Shoes: Sears (4.99)
Shirt and Skirt: Macy's
Cardigan and Belt: Target
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
I got to work early but not as early as I wanted to. I was so busy at work and had so many meetings that I didn't get to walk with Dave at lunch. Paulo actually got him to join the gym. They used the elliptical together. It only took a few years of me saying he should join and a few months of Paulo saying it.
After he got back I had 10 minutes to spare so I went to Dave's cube to eat. I didn't eat as much as I wanted but just a quick bite.
I was back to the grind doing a million things. I didn't end up leaving work until 7. I worked over 11 hours. What fun.
My report passed at CARB with 0 comments. My report went to the peer reviewer and only had 4 comments. Usually CARB has minimum of a dozen and a peer reviewer has had upwards of 80 in the past. I got compliments on my good writing and how everything was easy to follow. Since I did so well, they tried to assign me more work to do another one. Yea right.
I picked up On the Border on the way home. We watched TV while eating, then watched more TV and we both fell asleep downstairs by 10pm.

Yellow - April 7
Necklace - February 28, 2009 - $8
Cardigan - October 1, 2010 - $18
Shirt - October 8, 2010 - $19.98
Skirt - October 8, 2010 - 34.50
Tights - October 1, 2010 - $10
Shoes - Before March 2010 - $4.99 (I can't remember the date I bought these. I know I was with Brie. I bought these and another pair of shoes for 9.99. Brie got a pair of shoes too for cheap.) update: It was March 6, 2010
I did not belt the cardigan and I wore brown tights so that my outfit would not look too similar to the orange rotation a week before. I still think it looks too similar. What's your verdict?
Poly cuddles up with me in so many ways when I'm sleeping. She was on my chest but I wanted to turn so I disrupted her so then she went and slept by my legs.
I worked late. I had major computer issues. I ran with a coworker. We ran 2 loops at work. I forgot my garmin so I had to run the old fashioned way (you know using the timer on my iPhone). We ran 3.8 miles with 9:24 pace. We started out a lot quicker and maybe 1.5 miles in my knee started to bug me so we slowed up. I did a lot of comparing form last year. I would do 2 loops with a time of 2 minutes faster. Oh well.

30 for 30 Outfit 17: Wednesday, November 24, 2010
Shirt: Macy's
Cardigan: Target
Skirt: Macy's
Boots: Famous Footwear
Belt: Target
Tights: Target
Necklace: F21
I have worn this exact outfit before. I did not get creative but this outfit is the reason these 4 things are in the 30 for 30.![]() |

I worked. I worked out twice at lunch. Well 3 times if you count chiseled core. I ate lunch before the workouts. Then I ate lunch again. I was still hungry. I had to go pick up my car by 5 so I had to leave work a little earlier than normal. I stopped at McGuinnis Sisters on the way home for some appetizers and some desserts. It took 15 minutes to get from work to McGuinnis Sisters. It should take 5. It was packed so running in for a couple things took longer than normal. Then it took 20 minutes to get home instead of 10. I got my car inspected, an oil change, and snow tires put on. My inspection was January but you can get it 2 months early. Well they don't give me my tires back. I have to go in and ask. Then my new inspection sticker says November and not January. Apparently they don't have to continue to give you your old month if it doesn't match registration. But see inspection never matched registration since I got my car. Cars older than mine by a few years match but then the state didn't make them match so when you bought your car, it wasn't freshly inspected.

30 for 30 Outfit 6: Saturday, 11/13/10
Cardigan: NY&Co.
Sleeveless shirt: Macy's
Skirt: Macy's
Tights: Target (premium ones. they are the best of the 6 pairs I've tried)
Boots: Famous Footwear.
Necklace: Forever 21
When I was picking out my 30 for 30 I asked my husband if this cardigan went with this skirt. They are both neutrals so I assumed it was a no brainer that they went. Well he said they didn't go. Well I didn't believe him.
This is the most comfortable way to wear tights for me and it is still out of my comfort zone. Perhaps because boots are slightly out of my comfort zone too.
Saturday started off with a Stampin' Up class that lasted 3.5 hours. Guests told me I looked nice. I think to them I looked extra nice since the last time I had a class on a Saturday, I was still in my yoga pants.
Then I read some blogs and did some things around the house.
At 5:00, a bunch of us (11) went to the Hofbauhaus. It was fun to see people I normally don't see but it was miserable because the music was too loud and we were right there by the speaker. I had a headache and I hurt from yelling so the person could hear me that was beside me. I think this is a sign that I'm old.
Dave hated it so bad that when we were about to leave, he went to the restroom, and right after that he headed to the bookstore. They were having a going out of business sale so then he went to Goodwill. I don't think he's ever been to a Goodwill since I've known him. Then I had lots of issues finding him and getting to the car. Also leaving, I didn't know how to get out of the garage and get back to where I needed to go and he said that was my problem. Note in the picture he refused to smile.
Don't get used to these photoshopped pictures. Photoshop has sucked the time out of my weekend. I won't have the luxury of the extra time during the week. If I take more pictures, I edit more pictures, and then I have to choose between way too many pictures. I should go back to taking 2-4 pictures and posting them all.

Day 26 - Yellow (10.26.10)
Shirt: Macy's (10/8/10)
Cardigan: Target (10/1/10)
Skirt: Macy's (10/8/10)
Boots: Famous Footwear (9/21/10)
Tights: Target (10/1/10)
Belt: Target (8/10)
Necklace: Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe. I forget. I have had this necklace for 1.5 years and never wore it. (2/28/2009)

Out of comfort zone items: Tights, Belt outside of cardigan, and Necklace
Tights because I never wear them and am 90% scared of them
Belt outside of cardigan because I had only done that a couple times before (OK maybe only once) and today was the first time I tied the belt in a little knot.
Necklace because I had it so long and the length is awkward on most shirts and I didn't know if it matched my outfit when I wore it. After I got to work, I emailed a picture to Nicole and she told me it was OK so then I felt better about the rest of my day.
Also boots are still half out of my comfort zone. They used to be out of it. They also were definitely out of it for work. Who knew I did so many things in one day.
I believe I'm getting better at buying and trying to do things out of my comfort zone. Pretty soon they will be my comfort zone and then I'll have to branch out even more. Scary.
I got up early and did my hair. I used a mixture of Kendi's and Sydney's hair tutorials and a mixture of what I always do. OK I did what I always do except I used sculpting gel for the first time. My mom gave it to me. I would have used it anyway.
And I started near the middle instead of pulling the curling iron closer to the edges.
And I didn't allow myself to even brush it just once.
The bad part was by the time I was done with the left side, the right side was already flat. I quickly sprayed the left and had to re-curl the right. I quickly sprayed it and took pictures before it fell out. By halfway through the day, it only looked like I curled the ends of my hair.
It took 20 minutes to curl, but I showered in the morning to use the sculpting gel so then I had to dry it completely so I think it added 30 minutes to getting ready in the morning. Is it worth it? I like my hair like this. My husband does not. He likes tight curls like when I had a perm (like in 2005).
I worked then I went to body combat and chiseled core. Man that was rough. It was a new release for me for Body Combat. Then I hadn't been to a chiseled core class in ages.
The workout was so rough that my hair didn't stay up. I refixed my ponytail about 8 times.
After dinner, I watched TV and had a friend. Poly sometimes likes me.
She even hung out under my feet.
After taking pictures of my shoes I took pictures of Poly. The pictures of the shoes were for my guest post about shoes.
