LIIFT4 Week 3

This is actually the third week by dates but I had to finish week 2 workouts.  I think I included everything. The videos keep disappearing and I put them all back I think.

Monday

I’m a little behind but not missing workouts
5s, 8s, 10s, and 15s used. Well 1 8 so I hold 8 in one arm and 5 in other and swap next set.

Workout done. Only a few days behind on the program. Poly is always by my side when I workout.

Run to get Ella. Stroller tires low. Issues pumping. So running late. Had to run fast. Hated it. It started so cold. Ended so hot. When you are running late, you run fast. I’m annoyed it only says .95. Before last week it was always a mile or 1.05 if I started right at my garage. For the last week it’s been .95 every time.

2nd run turned to half walk. And mapmyrun didn’t include my pic so you get pic not stats

Tuesday

Week 2 day 4. I was not in the mood to do all that hiit after running yesterday.

I did my workout even though I really didn’t want to. But new dresses came in the mail. I didn’t want to try them on without a shower first. I didn’t want to shower without a workout first. So there you have it. Workout complete.

Wednesday

Rest day was catch up for me. And man leg day and today back to back rough on pain the ol’ booty. I had sweat drips on the floor today. I kept stopping the video because Miles was awake but content in his crib so I tried to hurry to finish. I couldn’t check the baby monitor without stopping my video. My arms were dead after. Upped weights. So 20 lb for chest I went a bit slower than the cues. Also tricep push-ups at the end I couldn’t do more than 8!

It’s the first time I noticed sweat drips on the floor

 Thursday

First we started on bike. And turned around. Swapped to scooter. So overall commute was 35 minutes for 1 mile. So much frustration. (I was pushing a stroller. The fastest part was the few hundred yards Ella ran and I ran while pushing a stroller and holding her scooter.

And then the run home kid free.

My plans changed and I didn’t have to run to school again and again so I did a video. Still behind but week 3 day 2 done. Even with double workouts I’m not catching up! One of these days.

Friday
This is a very see through maternity tank top but in this lighting you can’t tell so much. I wore real people clothes earlier today so decided to wear something that isn’t so good for all day. It’s the first maternity top I’ve worn this pregnancy.

My shoulders are tired
My triceps are still sore
My biceps are still sore
My glutes are not still sore. Yay
I didn’t pee my pants at all this workout. Which is way better than I can say for running lately.
I feel so good right now. I think spending 90 minutes eating and eating more and more lunch helped. I needed some food!

I only remembered to turn on my Fitbit as a workout when the cooldown started. Ha. Usually I start it a little late then 3 hours later realize I need stop it.

Ahh these videos keep disappearing from the post. This is so annoying.

15 Weeks (October)

I've been busy so I feel like I didn't notice movement this week. It was always something going on this week. The last few days in the week my throat hurt a little bit but then I was so busy I never even made tea with honey to try to help with it.

My the end of the day after dinner, I look so much more pregnant.   Ella loves to come over and lift up my shirt and kiss the baby.

Miles finally stopped being as clingy.

More people I end up talking to bring up how I'm pregnant or congratulations.

Ella still says she hopes it's a girl. Miles still constantly changes his mind if he wants a little brother or sister.
Size of baby: Apple, 4 inches long

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  I gained 0.6 lb this week so I am at a 5.1 lb loss overall. Throughout the week I was .8 higher than that at one point so I will probably have a jump up again the next time I weigh myself.

Maternity Clothes: Nope. Just wearing flowy workout tops. I'm a little annoyed with 2 of my workout pants since I now wear them below my belly they tend to fall down in the crotch with a lot of movement. They normally would get pulled up to the belly button.

Gender: We will find out on November 20.

Movement: At night I do more. When I'm on the go, I don't notice.

Sleep: Poly tends to wake me up at least twice. Days the windows are open and it's colder she does twice she might only once other days.  I have to go to the bathroom at least once in the night but if Poly wakes me twice I just go at those times. I'm having such crazy dreams daily and sometimes they cause me to wake up more tired too.

What I miss: Didn't notice much this week.

Cravings: Nothing yet.

Aversions: Nothing really

Symptoms: I still get lightheaded quicker but am barely lightheaded this pregnancy so I think it's not bad. I have to go to the bathroom a million times a day. I cannot run without going to the bathroom immediately before the run. My dreams are insane. I'm exhausted.

Best moment this week: I'm not sure.

Looking forward to: Finding out if we are having a boy or a girl.

Exercise: I took 1 rest day. I did a workout video one day and ran the rest of the days.

Same this time: I take my photos every morning like I did with Miles. With Ella I took them at some point in the day.

Different from last time: I didn't have a huge weight gain this week this time but did with Ella and Miles. I didn't even list symptoms last time.

14 Weeks (October)

Sunday night we told the kids. Ella was so excited. Miles was dancing around excited saying "big brother."  Then that night I put together my announcement video. I had Poly jumping out of the bag but I put the rest together.  I posted that on Monday.  Then I swear Monday was just full of facebook notifications and I wasted so much time. Finally I could talk about it.

Size of baby: Nectarine, 3.5-4 inches

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  5.8 lb loss overall. I gained 0.1 in the past week.

Maternity Clothes: No. I did pull some out and wash them since last time I wore them I didn't have to wear free and clear detergent.

Movement: A lot

Sleep: I'm still waking up in the night. I pee a few times but usually the cat wakes me then I just go because I'm already up. If poly wakes me up near 5 then I try and try to fall back to sleep but don't.

What I miss: lunch meat, the ability to be super productive after I get the kids asleep.

Cravings: Nothing yet.

Aversions: Nothing really

Symptoms: I'm so exhausted at night. I go to the bathroom a million times a day. I have to go to the bathroom immediately before I run or it's not pretty.

Best moment this week: Telling people. Well mainly I just posted it and had people see from that. I didn't

Looking forward to: Talking with more people about the pregnancy.  Getting the weekly posts on the blog. Finding out if we are having a boy or a girl.  (Same exact as last time.)

Exercise: I did 4 workout videos  and then on Thursday ran 6x (3 commutes to and from preschool).

Same this time: Same looking forward to. I woke up early with all 3 pregnancies.

Different from last time: The doctor appointment timing.

LIIFT4 Week 2

I have spent so much time adding the videos and then readding them because they  disappear. It's annoying me greatly. The only thing worse is the mapmyrun pictures I put in an album was not showing up so I couldn't add any pictures from that. Therefore this blog post took way longer than it should have.

Monday

I was going to do the workout but then napped. I did run to school for some reason my belly was having lots of pain with the run so I walked home. Ella walked home too

Tuesday

Yesterday’s workout done triceps are dead

Wednesday
I ran to school. Wow a single stroller was nicer

Thursday

OK I guess today is my first rest day this week. I was going to do my workout and everything derails me. But tomorrow I have to run then run then run again all before noon so I think i'll rest up. Not my normal commutes. Going from one preschool to the other is going to suck.

Friday
Ok. I ran (and walked a lot today)
This was 1.7 mi but I was durations things in the stroller so walked to the next street before starting to run.
This was 2.1 miles total but I walked a bit at first and forgot to unpairs. Also I forgot to stop it so then the pace got worse.

The third distance was a mile but I spent half the time replying to texts so I walked. And then I ran.
The 2nd run was after being in the sun an hour and I ran in the sun. And I had to off road because of lack of sidewalks.

This third one was so hot with the sun beating down on me. Midday runs suck.

My legs are dead.
How did I used to run 18 miles for an easy run with others at a much faster pace?! Granted that was never in the midday sun

Saturday
I walked a fun run course. Then ran it with Miles ...if that counts. ha. I planned to work out later. But  I never did. I was over 3000 over my step goal. Busy day running an event then rushing to another event.

Sunday

I did Tuesday’s workout. It was a mess. Miles cried and cried and said it was because he wanted me to put my hoodie on. The kids were distracted with TV and right before the workout Dave ruined that. Miles cried and cried and finally said he was crying because he wanted me to put my hoodie on. That’s the only reason it went back on.
I did workouts 6 days this week. With some days multiple runs. Still only did 2 Liift4 this week.

Family Photos Video

We had some family photos taken a month ago. I didn't make the time to make a post about them or anything yet. But then I saw google created this video for me. So I'll post this and later when I put all the photos in an album and finally make a post, I'll post that too. These aren't all the photos. These are just the ones google decided to use for a video.

They were taken so we had 2 year photos for Miles. I am pretty sure Ella's 2 year photos were the last ones we had taken for her besides when she was in on various photo shoots for Miles's milestones.

They were taken September 29, 2018. Photo credits: Amy Ward Photography

13 Weeks (October)

I had my NT scan this week. Then I also had the 10-13 week blood work.

So far this first trimester is the best of the 3 pregnancies. Lately I'm nauseous at night if I have to be in a car. That sucks. But it's nothing compared to the constant level of being lightheaded that I was with the other pregnancies.

Size of baby: Tangerine, 2.5-3 inches

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I gained 0.7 lb this week so now I'm only at a loss of 5.8 lb.

Maternity Clothes: No. My belly is a log bigger but my clothes still fit.

Movement: I feel movement all the time.

Sleep: I'm not sleeping well at all. Poly is so annoying and annoys me if I'm not lying just how she wants with the afghan just how she wants.  My back is sore when I'm on my back so then it wakes me up.  Poly likes to knead on me and purr too and wants petting in the middle of the night.

What I miss: Functioning in the evening without being super exhausted.

Cravings: Nothing yet.

Aversions: Nothing really

Symptoms: I'm not even really sure. Peeing all the time. Exhaustion. I keep forgetting to mention the gagging when brushing my teeth. I remember this with Miles too. I make it about 20 seconds. Some days I brush my teeth 3x in the morning just to try to finish. I attempt to do a super quick pass over all the teeth so I at least touch them all before I start gagging.

Best moment this week: The Ultrasound to see the baby.

Looking forward to: Telling people...but I need to get creative for an announcement and I'm too tired/not creative enough for that.

Exercise: I did 3 workout vides and ran to and from school once. Oh I ran to Miles's preschool so that was further and a new route so took longer when figuring out the turns.

Same this time: Apparently I always miss working out a lot even though 2 of 3 times I worked out at least 4 days in the week. I just really want to be working out.

Different from last time: I don't even remember doing the NT scan the other times. I don't think I did but can't remember.

Miles 25 Months Update

I'm not doing a full update.
I just wanted to note that Miles has gotten very stubborn this month.
He is very hard to control in public places. He tests limits a lot. He won't hold my hand in a parking lot and wiggles to get out of my grasp if I'm holding him.
He knows he's up to no good when he's up to no good. You can see the look on his face.
He's starting hitting Ella back or hitting her when mad. He always has to have the last hit. He will often go in for a hug after as if to apologize.
If you put him on a time out, and talk to him about why, he is very good at communicating what he did wrong. Then you ask if he'll do it again and he says yes.

Miles knows his shapes a lot better now. He can even draw a circle. He likes to draw pictures that he says are his "family" and then hang them on the wall.
Miles is obsessed with Daniel Tiger. He wants me to only read him Daniel Tiger books. I'm so sick of these 24 stories. We read 2-3 (sometimes up to 5) before every nap and every sleep at night.  He's gotten better at going into his crib awake at least.

Milestones
On September 14, Miles opened a bag of chips for the first time himself.
On September 15, In the past week Miles has been playing actual games on the iPad. I don’t know how he figured it out.
On September 17, Miles was awake and quiet in his crib for a long time. I went in when he was standing. He also discovered reaching the light switch from his crib. Later saying bye to daddy,Miles waves and says "bye daddy" then says “I love you daddy.” Oh it was so cute.
On September 18, when we were leaving school a mom got there and Miles hugged her. I woke him to run then he fell asleep in stroller. This might only be his third ever fall asleep in the stroller.
On September 19, Miles cut finger and head with kid scissors. It was his first time trying to use them then he just wanted to run around and play with them.
On September 20, Miles sang abcs to g. And then I sang some and he got mad then he sang more.
On September 21, Miles had his first crib to car transfer where he was still asleep. He even carried a box of books. Miles can draw a circle.
On September 22, Miles was saying goodnight to Dave and Ella. He’s so tired. He says goodnight to them then "goodnight poopy" then "goodnight poopheads." He finds this so funny.
On September 25, Miles discovers he's tall enough to turn on and off the lights.

I wrote this weeks ago but then never finished the post.

12 Weeks (September)

I'm huge by nightfall. In the morning I still show but in the evening I show a lot.  I think I expand more as the day go on  than I did with the past pregnancies.

Miles is so clingy to me. He always was but I feel like he is a lot more lately.

My stomach gets bumped a lot from these kids and it hurts.

It's actually week 12 and I haven't made a collage yet. These posts should be posting soon so I better get on the pictures I've taken.
Size of baby: lime, 2.5-2.8 inches

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I gained 1 lb this week so now I am only down 6.5 lbs. (The next day I was 1.3 lb less though.)

Maternity Clothes: No well I did because my normal shorts were all dirty and I tried the maternity shorts but they were way too big. I also wore the skinny maternity jeans. I'm surprised they were still in my closet instead of boxed away with maternity clothes.  They were way too big in the waist but way too tight in the calves.

Movement: Maybe. Not sure. I think once or twice.

Sleep: It's not very good. I'm even exhausted but so much to do so then I try to do things on my computer but since I'm exhausted it takes a couple hours and I'm still awake and exhausted.

What I miss: Being able to go out to dinner without being nauseous.

Cravings: Nothing

Aversions: Nothing

Symptoms: I'm up peeing 1 or 2 times in the night. I'm getting a little nauseous and kind of want to throw up sometimes at night.

Best moment this week: Miles did well at preschool

Looking forward to: Actually telling people. My NT Test.

Exercise: I ran to and from school and then to and from school in one day then did 2 workout videos 2 other days.

Same this time: I'm showing and trying to be careful not to show on pictures I post. (Last time I didn't know people but this time I'm also trying not to show to people in person.)

Different from last time: I weigh myself more because I'm still lower in weight than I have been the past 2 times.  I lost more weight this time than before. I didn't get nearly as lightheaded this time.

Gender Predictions

I did a blog post when pregnant with Miles. The predictions were mostly wrong. I decided to check it out again.

I don't know yet if I'm having a boy or girl.

The heartbeat theory. "Fetal heart rates range between 110 and 160," explains Patricia Crane, MSN, CNM, director of the nurse-midwifery service with the University of Michigan Health Systems. "If your baby's heart rate averages in the 110 to low 130s range, the thought is that it's more likely a boy, and if it's in the mid 140s to 160 range, it's more likely a girl. Mid-130s to 140s is unpredictable -- and where a lot of heart rates fall."

The heart rate was high at the first 2 doctor appointments. I forget the number but it was high.

Prediction: Girl
Rumor has it that if you are carrying your baby high, it's a girl. Carrying low? Stock up on blue.
Similar tales say if you carry in front, you've got yourself a little boy, and if you expand horizontally, it's a girl.
Probably too early for this. No idea. Right now it's still only in the front.
Prediction: Boy
Legends say that if you are having a little girl, she'll steal your beauty. So, if you've got acne and other not-so-pretty skin blemishes, you've got a little princess coming your way.
Dry hands and cold feet are signs of a boy. So, if you've got these ailments, break out the baby blue.
I had acne at week 4. My feet have been cold but the house is 64 degrees a lot so I'm not counting that.
Prediction: Girl
Here's a fun one— take off your wedding ring, tie it to a piece of string, and hang it over your belly. If it swings in a circle, you are promised a boy; back and forth indicates a girl.
I didn't actually do this so I don't know the prediction
This one is as old as it is weird. The mom-to-be is required to pee in a cup, and mix in a tablespoon of Drano. If the liquid turns green, you're having a girl. Blue? You guessed it. It's a boy.
We don't recommend trying this one. Mixing these two can result in dangerous fumes or, scary enough, an explosion. A safer version of this experiment uses baking soda. If the mixture fizzles, it's a boy. If it doesn't, you've got yourself a girl!
I didn't do this one either so I don't have a prediction.
Craving sweets? According to some, that means your going to have a little girl. Salty and sour cravings indicate a boy.
Normally I go for salty and I still do. I guess. I really crave no food though.
Prediction: Boy or neither.
Chinese birth charts use your age at conception and the month you conceived to determine the sex of your baby. Want to give it a shot? Try it!The Mayans used a similar method. They looked at your age at conception and the year your baby was conceived. If both are even or odd, it's a girl. If one is even and one is odd, oh baby — it's a boy!
Prediction: Girl
Has your spouse been indulging in your pregnancy cravings, too? If your hubby packs on a little sympathy weight, the tales say you're in for a sugary-sweet little girl.
Prediction: Girl
Actually, morning sickness means pink. If you're stricken with a queasy stomach during your first trimester, think ribbons and bows. If you sail through your pregnancy with nary an upset stomach, it's blue all the way.
Prediction: Girl
If you've got a preggo friend, try this little experiment on her. Place a key in front of her and ask her to pick it up.
If she grabs it by the narrow part, she'll have a sweet little girl. If she picks it up by the round part, she'll have an adorable little boy.
I didn't actually do this one but I know I'd pick the key up by the big part.
Prediction: Boy
Most of these are from a family education site. The heartbeat one I saw on multiple sites.

So 3 of these predict boy and 5 predict girl.  Did you do any old wives tales predictions and were they right?

11 Weeks

I finally had my first doctor appointment.  Like always she ran so so late. I was so glad Gio watched Miles so he wasn't there to.  I didn't even enjoy my time in the waiting room because I was trying to get onto their stupid website to see what time it listed for my appointment. The lady checking me in told me I was late and my appointment was at 11 but I thought it was at 11:30. I never did get to confirm. The doctor told me it was 11:30 when I finally saw her.

The baby had just moved at the start of the ultrasound so the heart rate sped up. She printed the heart rate for me but it was the faster one. 180.  I have to get blood work between 10 and 13 weeks. Since the baby was at a bad angle and measured 9 weeks 6 days instead of 10 weeks 2 days the doctor said I couldn't go down and get the blood work or they'd just make me redo it.  How annoying.

I thought they had me so riled up that my BP would be high. Well it was 101/57. I wonder if that was higher than it was normally. I had a low BP in the first trimester when I was pregnant with Miles.

I am constantly taking side profile pictures shocked at how pregnant I look. After dinner the food + baby = wow.

Maybe I should unpack my night stand so I can dig out my fetal doppler.

I don't know how I'm still functioning. All week basically all my time was spent carnival planning.

I'm so lazy that as the weeks happen I write these but I'm not even loading the pics from my camera or looking at them. I want to start comparing all 3 pregnancies in 1 collage.
I look the same from the front
Size of baby: fig, 1.8-2.3 inches

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I didn't gain or lose this week so my overall weight loss is still 7.5 lbs.  but I was .5 lighter Friday adn then was .8 lower on Sunday. Just Saturday happened to be the same as the previous week.

Maternity Clothes: No and my normal clothes are mostly loose. But I have to be careful now because my bump or gut are noticeable so I want to hide it. Even though I've lose weight my old clothes that were too tight are still too tight.

Sleep: I'm not sleeping nearly enough. The cat will not leave me alone. She's always purring and wanting me to lie just how she wants me to. Miles wakes up early. I try to do stuff after the kids are asleep. I have to pee what feels like a million times in the night. Also Poly has woken me up twice this week throwing up!

What I miss: Working out but that's carnival related and not really pregnancy related well except that i'm so exhausted.

Cravings: Nothing yet.

Aversions: I dunno. I feel like maybe food didn't seem appealing this week that usually does but now I can't remember.

Symptoms: I notice my sense of smell but mainly on bad things like the cat litter or the gross garbage can.  I am tired. My stomach is getting upset some nights but not so bad anymore.

Best moment this week: We preordered the minivan (or was that last week? It was on the weekend but forget what day we went.) The doctor appointment was this week finally!

Looking forward to: Actually telling people. Remembering to call and schedule an appointment. I had the info since Monday and slacked off. Oops.

Exercise: I ran to and from school and then to and from school on Tuesday. I did some squats and some decline push-ups. That's it. I'm a big slacker. I did hit my step goal a lot doing all kinds of planning and then the actual carnival.

Same this time:. My dreams are pretty vivid.

Different from last time: I am not lightheaded. I was with Ella. I was barely with Miles. Ok I did get lightheaded twice but I would have not pregnant based on how much I did and how little I ate.  I had my doctor appointment for the first time this time but it was in week 8 with Ella and week 9 with Miles.

2018 Week 42/52 Photo

I decided to share my favorite photo of the week again. Nothing like starting something new the 41st week of the year.

After the fun run, I asked Ella if I could take her picture in front of the photo booth. She said no. I said can I take her picture with one of her friends. She got so excited and said Aurelia and ran to get her.  These pictures just show how happy the girls are. I love it.

I included extra pictures to show the pure joy.

10 Weeks (September)

I feel like all I do is complain about how exhausted I am. I mean Miles is waking up 1.5 hours early. I am planning a big event and some small events and I also had a birthday party so maybe I had an excuse to be tired but I was SO TIRED.

Miles is so clingy. He will not let Dave do anything. Ella is also more clingy to me too. She thinks she'd rather skip gymnastics than have Dave take her. She said the same thing about ballet. (Article on toddler regression during pregnancy that I shared last time.)

Size of baby: kumquat, 1.3-1.7 inches

Total Weight Gain/Loss:I'm down 7.5 overall. I lost 1.2 lbs in the past week.  I feel like the scale might be broken. How can I keep losing weight. I was even lower midweek. I swear I'm eating. I mean sometimes I'm forgetting and then some people remind me and I get to it.

Maternity Clothes: Not even close. My old too small shorts are still too small but my current jean shorts are now a little too big and always falling down. I like to wear athletic clothes.  But lately my belly can't handle the waist band so high so I have to put it below the belly.

Sleep: It's going pretty horribly. Miles wakes up too early. He goes to sleep too late.  I don't have time to plan my big events.

What I miss: Working out with ease. Functioning properly in the evenings.

Cravings: Nothing yet.

Aversions: I still don't seem to want food in general.

Symptoms: I'm tired, exhausted, and in some evenings nauseous.

Best moment this week: I told a couple people.

Looking forward to: My first doctor appointment. That still did not happen! AHHHH.

Exercise: I basically work out twice a week now. This week I ran once and I did 1 workout video.

Same this time:  I worked out 2 times in the week just like I did this week when pregnant with Miles. I also had issues functioning in the evening when pregnant with Miles.  Last time Ella was clingy as all get out and this time Miles is. It's like these kids know something. Ella is also clingier.  I'm consistently taking morning pictures like I did with Miles. With Ella some pictures were afternoon and belly is bigger at that time.

Different from last time: I am not lightheaded.  I lost weight again. The last 2 times I had started to gain back at this point. With both pregnancies I already had my first doctor appointment by this point but this time I did not.  With Miles it was a week after the one with Ella. This time it'll be a week after I went with Miles.

9 Weeks (September)

I went to the dentist. They were surprised I was pregnant. They said my gums/teeth were in better shape than most pregnant women. They also said I didn't look pregnant yet.  This is yet another thing to add to my disbelief that I'm even pregnant. The main one is HOW AM I NOT LIGHTHEADED?!

I feel so exhausted this week. I feel like all I do is complain to everyone about how exhausted I am.

I finally feel like I'm showing so maybe I am actually pregnant. This was only the end of the week. But now I feel weird not telling people because I feel like it's so obvious.

This is a mid afternoon picture and look how big I look.

Size of baby: cherry, 1 inch (2.5 cm)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm down 0.7 lb this week so down a total of 6.3 lb so far. A few days ago I was even lower so the loss could be even worse.

Maternity Clothes: No and my normal clothes fit looser than they have been except in the belly!

Movement: I don't feel any.

Sleep: I'm so exhausted. I'm falling asleep every night with my laptop on me.  Miles wakes up so early anymore. Then I try to nap on the couch while he watches TV and eats so early. I get about 6 hours a night.  I'm having such crazy dreams too.

What I miss: Doing things without being so exhausted. Cleaning the house is a hardship. I keep skipping my workouts and I don't like that.

Cravings: Nothing yet.

Aversions: Eating in general.

Symptoms: I'm exhausted, fatigued, and drained. I feel like I get lightheaded in the morning just briefly but I keep resting and hate doing anything so then I don't get so awful.

Best moment this week: Miles's birthday party.

Looking forward to: Actually telling people. My doctor appointment. It feels like an eternity away

Exercise: I did a few random like 2 min exercises and 1 or 2 workout videos.

Same this time: I've lost a lot of weight. Some symptoms are similar.

Different from last time: I'm nowhere near as lightheaded as I remember.

Birthday Interview Miles

  1. How old are you? 2 (and tried to show 2 fingers)
  2. Who is your best friend? Happy Birthday (No. who is your favorite person?) Pap-Pap
  3. What is your favorite color? Jacket (no what’s your favorite color?) I want art. I want paper. … 10/17 asked again “black” (every other time he tells me purple)
  4. What is your favorite animal? Bull (Did you say bull?) No. (What’s your favorite animal?) Red. I want a red shirt. --- I had to stop this interview because now he says Red for everything.
  5. What is your favorite food? Ketchup
  6. What is your favorite TV show? Black --- This interview is not going well either.
  7. What is your favorite song? I want to go get Eggs (and he pulls me away crying to make him eggs)
  8. What is your favorite book? My show. (what show?) Daniel Tiger. Daniel Tiger made me feel better. (Except he’s referring to the book making him feel better.)
  9. What makes you happy? You (Me...he likes me!)
  10. What makes you sad? Sad (yea what makes you sad?) Sad. I want another one. (He realized I paused his show.)
Started on September 24 because I forgot and it didn't go well. I attempted again on October 17. It did not go well.

8 Weeks (September)

Miles is way more clingy that he was.  I'm so tired.  I still have a hard time believing I'm even pregnant. I'm not lightheaded. I'm not so lightheaded I can't function. I keep thinking this must mean I'm not really pregnant.

Size of baby: raspberry, 1/2 inch (12.7 mm)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I gained 0.3 lb this week so now I have lost a total of 5.6 lb.

Maternity Clothes: No but sometimes I feel like I'm showing a little by the end of the day.  My shorts are so loose in the legs now but fit normal around the waist.

Sleep: I'm not sleeping enough. Miles and Poly seem to wake me up way too early every single day. I'm sleeping pretty well. I'm tired at night but not falling asleep right away because I have to many to do list items going on in my head. I'm very overwhelmed lately.

What I miss: Having a desire to eat.

Cravings: Nothing.

Aversions: Food in general. Nothing is appealing. Even when I cook, I tend to eat half of what I use dot and that's after forcing myself to eat for a full hour.

Symptoms: moody and exhausted. One night I was also nauseous.

Best moment this week: Not sure.

Looking forward to: Actually telling people. My doctor appointment on September 17.

Exercise: Running, weights, workout videos, mini challenges. I'm feeling so exhausted after running.

Same this time: I had the same same looking forward to. I also couldn't think of a best moment.  I seem to be more similar to Ella's pregnancy than to Miles's. Like my aversion to food. I know people this time (and with Miles) so then I am more conscious of what I'm saying. Last time I was complaining a lot to people about being so tired and I feel like I'm doing the same thing this time.

Different from last time: I'm not getting sick just thinking of foods like I did when pregnant with Miles.  I don't need to keep crackers everywhere with me like I did with Miles.

LIIFT4 Week 1

I started a new workout program.  I did B4LIIFT for a week then started the 8 week program.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.   I did my videos on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. I ran 6 times on Thursday so was not doing a workout video too.

Day 1: Chest/Triceps
Didn’t hit start in the video so missed first 2 sets. That sun. Ahhh I need curtains over sliding glass door if nap time is my workout time
 Day 2: Back/Biceps

Thursday I ran.

Day 3: Shoulders
Also Miles spilt apple juice on the floor. Apparently I did a bad job cleaning it up. It was a bit sticky. I need to mop before tomorrow.

Day 4: Legs
My glutes were sore on the warmup so the workout was rough. Ella came down when she finished her necklace.
I modify high knees always. #momproblems. Ella says she did he entire workout. Miles said he did the entire workout too. Haha

7 Weeks (August)

By the end of the day I feel like I'm showing except weeks/months ago, I just looked pregnant at night when I wasn't.
I still feel like I can't possibly be pregnant because I'm not lightheaded. If I wasn't dropping weight like crazy I wouldn't think I was.
I haven't even uploaded my weekly pictures to the app on my phone yet. Well actually I haven't even looked at the pictures on a computer. I just plan to go back eventually and add pictures to these weekly posts before I actually post them.

My clothes are looking so huge. I bet my too tight shorts would actually fit now. My normal shorts are very loose except in the waist area.

When I first wake up, I seem to get slightly lightheaded when I'm doing productive things like laundry or carrying Miles to get him food.

How many weeks: 7

Size of baby: blueberry (8 mm or 4.2-5.1 mm depending on what source you look at)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: .8 lb lost this week for a total of 5.9 lbs lost. My weight was 1.1 lb higher today than yesterday or the loss would have been worse.

Maternity Clothes: Nope

Sleep: I feel like it's the same.

What I miss: Working out without getting lightheaded or working out in general

Cravings: Nothing yet.

Aversions: All food. I kind of remember this when pregnant with Ella.

Symptoms: I pee even more often than I was.

Best moment this week: Cooking with the kids and friends

Looking forward to: Actually telling people. I feel like it'll be such a surprise.

Exercise: Running, push-ups, planks, wall-squat. I've done some beachbody workout videos. Running feels a lot harder but I am going fast. I feel like my asthma is trigger when I ran this last time though.

Same this time: Poly sure loves me and purrs and wants me to pet her.

Different from last time: I am not lightheaded at all. My sleep is still normal.

2018 Week 41/52 Photo

I was talking to some mom friends and a few sent their favorite picture from the week. I scrolled through my phone and picked my favorite and sent it. I realized even though I post a pic or so a day to instagram or facebook, I hadn't even shared my favorite.    Maybe I'll do a new blog post idea with this.

Miles and I went to an impromptu breakfast out because I forgot to feed him. He was just so cute the entire time. I liked this picture though.  I just love his little face.  He was waiting for his pancakes here.

6 Weeks (August)

I still sometimes randomly think about it and can't believe I'm really pregnant. I'm curious how soon it will take to show this time around.

I was just thinking how I got pregnant again just after getting content with my weight and my body after having Miles. It took almost 2 years. It was so much harder to lose the weight after having Miles than after having Ella. Will baby 3 be even harder!?  I'm not looking forward to that.

How many weeks: 6

Size of baby: 1/4 inch, Lentil

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 5.1 lb loss overall. I lost .5 from Week 5 to Week 6.  (I lost .7 by this point when I was pregnant with Ella and I lost 2.1 lbs by this point when I was pregnant with Miles.)

Sleep: My sleep seems to be the same as it was before I was pregnant.

What I miss: having a throat that doesn't hurt. This is just because I'm sick and not pregnancy related though.

Cravings: Give me all the cheese.

Aversions: Besides cheese, I don't have a desire to eat food at all.

Symptoms: I'm slightly lightheaded in the mornings when I get Miles. It's like I need a few minutes to slow down but then I'm fine.

Best moment this week: Not sure. Nothing crazy happened.

Looking forward to: Actually telling people. I just want to tell someone a few times a day. I have to consciously not. My doctor appointment on September 17.  I want to tell people in person. I mostly told people over text, hangouts, or the phone the last few times. I can't think of anyone right now that I told in person. I want to at least tell someone in person to properly see their reaction.

Exercise: Running, videos, weights until I got sicker so Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I did not workout.

Same this time: I still can't believe I'm pregnant sometimes. I was starting this post going to write that but read the last post and saw I thought the same things when I was pregnant with Miles.  I'm doing similar exercising as last time. I'm looking forward to the same thing.

Different from the first time but the same as last time: I didn't list being lightheaded as a symptom when pregnant with Ella but mentioned it with what I miss.  From what I remember, I was a lot more lightheaded then. I actually feel like maybe I'm not really pregnant because how can I not be lightheaded. I felt the same way when pregnant with Miles though.

Different from the other times: I am craving food. I am not taking prenatal vitamins like I should be.

5 Weeks (August)

I took a pregnancy test at 5 weeks. I meant to earlier but I couldn't find mine and then either forgot at the store or never made it to the store. I took it in the afternoon after I got home. The line showed up in 10 seconds instead of a minute.

All week I had noticed I had more patience with the kids.

I decided against pink as the shirt I wear for my weekly photos because I no longer have my old ones anymore. I just went with a workout black top with a sports bra.  Now I can do that weekly even with a maternity black top when I have to use that.

How many weeks: 5

Size of baby: Sesame Seed, 2 mm

Total Weight Gain/Loss: lost 1.6 lbs in the past week and that means I lost 4.6 lbs overall

Sleep: Same as always

What I miss: Nothing yet

Cravings: Nothing yet. Or maybe cheese. The only food I want to eat is cheese.

Aversions: I don't want to eat food at all.

Symptoms: I'm a little lightheaded but also keep being busy all day and not really eating so then I'd be lightheaded even without being pregnant.

Best moment this week: I can't remember. I'm writing this later.

Looking forward to: Telling people.

Exercise: I did some form of exercise everyday. I only ran once.

Same this time: Well I'm not lightheaded so I feel like I'm not even pregnant. I thought that when I was pregnant with Miles.

Different from last time: I don't have the symptoms. I haven't noticed a heightened sense of smell.

5.4.18 Roadtrip Day 4 Canada to Michigan

“Cashews” “pool” “peas” (please), “eat” “more choo choo” -- Words Miles likes to say a lot.

Left hotel at 10:22
McD’s drive thru breakfast. They had bagels!

Miles napped.
I napped
Border crossing long lines. We were unsure if Dave’s one thing could have us go to the one short line or not and we didn’t want to chance it so we waited.

12:06 3 min at booth

Super charger

Miles loved the lake

Potbelly’s

So windy

We went to go to a park but then it so empty so we didn’t go.
3:03 went to super charger
Then we backtracked to another park. One that I saw initially but navigated us to the other one.  There were so many couples there taking prom pictures.
Ella was bad so we left.

We sat in car 20 min to book hotel and to kill time.

There is so much traffic.

5:50 - to dinner 40 min early. We were meeting Kyle and his wife, Kelly.

Dinner sat and talked a while. Then we took a pic outside.

We rode by water after.

Why does MI have all these blinking traffic lights? It’s so weird.
Emergency bathroom stop for me at a gas station. I got lucky one was so close!
Hotel:  Ella and Dave swim and they tell Miles just returning cart because he wants to swim (but has to go to sleep)

There is a dog barking outside. The dog is being walked before sleeping in a cage in a truck.

Miles asleep just before swimmers return
I did some workout in the dark then after getting Ella a little ready for bed I went down to the gym. I ran 1 mile!

Internet is worthless at the hotel.
Slow progress!
