Ella's Birthday Interview (8 years old)

We had cake after Liam was asleep.

I try to ask this every birthday but seem to be missing a few.    I asked these all to Ella a couple weeks late.

2. Who is your best friend? Eleanor and Arya
3. What is your favorite color? blue
4. What is your favorite animal? dog
5. What is your favorite food? Daddy’s soup (aka expensive ramen), burgers and fries
6. What food do you really dislike? Potato salad and the other stuff that I don’t like that I don’t eat.
7. What is your favorite TV show? Moriah Elizabeth, Carina, Rebecca Zamolo (these are like youtube videos. What about tv shows?) Thundermans, H2O Mermaids, Haunted Hathaways
8. What is your favorite song? Hamilton and riding my horse down the old town road
9. What is your favorite book? (… looks around and sees a book and tells me that title ) Rainbow Magic Fairies. She updated with Also Smile
10. What is your favorite thing to wear? I don’t know
11. What makes you happy? Having playdates and watching extra youtube kids and youtube and netflix
12. What makes you sad? When i hurt myself and when i don’t have playdates for a long time.
13. What is your favorite toy/game? All the toys and games I play with.
14. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas and my birthday
15. What would you buy if you had $1,000? One thousand toys. Maybe less. And a lot of candy. And a lot of toothpaste (laughs)

18. What is your favorite memory? I don’t have any memories
19. What is your favorite stuffed animal? My stuffed animal that i keep renaming. It’s a bunny that keeps getting stuck under the bed. Fuzzle, Poodle, or Fluffy are it’s names.

Miles's 4rd birthday interview

 I forgot about this so it was late. I seem to repeat myself. His third birthday interview was late too.

2. Who is your best friend? The TV ( how about a person) the only person I love super a lot is you (--I am his best friend :) )

6. What food do you really dislike? Nothing (he really means a lot. He hates so much)

9. What is your favorite book? I don't know. Batman, Superman, maybe 
10. What is your favorite thing to wear? None of it except pajamas when I go to bed

Father's Day Video

I put together a video for Dave for Father's Day. I tried to ask the kids the same questions but they didn't answer all of them and sometimes I forgot my questions.

I had a lot more videos and pictures I could have included but just selecting snippets was taking forever and the file took forever to save. If the app closed before I saved, I lost it. So I had about 100 other pictures and videos I didn't end up including.

Ella's 6th Birthday Interview

I only ever asked Ella half the questions but now it's months later so I'll just post the half I did ask. I first interviewed her on January 11 and we didn't finish. Then I asked again on February 9.  She wasn't very cooperative.

I skimmed her birthday interview at 4.5 and her favorite thing to wear was the thing she was wearing then. She also had a unicorn involved in her birthday wish. Her favorite animal was a zebra too.

I always forget so this was an interview 11 days late. She's getting better at answering but I have no idea why she lists pizza as her least favorite food.

6. What food do you really dislike? Just strawberries and chips (no you like those. what don’t you like. ) I don’t like any dinner food. I just like dessert.
7. What is your favorite TV show?  Ryan 
8. What is your favorite song? Shake it off {She then dances too as she tells me}
9. What is your favorite book? A Ryan book. We could buy it. 
10. What is your favorite thing to wear? Dresses and shirts
11. What makes you happy? dancing

I gave Ella a little interview to give Dave for Father's Day.  I gave it to him but might as well post it here too.

My dad likes to watch on TV (turns and points at the TV says “THAT”  -- MSNBC is on) Mommy: Daddy likes to watch politics - Ella: Yea. Daddy likes to watch politics.

My favorite thing to do with my dad is:  “nothing” (Dave said this is true. They sit there and do nothing together.) I'll note he had a red shirt on last time she saw him.

Ella's Birthday Interview (3.5)

Since we celebrate Ella's half birthday, I figured we'd do her birthday interview at 3.5 too.  I kind of like doing it every 6 month and once Miles can answer questions hope to do it every 6 months for him too.  She never answers all the questions. I just put what she answers here. Each time I ask questions she does answer more. I started asking the questions in order then started jumping around.

Ella's 3rd Birthday Interview

I did an interview when Ella turned 2 1/2 too :)  She didn't answer all the questions I asked and then I quit asking. I did ask them out of order.

3. What is your favorite color?  Red. red like your red shirt (I have on fuschia but I didn't correct her.)
4. What is your favorite food? I don’t know. (What about hamburgers?) ham

7. What is your favorite book? Birthday book (her very hungry caterpillar pop up book she got for her birthday)

9. What makes you sad? I don’t know
10. What is your favorite holiday? Leaf holiday (what’s that?) …

The donut cereal is what she mentioned last time too. I never knew she thought pancakes were dessert. Also donuts cereal for lunch? She must have had those on her brain.

Since we did a half birthday party, I decided to do a birthday questionnaire with Ella now. She didn't make it through all the questions so I'm just posting what she did.  Questions answered on July 1... a little bit after her half birthday.

Some surprised me and some were right on. Too bad she wouldn't finish the interview. She had enough. I did skip around on my original list and didn't ask things in order. The park is her favorite thing that she's always asking to go. She also has so many friends. I'm surprised she didn't even pick some of the friends she saw most recently. Yesterday she gave Nathan kisses and he gave her kisses. Surprised she didn't mention him. Usually she mentions Arya and Susu as a unit since she's always seeing them together. She gets really excited to see Logan and Gavin too.
