loft, AE Outfitters, Famous Footwear
Outfit 2: Bikini from H&M, Target
Outfit 3:  F21, Kohl's, Express, Famous Footwear
I woke up around 7:30.  Poly was hogging the bed.  She went to sleep when I did and stayed in that spot all night.

My allergies were so bad. I was miserable and didn't want to do anything. I stayed in bed for ages.  Around 10, I convinced Dave to go buy me allergy medicine. He did that and bought me a bagel. Once the medicine kicked in, I took a nap. I woke up at 1 PM and we headed to lunch.

Dave wanted to go to Mexican but after the other mexican place that upset my stomach, I don't want Mexican for awhile.  We went to In-N-Out Burger. We came home and were going to immediately go to the gym.  That didn't happen. 2 hours later we headed to the gym. We wandered around and couldn't find it. We asked someone from the Leasing office and they showed us.

I did 5 minutes on the bike for warmup and then did weights. Dave did 16 (or maybe 18) minutes on the elliptical and then did weights.   After that we changed into our swim suits and went to the pool for about 20 minutes.

We showered and headed to dinner.  We went to Tomatina. Dave gone bolognese and I got pizza.  I wanted more dinner food but Dave hacked me.  He wanted to try the pizza too so that's how he tricked me. I had 4 other options I wanted before wanting pizza.   We went to Jamba Juice after. I didn't like it.
We went to sit down outside and dave put the drinks on the table then used the table to push on to sit down and tilted the table way up and 1/4 my smoothie spilled out onto the table and Dave's leg. I was disappointed. But then when I didn't like it, I guess it was OK.  Mine could have used more time in the blender. There were still fruit chunks that I had to chew. I don't like to have to chew my drinks.   We didn't want to just sit there so Dave suggested we walk around in the plaza.  We found this computer store. It was crazy. They had a row of fans, a row of motherboards, a row of this and that. Everything was for computers you could build yourself.  You don't have to order online to make a computer around here.  Dave was impressed.  The prices were also good.

I got home and put the load of laundry in the dryer but wanted to go to sleep.  I had to stay awake just so I could fold everything.  The dryer warning buzzer practically gave me a heart attack when it went off..

9.12 - Busy

Earrings and Necklace: Lia Sophia
Shirt: Loft
Skirt: B. Moss
Shoes: Famous Footwear

I don' think I like this skirt. It is a few inches too long and makes me feel heavier than I am. When you can't see my knees I think I look heavier.
I had meetings galore at work again.  I had a meeting during lunch that I provided food. I had food but then I can't run a meeting and eat. I had a meeting right after so I only got to eat less than 1/4 my lunch. I really wish I could eat faster.   I had Jersey Mike's delivered and they are the first restaurant that has delivered food on-time. They didn't mess anything up. They labeled everything nicely. We will definitely be ordering from them again. In the past even when we ordered from our onsite cafeteria, we got it 50 minutes late.

I had a 3:30 allergy shot appointment with my new PCP. Well after 55 minutes I finally got my shot. It is just a shot! I had an appointment! I cannot believe I had to wait that long.  And because of them I wouldn't get a full 2 hours between my shot and working out.  I read some of the warnings and it can actually be pretty bad to have vigorous exercise after an allergy shot.  I got shots for over 2 years before I even was told not to exercise after a shot.  In all my googling, I learned you shouldn't exercise 2 hours before an allergy shot either.  I've been getting shots for 5 years and was never told that.  I didn't die yet so I figured it would be OK to run.

I ran with Jen after work and I was late so we did almost have a full 2 hours in before the run.  Since we started a little bit after 6:15, it was pretty late when I got home. I didn't feel like cooking so I had Beeferoni for dinner.   Dave was still sick so I didn't want to cook for just one person either.  He wanted me to hang out with him so I brought a snack table up to the bedroom so I could eat and be with him.  I had a rice krispie treat for dessert. I was still hungry and needed more food. I ended up grabbing a string cheese and pretzels but then I didn't even eat any of the pretzels. I barely ate any food and wasn't even that hungry. What a weird day.  Some days I pig out and just keep wanting more food.

8.6 - Export Days

Before I left in the morning, Poly was hunting. She likes to sit on the TV stand and look out the side window.   I slept in shorts.  I rarely do that. I've probably only slept in them 6 times in the past 3 years.
I found these shorts on my closet floor. I have no idea when they are from. They are Mudd.
Shirt: Loft
Shoes: Target
Necklace & Earrings: Lia Sophia

Too bad Summer is almost over when I discovered these shorts. They fit so well.
Export
Export had their centennial celebration.  Export is such a small little town. They closed main street and had booths up.  They also had some stuff in the playground.  There were pictures and old things in a few of the office buildings too.  It was really fun seeing some of my Gram's old neighbors.  My dad and aunts knew more people than I did.
Petting Zoo
Export Playground
Some of us hung out in Jiggers. It was my first time in there. Timmy and Jared have gone before.  Aunt Nancy said that gram wouldn't let them go there when they were young.  She wants to make it a yearly tradition to go to Jiggers.
After Jiggers we went to my parents and then headed to Carson's for dinner.  Aunt Elaine is the worst follower. She went too slow and couldn't keep up.
We went to see the fireworks at 9:30 (well most of the family).
They started over 45 minutes late. It was getting crazy.  We had no idea why. Right before they started a helicopter flew over. I bet that's why they were waiting.  The fireworks lasted 30 minutes. I was impressed that such a little town had so many good fireworks.

Then I spent the night at my parents so that I could start my day without all the traveling.
