Maternity Clothes Worn

So I decided I like it right now where I can wear maternity clothes with non-maternity clothes. It gives me some  nice outfits.  I'm not sure how long this will last though.
7/7/13
7/10/13
I matched this myself and wasn't 100% sure it actually matched but I did enjoy it. It's so weird when  I moved locations in the yard that the color of my pants seemed to totally change.
7/11/13
I'm beginning to think I need white maternity jeans because everything I buy or see, I want to wear with white jeans.
7/12/13
This skirt will fit for awhile because it is super stretchy and has a foldover waistband.

All tops are from Target since my on-line orders haven't arrived.
Just out of pure coincidence all bottoms are from F21.
Shoes are from Target, Kohl's, Famous Footwear, and Kohl's (repeat).
The one necklace is from Sears.

The jeans can still button. I believe on July 10, I wore the belly band and after I ate, I unbuttoned my pants.

I can't wait until my colorful new jeans so up so I can try to figure out how to match them. Well I also dread it because I fear I won't know how to match.

I like the ruching on maternity shirts and so far all that I have worn have had it, but I did buy some without it.

What do you think?

jeans: JCP, Sandals: Kohl's, Shoes: Famous Footwear, Jacket: JCP, Shirt: Express, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Bracelets: Gift from Sachi from India, Purse: Target
pics from before and after feeding cats
I watched a few episodes of Hack.
I had PB&J for lunch.
I walked to Target. It was the worst experience ever. There was so much traffic. It was so hot. I got so sweaty. I wanted to die. While crossing El Camino I did get whistled at twice.

I changed into my swim suit after I got back since I was so sweaty. I decided to check my email first. Well next thing I knew I was going to nap for 15 minutes. Then when that timer went off, I reset it for another 15. Repeat until it was 2 hours later. I got out of bed and changed into my running clothes then got back in bed.

At 5, Hilary and I went running.

I got home and messed with my Garmin. I showered then was out the door.
Dave came home and then we went to feed two of his coworker's cats.

Then we went to dinner. We went to a place that had fried zucchini. It looked more like mozzarella sticks.

We got home at 9:30 and Dave went right to sleep.  I messed with my Garmin more and couldn't get the data to upload at all. I manually typed in all 41 splits from the run. It'll probably eventually upload but I was afraid I'd do a hard reset and loose everything. I did a hard reset but then none of the buttons worked again so I couldn't tell what was what.

Running 10 miles sure makes me exhausted.  But I'm pretty sure I felt like the walk to Target was tougher on me than the 10 mile run.

3.3

Sweater: Express, Jeans: Indi (custom), Sandals: Kohl's, Purse: NY&Co, Necklace and Earrings: Target
I woke up bright and early. Even though I went to sleep close to midnight I was exhausted getting out of bed at 8:10. (Poly didn't sleep at the foot of our bed. I guess she found Dave's clothes on top of the dresser comfortable.) I met Ryan for breakfast.  I worked with Ryan way back in the day at Pizza Hut when in college.  It was so odd to be meeting him out here. He lives in San Diego now.   His cell phone broke so I had to send him messages the day before and had to be outside waiting for him. I wish I knew how to buzz people in to this apartment.  We went to Hobee's for breakfast.  Dave didn't go because he refuses to meet new people. But the thing is Dave met him before.    After breakfast we went to Target so he could buy a burner phone for his drive back home.
I was just so exhausted. I think the sun from 3.2 had something to do with it.  I used my computer a bit. I finally did all my information for my Stampin' Up taxes for 2012. Normally Dave would have yelled at me if I didn't do them yet but we are still waiting for our Westinghouse W2 forms. I even requested more since we never got the first.
I cooked dinner. We ran out of our favorite seasoning for chicken so I used this other chicken rub that Dave bought at one point. Neither of us liked it.
We watched TV. While watching TV, I decided to do abs on the floor. Poly loves abs. She is my buddy. She purrs the entire time.  I also stretched and did some foam roller exercises.

I watched some TV after Dave went to sleep but still fell asleep before 1 AM.

Pants: VS
Shirt: F21
Sandals: Kohl's
Necklace: Lia Sophia
I was getting ready to go running and Poly got on my lap so I stayed there for hours.  It was very uncomfortable.
After dinner, Dave and I went to karaoke with his coworkers.  Except we got there and the karaoke guy never showed up so we just sat there for hours talking.  There were 7 people total.   I was so tired by the end.  I am not used to so much social interaction in one day.

Yellow Skinny Jeans

I've had yellow skinny jeans for a little over 6 months and have only worn them a few times. Granted in the summer I wore mostly shorts and they were also too big for awhile.  The outfits to the left are actual outfits I've worn with my skinny jeans.  Well the white tank top outfit is actually just  me trying on new clothes I bought at the store that day.  What outfit is your favorite? Mine is the bottom right with the orange and yellow but with the white cardigan so it's not so orange/yellow.

The trouble I have with my skinny jeans isn't so much what top to wear with them but what shoes. (I mean I still have a little trouble with what shirt to wear but not as bad as when I first got them.)

I tried doing a google image search for some ideas but most of them are impractical. I want to wear shoes with my skinny jeans that I can handle walking to and from Target in. The dressy pumps shown below might not be comfortable enough for that.

Below I tried a few different shirts, some different accessories, and different shoes.  What do you think? Would you wear bright yellow jeans in the fall?  I feel like I should be wearing more fall colors like browns and mustard but the only colorful jeans I have are bright yellow so that's what I'm working with.
I miss being able to go out on my front porch and leave the camera there while I took some pictures.  Each time I came back in the apartment today I felt odd leaving my camera out in the hallway so I brought it back in half the time.  I was uneasy most of the time. Good thing I took a few pictures with each outfit because I was not smiling in half the pictures.

11.3

Pants: VS
Shirt: Loft
Necklace: Target
Sandals: Kohl's
Earrings: Gifted from Callie

These pants get annoying because of the seam on the left pant leg. They are also pretty long. I only have a few pairs of shoes to wear with them. I have these sandals or my one pair of boots. The weather is so weird around here that I think I can get away with sandals for a little bit.  Some people wear sandals while others have on winter coats and hats. It's all very confusing.

Dave told me I have a ton of gray hair!
Dave invited Poly in my shoe box and she listened.
We went to Outback for lunch. The cheese fries are only good dipped in Ketchup.  Also I try to get fries from the bottom without cheese or bacon.  The creamy broccoli soup was delicious.  I think this is the first time I didn't eat more than one loaf of the bread.  We went grocery shopping after.
We watched some TV. I forget what else we did.

11.4

Shirt: Old Navy
Pants: VS (they are made wrong or something because the seam on the left foot is always twisted near the front and I can't seem to fix it)
Shoes: Kohl's
Necklace: F21

I started my day off with a run. I really did take advantage of the extra hour of sleep from changing the clocks. I wish when we picked the time to run, we would have taken into account the clock change and gone earlier.  It was so exhausting running in the sun. I even got some sunburn. (You can see it in the pictures.)
After I got home, I showered and looked at running data. Then I watched the Steeler Game.  Dave read the newspaper during the entire game.  I can't believe the bad calls the refs had against the Steelers.

Then I watched some more TV.  I just wanted to rest on the couch.

We went to dinner with Hilary and Wes. We took them to BJs. They hadn't been there.  I was already ready for bed by the time it was dinner time. The run was exhausting to Hilary too.

I barely watched any TV after dinner but I did put in laundry for Dave. He claimed he needed jeans. He gave me no warning. I was actually asleep on the couch and had to wake up to fold laundry.  That sucked.

10.23

Shirt: American Eagle, Pants: F21, Sandals: Kohl's, Necklace: Sears
I didn't wear the outfit for long because as soon as I started cooking, I got sauce on my clothes.
I woke up close to 9am. I started waking up at 6am but kept going back to sleep.  I went to sleep so early that my body just wanted to wake up.  After I got up, I blogged and cropped pictures for 2 hours.   I had a few draft posts but needed the pictures to go along with them. I took care of those. I also cropped pictures for my calendar site. Now September is updated. I still have to finish October.

Dave was home sick but he spent most of the day in bed.  I watched some TV. I ran.  I called my mom to ask a quick question about hot sauce and then talked to her for over an hour.  I went to Safeway.
I cooked Stuffed Pepper Soup. It was good.  The rice was my least favorite part. I should have made more rice. I forgot how my mom used to make extra rice that I'd put into the soup. I also like my soup thicker than normal so I didn't put as much water in when making it.

We watched TV.  We went to sleep at a decent hour.

10.4 - Kindle Presentation

Necklace: Target, Shirt and Jeans: F21, Sandals: Kohl's
The pants are too big in the waist/butt area but are good in the thighs. The tightness in the thighs helps hold them up.  I also wore a belt and tried to wear a shirt that would hide it. I only wore these for a couple hours and by the end they were really big. They were freshly washed and dried and only put on minutes before these pictures so they didn't have time to stretch out as bad as they were at the end of the 4 hours.
I only wore these pants 1 other time and that time I got Marsala sauce on them. I tried many things and washed them many times and the stain just didn't time out. I gave them one more try about a week ago and it finally came out.
I woke up before 9 and had quite a few emails.  Lately I haven't been getting any so it was nice to have some from some real people.  I watched a little TV.  I made some phone calls.  I did some things on my to-do list.  I went for a run at 11:30.

I ate lunch. I ate a lot because nothing is satisfying me anymore so I keep eating and eating trying to be satisfied and I'm not. (I also gained 5 lbs.) I cleaned the bathrooms. I even cleaned the mirrors. The tub we haven't used yet is all dusty so I should probably wipe that down but I didn't.
I did laundry.  I actually put it away. I've had laundry in the clean clothes laundry basket for weeks and I never get to the socks at the bottom. Well I did a lot of those.

I went to Google to meet 2 of Dave's coworkers, then we ate dinner there.  I stressed over what to wear because now that I leave the house so infrequently I don't know what people wear.  Then I went to this RPI presentation.  One of the creators of Kindle spoke. We went around the room to introduce ourselves and said our name, major, year of graduation, and when you came to California. Another guy was there from 2006 and I recognized him.  I was going to go talk to him after but he disappeared when I was signing in. I think the oldest person graduated in 63.  It was actually a quick 2 hours. Usually I'd be fighting falling asleep by the end but I couldn't believe all the time had passed. It was more of a Q&A and I enjoyed that. He also passed around a few things too.

I watched TV after I got home for a few hours.

8.10

I've worn this outfit before but liked it and thought it was nice for a picnic.
Shirt: Sam's Club, Shorts: American Eagle Outfitters, Sandals: Kohl's, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Earrings: Target, Sunglasses: found
I woke up and meant to run right away. I finally ran 2.5 hours later. I ran so late I was almost late to the picnic at Google.  After my run, it was entirely too hot so I plugged in Dave's fan that used to be in his cube.

The picnic was pretty impressive.  I got so tired standing in the sun.   We only stayed a few hours. I got full. I met a few of Dave's coworkers but not many.  They had a ton of food. They had beer and wine. There were also a lot of bouncy house type things.  There was also Gladiator Jousting. That was pretty funny to watch.  I forgot to take pictures of all the food I ate and still got a lot of pictures of my food. I like carnival food. I wish I had a ponytail holder with me because partially eating my hair slowed my eating down even more than normal.
After we got home, I napped for 3 hours.  Dave knows me so well that after he woke up, he took some pictures of me napping.  I don't know why I like it so much but often times after I wake up I ask him why he didn't take my picture.  Poly napped with me.  She was so cute.  She was like a furnace though so halfway through my nap, I had to cover my leg.
Then we watched TV. Finally at 9pm I ate dinner. I watched more TV.  Poly decided the best place to sleep was behind me when I was partially leaned forward.

Once Dave went to sleep, I used my computer and did some things on my to-do list.

8.3

My day started slow and sluggish. Poly was asleep at the foot of the bed so I used my laptop in bed. I got up at 11 or so to get dressed. I went to lunch at Google.
Man was the cake amazing.  I had 3 over-sized portions.  Vanilla Cake + whip Cream + strawberries in a marsala glaze sauce. It was the best. The actual cake was even super amazing without the toppings. That's the 2nd cake with fruit I've liked. I can never say I don't like cake with fruit. I had to stop saying that on July 4 but now I really have to stop.
I got home and was slightly productive in all rooms of the house. I unpacked a few boxes from the office closet. I unpacked a box in the master bedroom. Best of all I found the JCP receipt so now we can return Dave shirts. I also cleaned up some crap in the kitchen. There is still a little shoe box of some stuff I don't know what to do it. It has some stuff that used to be in our junk drawer in the kitchen but we don't have the luxury of that drawer anymore. I moved the tool box in the master bedroom so now I can access my night stand drawers. I think some of the junk has been in there for 5 years.

I picked Dave up at Google and man security was tight. We headed to BJ's to meet some extended family for dinner.  Man that was fun. We were at dinner 2.5 hours.  It was only the 3rd time I met them or maybe the 2nd.  The other 2 days were in August 2009 2 days in a row. I was guessing August 16 but it was August 15. I just had to dig through some pictures to find out. It's funny I remembered August 16 which was the 2nd day in a row of us together but not pictures from that day but I didn't know which year.    I really enjoyed spending time with people.  I really need to meet people. Being alone all day and only socializing with Dave is no good.

As soon as we got home, I realized we forgot to go to JCP to return the shirts. We had dinner really close to JCP and I had the shirts in the car but then I forgot.

We watched Big Brother and some of the Olympics then it was time for bed.  I don't know how I feel about the coaches entering the game. I like that the teams are on more but I don't like it. Also I feel bad for Shane not really getting a real HoH so 2 wins for nothing.   I'm mad at Shane for going against Frank. I miss Big Brother 1.  I remember more about that season than any other season. I can't believe that was 12 years ago.

7.31

Skirt: F21, Shirt: Google, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Sandals: Kohl's
I woke up and almost went for a run right away. Things held me up but not my laziness so it's OK.
Then I went to Google for lunch.  I did shower first but my face was still pretty red.  I always forget to take a picture of my first plate. The picture is of my second plate. The pineapple chicken was so good I had to get more.  On the way home I went to Lucky to try another grocery store. I liked it the least.

Poly was a very needy cat. She constantly wanted to play catch. She used to play fetch but now that I tend to have 20 ponytail holders, she never brings any back ever.   I did go through 2 boxes in the office. At this rate, I'll be done in September!
I did some SQL learning and applied for jobs in there too.

We ate leftover Tuna Noodle Casserole for dinner.  I liked that Dave ate leftovers but was also disappointed because then there weren't enough leftovers for me for any additional meals.
We watched TV after dinner.  I need to just plan to not accomplish anything on my to-do list after Dave gets home from work.

I went to sleep at the same time as Dave. I read in bed instead of how I normally play Solitaire.

8.7 - Bye Baja Fresh

I spent my morning nervous. I had a phone screen* for a job and was stressing out.  After it, I didn't want to sit at my computer so I just watched some TV.

We went to go to Baja Fresh for dinner and it was closed!  We went over to Pizza My Heart instead but man am I upset about Baja Fresh. It was still opened last week.  Dave walked by it the past 2 days but doesn't look at it so doesn't know if it was closed yesterday or not. Sad times.

Dave and I went for a 2 mile walk. It was so close to dark that it was chilly. I wished I had on long sleeves. This time of year in PA, I would have still been warm.

We watched MasterChef then I went to do some learning. SQL seems fun.

*I was told for the phone screen the manager would get back to her in about 48 hours but not more than a week. I learned just a few hours later that I now will be scheduling an interview!

**  I took some pictures on my phone but can't get them to load. The main point of them is about a house for sale near me. It is 1.12 million for 2100 sq feet. It's not even one of the most expensive ones around. It is actually one of the bigger ones.  The picture of the "formal dining room" shows a table in the middle that seats 2.

7.28

Shorts and shirt: American Eagle, Sandals: Kohl's, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Pants: F21, Jacket: NY&Co.   In the 2nd outfit, I think my pink necklace would have been better but I only changed real quick and wasn't thinking about jewelry.
I hit snooze for 1 hour.  I always hit snooze. I forgot how I always hit snooze when I worked too so I should quit feeling bad.

Dave cooked breakfast. He woke me up saying it was almost ready.  I ate 1/10 of what he made for me.  I do not do well with eating in the morning.

Then it was computer time.  Then all of a sudden Dave says it's time to go and we head to the farmers market and a few other stores.  We bought red potatoes and bread at the farmers market. We saw a lot of other things we'd like but we have tended to buy far too much food at a time then not cook it and waste it so I wouldn't allow that this time.   We then headed to Target, a specialty foods store to find oil, and a bigger Trader Joe's.

We went to Sweet Tomato for lunch since In N Out was packed.  We were both unsatisfied.

Then we went home and watched TV.  I fell asleep. Dave fell asleep first though.

I woke up after an hour and took a picture of Poly. Then I went back to sleep for another 2 hours. I only woke up when Dave was quizzing me about what to do for dinner. He kept making me think so I was getting awake.

We went to In N Out and then to Best Buy to get a new hard drive for the computer that records TV shows.
Then we worked on doing computer stuff after.
The night flew by. I think it was the 3 hour nap.
I did almost nothing in the apartment to clean it up. Only made more of a mess.  I stayed up late just wasting time because I wasn't tired from my long nap.

Sunday, August 5, 2012

7.25

I hit snooze. Poly meowed at me the 2nd time I hit it. She doesn't like me sleeping my day away either.  I was going to run right away but my allergies are quite annoying in the morning so I did some email until about 10:30.
I went for my run but I stood outside for about 15 minutes trying to get the Garmin to acquire a GPS signal. I walked a half mile in the 15 minutes hoping another spot would work. Finally I just had to run w/o the GPS. I did note the time I started running and the time I stopped.  I was originally going to do mile repeats with a half mile jog in between. I have never done that before. I needed a Garmin for that because I don't have mile or half mile segments blocked off. Well instead of doing that I ran for 20 minutes. I thought it was about 2 miles but it was just 1.85 according to map my run.  I couldn't map out the park exactly as I did it so the 1.85 isn't even right.  What's worse than not having my data is that I fear my Garmin won't work  next time or the following time.

I got back showered, ate lunch, and started watching TV.  Here and there I paused Necessary Roughness to do something then I'd get back to it. I watched 4 episodes. I'm a little mad I missed the first episode of the season.
I left a little after 5 to go to temp housing to pick up a book Dave had ordered and delivered there by mistake.  Dave took the Google shuttle there and we went to dinner together.  We went to Tomatina for dinner then Cold Stone for dessert.  We got home and used our computers and I kept getting up to accomplish some things. I vacuumed!
