My green pants shrunk so now I have to wear them with boots or look silly.

I got donuts in the morning except it was more like 11 am. They didn't have the kind I wanted though. The cashier tried to talk me into 2 dozen donuts. I never had anyone try so hard to talk me into 2 dozen. They didn't even have the kinds I wanted. I was even debating less than a full dozen. The cashier was flirting with me. He said he'd see me tomorrow. Ha. I thought I was looking nice that morning (aka not fat and gutty) and I guess he noticed.
Dave got back from his ski trip and we went to Tia Juana's for dinner. We were away for over a day so we actually had things to talk about.
At the ski trip they gave out capes. Dave got incognito man. He made Poly incognito kitty. She didn't like it very much.
He was exhausted from his trip even though he didn't ski at all. The snowboarding boots wouldn't fit his feet/calves.

I actually showered and got dressed. I still hung out in bed. Staying in bed all day just became too easy.

11.27: Shoe Shopping
Boots: Famous Footwear, Shirt: Limited, Cardigan: Target, Jeans: F21, Necklace: Lia Sophia.
I started my day off right. I didn't waste time. I went shopping. I ended up arriving at DSW just as they were opening. I shopped for an hour and a half looking for boots. That store is huge. Then I went to UPS and the post office. When I got home, I was sure tired.
Then I spent about 3 hours watching TV. Maybe more. I watched TV longer because Poly was so cute cuddled up with me. (Oh boy look how fat my face looks. or maybe look how fat my face is.)
Dave and I met at 5 guys for dinner. We went to Trader Joe's after. Dave discovers new foods there. You have to read what the foods are because the labeling is different than we're used to. He said the cookies taste way better than they have any business doing in a package like that. I already raved about Cookie Butter. I guess I should look around the store more next time to see what else I can discover.
We watched some TV. I pulled out the afghan a little and Poly came right over and napped on it. She loves afghans.
I got dressed so early in the day that I got so exited to take my picture that I took quite a few.

I dressed for fall. I was so hot after I got back home though that I had to put on shorts. I like this outfit more than I thought I would when picking it out.
Jeans, Sweater, and Necklace: F21, Cardigan and Belt: Target, Boots: Famous Footwear
The highlight of my day was the donuts. The old fashioned are my favorite. I eat them weird. I eat the part around the edges that is like a folded part or something. Then I eat the rest of the donut after I've fully circled the donut eating the part that sticks out.

I had trouble sleeping. I was so hot. I woke up once and actually got out of bed. My clothes were soaked from sweat. I guess I had a fever and I guess it broke.
Before work I finally sewed my skirt. It took 2 minutes. I picked out my clothes using the pictures I took when my mom showed me what matched my skirt back on October 1.
Work was so much less stressful than it has been. If all days were like this, it would be a lot better. I only had a meeting in the morning. I was able to be productive at my desk. I also left "early" to go run with Jen.
I ate a Chick-fil-a salad for dinner. We watched Big Bang Theory and American Idol. Then we watched MSNBC.
I made a new blog banner. It is different than my old one but I want to make something else. I want to get rid of the clothes background. I'll do that next. I want it more streamlined with words and just 1 picture on the side. It took me 6 months to change my banner this time around so who knows when I'll actually get to the rest.
I realized my running excel file is missing so much data. I'm only 1 month into 2012 too.
I want to have more time to do things with my life but I don't want to cut out anything that I do now. It doesn't work that way though. I just need to get more efficient with everything. I thought I'd only crop one picture above and label the picture, but since I was rusty at it, it took longer than my normal routine.

Jen had my camera so I had to use my crappy camera for these.
Boots: Famous Footwear
Skirt: Loft
Cardigan: Target
Cami: Express
Necklace: Kohl's
I worked...until 7. I was going to go to Steph's gym at 6 for Body Pump. When I missed that I was going to go run.
After work I was going to go to the gym to run but knew I had to get to JoAnn Fabrics one of these days to return the 3 punches I bought that don't work so I did that. So I returned them and told the lady why then she just stuck them in the normal return bin where they put the stuff back in the shelves. I think that's what the bin was for anyway based on the labeling.
I picked up panera after and they were out of the bread Dave wanted his sandwich on. I got the group soup thing which I think is supposed to feed 3 or 4. Then I went to Giant Eagle for some eggs, milk, and bread. That was all I bought. I bought the eggs to do some baking but by the time I got home and ate it was after 9pm and thus bedtime. I still had to get the cards ready for the people who got to-go packets for my Christmas card class. It was a challenge with Poly in my way. I also wanted to clean up the room but I never got to that.

Sweater: Kohl's (2006), Skirt: The Limited, Boots: Famous Footwear (January 2011), Necklace: Lia Sophia, Earrings: Target
This skirt is a little big in the hips now. In the middle picture you can see the extra fabric poking out at the hips. This was one of the skirts I bought after putting on a few pounds and now I'm down those few pounds so it's slightly big. It still works though and at least now most of my 8 pairs of jeans fit again.
I was so tired that I kept hitting snooze so my day started off later than anticipated (but still not too late).
The morning flew by and then Dave and I walked 2.4 miles at lunch. In the afternoon, I dealt with some stuff at work that wasn't cool. Since when do I make a decision on a whim? (I may have mentioned to some people how there have been multiple times that I've left the house with Dave to head somewhere and he wanted to change that and I couldn't handle the sudden change. My stomach had gotten upset. If that isn't the opposite of being able to decide things on a whim I don't know what is. Also I can never even decide where to eat dinner because I'm awful at just deciding.) Since when is being realistic being negative. If 4 people are RSVPed for an event that we need 40 on then there should be some alternative being thought up and you should NOT loose $1000 and hold it anyway. That is just ridiculous. Apparently I'm the crazy one.
After work it was off to Body Pump. It was a pretty full class. Studio Fit is getting more and more business, which is good. After Body Pump, I came home and cooked vegetables and mashed potatoes while Dave cooked steak. I ate while watched Whitney and then How I Met Your Mother. It felt like bed time when that was done, but I still had to plan for my Stampin' Up class. I had to finish cutting all the supplies. I did not cut them all in advance just in case not everyone showed up to the class on Saturday, I just didn't want to have a ton of extra supplies cut. Everyone showed up on Saturday which was good but then that meant I had a lot more supplies to cut. Since I wasn't done cutting, I added 1 person to my class list. So that meant some of the cards that I did cut everything for I was now short. Poly was all up in my grill when I was trying to cut the rest of the supplies.

January 6
Sweater: Express (2006)
Skirt: Loft (2009)
Boots: Famous Footwear (2010)
Tights: Target
Necklace/Earrings Set: Target
I did the top knot again. I realized if I try to make the bun counter-clockwise it was awful but changing it to clockwise worked well.
I think my outfit had too much brown. It was like the time I thought I should be riding a horse. I don't know why I keep doing it since I don't really like it.
I was so involved in my work that I didn't even realize it snowed 2 inches until I got out of the building and had to walk to my car. What a day to forget my gloves.
Poly tries to walk behind my monitors and then climb over my speaker to get to the front of my desk. She sometimes knocks the speaker off but she is getting better.
Update: I forgot to mention some stuff. I was busy at work so I didn't get to go to Body Pump. Actually someone was late for a 1 hour meeting by 70 minutes which made that meeting go really long and I missed pump. The previous night was actually my first night I was able to sleep so I didn't go to pump in the morning.

My VS order arrived (1/20/11)
It was 6 days early. The orders always are. I never follow-up after my order so I'm always surprised when it shows up.
Now I have a body suit so my shirt can stay tucked in. But it is tight in the sleeves. I am really not sure if I should send this back. I mean I won't send it back but it is something I wish I would. It is an XS and I bought a Small button down from VS before and it was huge so I went with small this time.
Also note the bodysuit is black on the model. It is white on mine. The reds don't look the same either.
Eep I just looked it up... 32 bucks. Now I really think it is not worth it. My arms won't get shorter for this to fit better.
Here is my hacked lace. You don't get to see it on me because I didn't have a cami downstairs when I did my modeling. $19 XS. This is tight in the arms but I think I had it twisted because after I worked with it to rotate what was at my wrist about 90 degrees it fit much better. I would remove my gowear fit to wear it because that is also where it was tight. But still I was hacked so it makes me not like this as much.
I have noticed I really love some VS stuff and really don't like other stuff. It is always hard for me to figure out everything I want to order. It all is always so different than what it looks like online or in a catalog. But then the stuff I really like, I like better than anything I get anywhere else. (I just typed stove instead of stuff in that sentence. I'm hungry.)
Do you ever order from Victoria's Secret? How do you like their clothes?
Updated to add the picture of the heel that I took and forgot to include.
Every time* I buy something lace from them, I am hacked. The pictures don't look so lacey and I buy it and boy is it. Also every time I get hacked and buy the same color. Both things are teal.
Every time = this time and one other time.
Now I own plaid. I like it better on me than the model. 14.99 XS (The 2 plaids were on sale 5 bucks less but they were all out of the blue/red one.)

The entire reason for my VS order was for more yoga pants. Yoga pants at 14.99 instead of 29. They only had one color in my size. I only bought one of it. They fit like the rest of my yoga pants but they are a different brand. Small 36" inseam.
So I always want boots. I can never find boots. The models for VS have freaking skinny legs so I thought I might test the waters and order boots. I 99% figured I'd have to send them back. I was wrong. Size 10. $39.99. I really only ordered these because if you spend $100 you got free shipping. I spent hours deciding what to get to take me over $100.I have noticed I really love some VS stuff and really don't like other stuff. December 22 - Cleaned and an allergy shot
Shirt, Pants: Express
Boots: Famous Footwear
Cami: Kmart (I think)
Necklace: Walmart
Coat (Shown below): NY&Co.
This is the first time I wore boots with pants. These pants are boot cut so it was hard to tuck them in. I now have plans to use my sewing machine and try to work my magic. The pants are a little big in the waist. I got them in 2004 or earlier. I felt like I should be off riding a horse or something.
What worked: the idea of boots over pants
My room was a mess. I spent 45 minutes cleaning it and you couldn't tell at all. Above are some before pictures. There wasn't much change for the after 45 minutes once.
Poly enjoyed some bag time.
We made cherry pepper poppers or whatever they are. I never like them. Cheese wrapped in prosciutto in a cherry pepper.

I only got dressed because I had to get an allergy shot. The allergy shot was the worst. About 20 minutes after the shot, I start feeling like I have sever allergies. I can barely drive home I'm sneezing so much and my nose is dripping. My nose ends up raw before I can even get home. Then functioning the rest of the night is out of the question. Good thing I went to get my allergy shot in the evening. Bad thing that I planned to exercise after. So allergy shot day = rest day.
