12.26

Sweater: VS (worn over athletic tank)
Jeans: Express
Boots: Gifted (but from JCP)

Dave
Pants: Target
T-shirt: Casual Male XL

This is what we both work to McGuinnis Sisters to buy food.

Dave and I stayed in bed until lunch. We watched TV and used our laptops.  Then we watched West Wing and ate lunch.  Then watched In Treatment.  I napped.   We went to McGuinnis Sisters to buy ingredients for a roast and for macaroni and cheese.  We got pizza at McGuinnis Sisters but the lady put on 4x too much cheese on it so it was not good. I had a lot of desserts after because of that.   We watched more In Treatment.

Look how Poly looks at Dave longingly when he is about to go downstairs.
Then I used the exercise bike for 30 minutes and tried to do abs.  Poly did not cooperate. I took a break and figured out how to upload my youtube video then I did abs for real.  I watched The Mentalist and Unforgettable while exercising and then sat in bed.

Poly was tickling my feet. Just looking at the picture makes my feet all ticklish.
I ate all the dirt. It was so good.
I am showing off one of my new pins.

12.2

These red socks have got to be my favorite. I love the outfits I wear with them. I have other socks but they don't go up enough so then these remain my favorite.
Boots: Mudd from Famous Footwear
Socks: Target
Tights: Target
Skirt: Express
Sweater: VS
Necklace: Lia Sophia
Earrings: Target
The key part of the day was the menu planning and I already blogged about that.

I like cookbooks with pictures. If a recipe doesn't have a picture, I ignore it.

December 21 - food and exercise

Shirt: VS
Pants: Express
Belt: Target
Necklace: F21

What didn't work: Apparently my necklace sticks to my shirt and looks weird as shown by a few of these pictures.
You can see my love handles a little. I want to blame it on the shirt or jeans but it is really the cold, my eating, and the exercise duration. (There are studies that say how you burn less calories when it is cold so I used that as an excuse.)

Sometimes I think I might have a problem taking too many pictures of myself or too many pictures in general. Then I think how you can never have too many pictures and I wish I had more things captured so I feel a little bit better.

Sometimes I wonder what other people do with their days. I mean I used to watch a ton of TV and everyone found that shocking. Now I watch a lot of TV and blog a lot and people find that shocking.  I wonder what my friends/coworkers do with their time if what I do is so shocking. Sometimes I think they probably leave the house and think that's fun. They are probably just jealous of all the fun I have reading blogs so they try to do something more fun.  The only bad thing is my exercise duration has drastically decreased. My at home workouts are only about 45 minutes now.

We went grocery shopping but it appears we filled the cart at the first aisle. When you go to the store and buy things and put them in a cart so you can go home and cook with them to eat, do you call it grocery shopping, food shopping, or something else?  I refer to it as grocery shopping as you can tell by a few sentences ago but my husband calls it food shopping. He constantly tells me I'm wrong.
Poly watched me from the top of the fridge the entire time I made peanut butter balls. At one point, I appeared done and so she got down. Once she realized, I was back making them, she was back up on the fridge.
I put the peanut butter balls in the garage to chill. I use my car as a table.
I used the exercise bike, did abs, and lifted weights (upper body). Poly thought she would join me but she couldn't bench press properly

December 13 - Festive

Turtle Neck: VS
Skirt: Express
Tights: Target (footless)
Socks: Target
Boots: Famous Footwear - Mudd
Necklace: Gift (I think the box said JCP)
Belt: Target
Ring: Lia Sophia

This was the first time this season I wore my turtle neck. I think I chose a good combo for wearing socks under the boots for the first time. It was also the first time I wore footless tights.  The tights worked well because they didn't keep falling down at the crotch and I didn't have to pull them so tight. The socks are actually red and gray stripes but I knew the gray would be hidden.   Tights and socks with boots are both still out of my comfort zone but I think they worked out well. Wearing my hair up is also out of my comfort zone.  It all went well together.
The snow adds a lot of character to these pictures. It probably helps make the outfit seem so nice.
Look at my eyeshadow and eyeshadow as eyeliner; I got a compliment on it at work. I thought it's the same that I've been doing it since I got the Sephora eyeshadow but maybe it just went better with my outfit or something.

I also wore my red coat to work. Someone saw me and said "well you won't get lost in the snow."
At lunch someone let me get in front of him in line. He said he wasn't in a hurry and I was festive.  I ran into him later and he even mentioned us as lunch buddies.
I shoveled with Dave before he left for work, then I got ready for work. You could barely tell I shoveled, because it was snowing so hard.  Also note how when we are lazy we just shovel the tire tracks area.
I was in building 6 during lunch time so I had to buy a sandwich again.  Those sandwiches are awful over there. The lunch meat is way too thick.
Also the crust on the sandwich is too hard to chew. I learned my lesson the hard way and I just tear it off to begin with.  Last time I tried to eat it and after 2 bites my jaw was killing me and then my jaw hurt for 2 days.
Before the end of the work day, I look down and see there is already a hole in my socks. I only wore them once.  I think they were made for calves smaller than mine.  One size fits all doesn't really work I guess.  I also had to tug pretty hard to get the socks to stick outside my boots.  Where do you buy your to the knee socks?
(BTW work was so insanely busy almost more than usual)

For anyone keeping track, it was yet another day that I missed exercising.
