#mbfa March 2021

I did #mbfa after completing 2 rounds of #mbf. I did injure my hip so had some mobility issues. But I shocked myself how strong I got. I could go heavier on weights than I did in September when I did this program the last time because I own heavier weights now. But I definitely went even heavier than I would have the last time.

I didn't write about each day as I did it. I did it with Beth. We both took 3.5 weeks to complete it on purpose. We both wanted to run a longer run on the weekend but not have to double up.  I would talk about it daily with her and I didn't type about it. I was part of challenge groups but I didn't even check in more than a couple times. I just can't bring myself to spend the time. I started recording some videos in a normal speed to look at form but then I'd spend too long looking or compiling videos.  I decided it wasn't worth it.

Last time I had to modify the side and front sit throughs. This time I was able to do them most of the time.

3/3/21 instastories

These kids are always waking up too early. I don't take the pic right away and it's still too early.  I packed 4 containers of snacks all at once to make the rest of the week easier. Liam just climbed right up on the island. He was super excited about the jade plant clippings. I attempted to drink my shake at the same time. Ella had to take a photo for the yearbook. We took many before she decided one was good enough.  I tried so hard to drink my energize fast.  I didn't make it in one go but still drank it fast for me since most days it takes about an hour.   Then I did day 20 of #mbf. I did some additional exercises for my hip since it started bothering me. I went upstairs to put in laundry and make the bed and Liam came up covered in cheese with a bowl of cheese curls. Liam thought the entire container of cheese curls was his.  I had a favorite for lunch: Trader Joe's macaroni and cheese and steamed broccoli. Ella liked the broccoli.

I took a picture of Ella sitting on my lap and thought we looked more like than we have in the past. (It may look like we are happy but school was a real struggle and I was rubbing her back to get her to work.)

We went to school to do a packet pick-up. Then we went a tiny bit out of the way to pick up some pinecones so we can paint. Liam held the bag on the way home since it wouldn't fit under the stroller.

Liam pulled out the kid snow shovel and shoveled the driveway for 20 minutes or more.

Dave played video games and it had some setting so Miles got to play too. Liam enjoyed watching while he was still eating.

Then I spent forever finishing my photobook for a super sale. I just ended up having to pay shipping since I didn't order enough for free shipping! (They had extended the sale for 3 days. I ordered one at almost midnight the night of the end of the first sale and then I finished a 2nd photobook at the end of the extension.  I keep getting really far in photobooks then never finishing them. )

2/15/21 instastories

Liam slept in. (He didn't through the night but slept in.) I walk in and see he has a dart gun. I don't even know how he got that in his crib.  Liam is begging Miles to share his egg.  Liam gets a laundry basket to use as a step stool to "make popcorn" but the stove wasn't on. Now that Liam has his own egg he's sharing with Miles since Miles shared with him.  Liam doesn't like my off the shoulder shirt. Liam got Dave's jalapeƱo pretzels. He got one out then tried to give it to me. I could barely handle how spicy it smelled. I of course didn't eat it.  Liam played in the rain and got soaked twice.  I had such a good workout.  It did take 2 hours to even start it with all the kid delays.  Mountain Climbers didn't suck as bad. I got 92 mountain climbers in 40 seconds. Last time I did 75.  This fire pit is not a toy but Liam thinks it is.

Miles worked on riding a bike. The bike wouldn't pedal right so he couldn't ride it so he got discouraged. We tried another but the seat was just a tad too high and so he gave up. He was discouraged but I said it was not his fault. Then we went for a run/bike ride with his old small balance bike.

The starving kids wanted food so I made a snack tray. They liked it.

I cleaned. I spent sooo long cleaning up everything but didn't take any time lapse videos.

1/24/21 instastories

We went on an adventure. It took us over an hour to leave the house from when I started to get ready. Then we had to go to the super charger and that took forever.  Miles was so happy. He was excited to hike up a mountain. Hills with a stroller are hard. It was hard to push the stroller up and also hard to hold the stroller back when going downhill. We did not go to the top. The kids weren't happy.  I asked Miles to take my picture. He got his finger in every shot. We turned around at a good spot to overlook a lot.

We came home to 2 bags of hand me downs. The kids loved going through it.  After nap we used the swing set. It was cold and sprinkling. I decided to do a workout instead of cleaning up the kitchen. Poly was in my way a lot in the workout.

Cleaning 1.18.21

I spent far too long cleaning far too late at night. I was so tired. I wanted to lie down. But I had to clean up this mess.

1/8/21 instastories

I didn't take pictures or videos right away after waking up. My first video was of Liam nicely playing with Legos. I tried to workout when Dave was on a walk with Liam but I didn't even get to start until after he was back. Liam walks in the room and immediately turns on the fan. He did a lot of working out. He was mad that he only had one dumbell when he was supposed to use 2. He turned off the power strip a lot so it turned off the fan and ring light.  He was cute on the yoga mat at the end. He found my energize and started to drink it.

Miles wanted a snack then got so cute with it. Well at first he started eating cheetos on his own. I don't have pictures of that but then he was eating party mix. I got good pics of that.  After lunch Liam seemed tired. Then when I said it was naptime he went and hid in his tent.  Liam napped quickly and then I scanned all my Christmas cards. (Now I have 2019 and 2020 scanned and in google photos albums.)

Ella spent her recess, lunch, and after school making perler beads of Gio's family. I'm impressed.  I was about to do more stuff and then Liam woke up. When Ella gets Liam out of the crib, it seems to be the only time he willingly hugs her.  I told Ella to work on Zern and Liam used her laptop.

Cooking dinner was so hard. Liam was getting into everything and also getting awfully close to the hot stove.

My Flex Bet has people dropping so I'm up to 6.64 and it's only week 5 of 6. (I'm in another one ending in a couple days that is only making 4.48 so far.

I was low on steps so I went for another run. It was a warmer 49 degree run.  My shins are definitely hurting. I specifically did intervals today to compare my pace. It was basically the same as the last few days where I ran straight through. (Basically the same. The distances came out slightly different even though I ran the same route so it's not 100% comparison. I actually edited the distance since it ended .07 shorter than the last week so I made it a little closer to the distance it has been.

I noticed Garmin has records and mine are from so long ago!

Miles came out of his room up and so wide awake. Then later came to my room again. I had trouble sleeping. Then Liam woke up. I was up until 2 because of the kids.

I did my 2020 top 9 so then I shared my old ones too. I like that the new one shows how many likes you got.  I wish they did it on facebook and not just instagram.

10 Rounds (September - October 2020)

I completed 10 Rounds. I took some notes as I went. I was going to have notes on everyday but of course I didn't and now it was months ago. I made a playlist of the videos.

I had trouble fully taking the weekend off so on Sunday I did Week 2 day 1 and got a day ahead.

I had trouble doing the rolls? slips? (2nd one we learned)

Day 3 It took me 51 minutes to do a 38 minute workout. So many interruptions. My core felt this workout. Ella briefly joined me. Week 2

Day 3 I had trouble getting round 8 combo.

Day 4 I had a very long break in the middle. I had to take Miles to school. My back hurt a bit so I dropped my weights. I also tried to do 8 min of planks in 2 days to hit my monthly goals so I was fatigued.

Day 5 - 39 minute workout took me 53 minutes. Liam was not cooperating. He made me hold him.  He screamed at my legs a bit so I didn't take the steps. Some combinations I get down and other ones I throw the wrong punch or slip the wrong way.

Week 3

Day 1 - The workout went so quick. Finally we moved forward and back and to the side. But it also felt kind of boring without a lot of punches. It was less confusing with fewer punches than normal. There was also 90 second burnout round. Longer than normal. I had PT almost immediately after and then I ran at PT. I still felt like I could keep going. I did take energize though.

Day 2 - I did this on the weekend before Day 1. My butt was sore almost right away.  It went by pretty quick.

Day 3 - I had to go outside every 2 rounds or so to push Liam on the swing and get Ella to stop pushing him and do her school work. I was distracted with the kids so stepped the wrong way sometimes. I think I did the 45 degree step wrong on round 2 but maybe more. While you are turned at 45 degrees and 90 you aren't watching the screen so then it makes it tough to actually realize you were wrong.

Day 4

Day 5 - I felt like my legs were so tired. This felt like the hardest workout yet.

12/18/20 instastories

I've been so behind posting that I had to make up type and posted fewer things and didn't add much text.

Miles had 3 eggs for breakfast. He helped cook them.  I was working on labeling the ornaments and Liam knocked them over. (He also lost my sharipe.)   Ella's tooth got wiggly. It wasn't even lose. She was trying to open a box of cards with her mouth and her tooth got loose. This was near 10 am. (I took a picture when it first got loose and didn't post it to instagram.)   I worked on filling hand sanitizer bottles and labeling them. Liam helped. He picked every color for each person's bottle. He also threw things on the floor a lot.  Ella lost her tooth!!! She did this while I was fixing the freezer so I had the drawer out. Liam took the opportunity to try to get out pancakes and ice cream.  Ella then explained how she lost it and she thought she was chewing something hard and then she realized it was her tooth and not a hard marshmallow.

We went and looked at Christmas lights. We didn't actually see much. We got McD's but the first one we went to was closed. I also dropped off 3 small presents to 3 different families.  We got krispy kreme. The fresh donuts were great. The donut holes suck.

Dave got Ella started playing minecraft on the 17th. She's so happy and loves playing. She played before school. She played right when she got home. At lunch time she played with Dave.

Dave's game was updating and it was sitting there and Liam took it upon himself to use the controller and do stuff to the screen.
I tried to get Liam to go to bed. It was late. He was too into Dave's game.

Liam helped unload the dishwasher. He did the entire bottom. He did chip a plate.

11/20/20 instastories

My slept in bun isn't that bad. Brushing and doing my hair is a challenge. Miles, Liam, and I played so many games. Liam lost so many pieces of games though. Dave got school lunch and they had extra stuff to cover the weekend. Liam likes to use the ipad. He puts on headphones around his neck thinking that's how it's done. He's always so proud of himself. Folding laundry sucks with my arm. I decided to time lapse record my attempts. It was annoying. Then it got worse when I had to hold Liam.   Liam likes to stand up on his chair at the table instead of just sitting at it. 4 connect pieces are missing from today.   My bun is so messed up by the end of the day. I tried to take a picture of my elbow. I couldn't seem to get it in focus but it was at least something. 1 more active day and I complete another step bet. This one I'll make about 8 bucks. (I initially picked recovery and maintainer games instead of increased goals because my hip was bad. That got better and my arm got worse.)

10/20/20 instastories

We had a rough night again. 3 hours awake again! I Fed him a snack. Miles tried to block Liam to go around the couch the other day. Liam's legs seem so long in the stroller.  Liam enjoys the swing.  I put my hair in a bun on time lapse.  I took energize to combat no sleep. Dave ordered a ton of snacks. I had a lot of issues using the mandoline to cut potatoes for fries. I got school lunches for the kids. They don't like them that much any of the days anymore. Liam napped so I got to do my workout. He woke up just as I finished so I didn't cooldown but still great timing.   (The workout videos seem to have uploaded in the wrong order.) Liam discovered an unlocked cabinet. Liam wanted to make perler beads.  Miles and Liam got soaked at the water table. Liam ran away when I was changing his clothes to go give Miles hugs. Miles helped prepare dinner. Then Liam tried to help. Miles loves his afghans my mom made. After everyone was asleep I used the elliptical to get another power day since I was so close. It feels so good to have it out of the way so early in the week.

9/23/20 instastories

Liam woke up too early again. I tried out new filters and they are so dark. I kept trying to find new ones with a date and time on them. I like the first video to have date/time so later when I see a compiled video I know what it is for.  It is far too early in the morning. Liam makes a mess with his books and then wanted to read. It's pretty dark so the pictures are dark. Miles woke up and wanted to read too. Liam kept hitting miles and pushing him away. I was recording a video and later counted. Liam hit/pushed Miles 8 times. Then Miles hit him. I had to change the sheets since Liam spilled medicine he opened in the crib.  Liam and Miles get along so well.   I did some learning with Miles. Liam is upset I put milk in his cereal. My tire pressure is low. I did my workout with interruptions 51 minutes to do a 38 min workout. Liam fell asleep on his walk with Dave. I was about to shower but Liam woke up. We went to pick up school lunches. Ella biked holding the bag and also biked with her legs out to the side. I could not keep up. She got home way before me.

Liam loves to play outside. Ella reads semi spinning and then Liam tries to read. Liam makes a huge mess. He dumps so much stuff out. He learned how to open the tub door and turn on the water. He's happy with himself. Liam found marshmallows in the pantry. I pushed Liam on the swing. He wasn't whining there. We also walked up and down the driveway. Liam was asleep early for the night. Miles was playing Mario Kart today. I tried to figure out how to turn it on. I had to get Dave.  Later I also couldn't figure out how to turn the thing off. Eventually I got it. I guess I'm so old I can't handle electronics.

I'm in week 6 of 6 of my step bet!

(You may wonder why I skip around so much with these. It is because I cannot get most of them to upload to youtube.)

#mbfa

After I did 2 rounds of muscle burns fat I did advanced.

The workouts were a little bit longer. But they are more challenging. For the most part I like it but then some moves I just can't do. My hip won't let me do some moves on my right leg. My left shoulder doesn't like to support me for some stuff. Sit-ups are a little rough.  The workouts might be 10-15 minutes longer than the last program but that 10 minutes ends up being 20-40 minutes longer with all the interruptions. It's just too long for Liam.

Instead of linking each video, I just made a youtube playlist

Here's Day 1.  I tended to caption the workouts more on the instastories for the day.
Day 1 - I upped my weights before the last set twice. Balance is hard work. #mbfa is so much harder than #mbf.

Day 2 - wow this is no joke. It is so tough. I had to stop the workout before I was done because Liam was awake and I had to do a televisit with the doctor.  I did the AMRAP with Liam around. He is crying and making it difficult. Lateral jump is hard when adding 25 lb. I just wanted to get through 4 minutes except I realized it was 6 minutes. Liam knocked over some stuff.  I made it 2.5 minutes. I attempted again and used a cookie to distract Liam. Adding 2 minutes seems so much harder. It's also more boring. I also have more trouble keeping track of how many I did.  Having a Megan Minute was pretty tough.

Day 3. It wasn't so bad but tricep push-ups are hard. The entire workout isn't on video.

Day 4 - Ella joined me for a lot of the workout. The core work was tough. On the AMRAP I forgot how to do the skipping lunge. I couldn't believe how I couldn't figure out how to do the skip but during the workout I did fine.  I almost finished 13 rounds. It was so close.

Day 5 - (9/5) Dave took the kids for a walk. I got right to my workout. I liked it. They came back with minutes left in the workout.

Day 6 - I had to get everyone to bed before I got to my workout. I hate late at night workouts. I get too pumped up. It was an intense 25 minute workout.

Day 7 I had to do Day 7 on Friday because my hip was so so so so so bad from PT. I definitely couldn' stretch as much as I thought I would be able to. Ella also joined me for most of it.

Day 8 (9/7) Liam woke up before I was done. I didn't stretch before I went to Liam and my legs were cramping in his chair.  I finished and then did 1 exercise they told me to do at PT.

Day 9 - I improved my AMRAP from 6.8 to 8.2. I still have to modify the first move since I cant jump lunge. I cannot wait until my hip is better.

Day 10 - I increased my weights. I felt so strong after the workout. I got Liam to nap and tried to do my 37 min workout.  It took me 62 min to complete it. Ella

Day 11 - It took me a few hours to even start my workout. For the most part the kids left me alone. It only took me 40 minutes to complete the 37 minute workout. During the week, it has taken me over an hour and a half and sometimes I have had to stop and come back hours later.  I did not have to modify the move jumping from 1 foot to 2 feet to back to 1 foot. Last time I had to modify if I was landing solo on my right foot.  I don't stop between every round to mark it down like she says. But when I did stop, the round right after it was actually faster. I'm glad after this week we will be done with the side sit-throughs. I just can't do those with the pressure on my shoulder.  I beat last week's AMRAP.

Day 12 I used the ipad as the baby monitor so I was sure it worked. Miles joined me and then made us workout more after.

Day 13. I was short on time so I did it early. 12 minute shorter workout was needed. Wow was a lot of it hard. I had to modify because of my shoulder and hip. I couldn't jump for lunges, I stepped and still did them all. I couldn't support enough weight on my left shoulder for the side sit-throughs. I stepped on the burpee and did the loaded beast push-up on my knees. It seems like I had to modify a lot with this workout. As Megan always says modifying isn't less than but it still feels like it. Maybe some day I'll do this again when I don't have injuries.  My left shoulder has been bothering me a month but it's not that bad. My hip is getting a lot better.

Day 14 (I did Day 14 early since it was already 9:30 PM on Friday. I didn't want to get super sweaty and wound up. Also earlier in the day I wasn't feeling well from the smoke smell.) I really don't like the recovery day workout for mbfa. The one from mbf was so amazing for me that I had really high standards. The mbf was the best recovery workout from any workout program I ever did. It really helped my injury and problem areas instead of just doing it to check off a box.

Day 15 - I did it 1 day late because PT did a number on my hip. I still had some issues when I did it. My hip is bruised from her massage.  It was hard to balance on my right leg because of my hip and the balancing on my left was a lot better.  My back was dripping sweat when the workout was over.  The 40 minute workout only took 44 minutes. That's so minimal for delays compared to normal.

Day 16 - I opened the sliding glass door for fresh air since the air finally wasn't smoky. Ella did a bunch of the workout with me. The 37 minute workout took me 1:10 to complete!

Day 17 - I went to workout and Liam woke so I turned it off and then Liam fell asleep again. But then he woke up in the middle of the warmup so I stopped.  The he went to sleep. I started. Ella messed up my recording. He woke up. Then I finished my workout. I did upper body since I already did leg stuff at PT.  Liam played with the fan. Tricep push-ups were so hard.

Day 18 - My hip hurt so bad when I was about to start the workout. I took Advil and delayed starting. I modified half the jumping moves since Colleen at PT told me not to do jumping yet. By the end of the workout I felt pretty good.

Day 19 - I started my workout and Liam woke up.I finished it 8 hours later when the kids were in bed.

Day 20 -  She made the moves harder but I couldn't do them with my shoulder or hip so then I ended up modifying to easier than they were in the past. the loaded burpee push-ups were ridiculous.

Day 21. I did the recovery a few days late. I really was not a fan of this recovery. I just dreaded doing it but didn't want to skip. I liked #mbf recovery so much better.

I didn't do the workouts in order.

8/29/20 instastories

Liam woke up way too early. I drank Energize and Ella wanted to pose with it.  Liam used something that was not a step stool as one. I told him it wasn't a step stool and seconds later he fell. Ella was coloring Miles's cape that he got in 2019 for his birthday.  Liam helped himself to some donuts. I came downstairs and asked the kids what they were up to. Ella says nothing. Miles corrects Ella and says that aren't up to nothing. I cleaned up while drinking my energize. Ella has been making so many little clay things. I did my workout. Liam woke up before I was done with my workout. Then he slept on me for 2 hours. I wanted to shower but I let him sleep on me. My google storage is almost full. I just upgraded instead of trying to figure out what to delete. I decided to do a second workout.  Miles likes to use the elliptical even though he's so little. I took a picture of my August calendar to show how I document my workouts. I also use a spreadsheet. I finally showered and then I put on a dress. I then put in laundry. I didn't have enough clean shorts so I went fancy and did laundry. Miles liked my shoes because they were white. Ella was shocked about my dress.  I made the collage comparing Liam and Miles that I posted about already

8/11/20 instastories

My hair is longer than I thought. I looked at it before putting it up in a bun. My ankle still has a bulge. I've had it since I sprained it (2 weeks ago).  Liam got the remote out and turned on the TV.  Liam was trying to open the refrigerator himself. He was hungry. He found a snack himself. Luckily ti didn't come open or he'd have made a mess.  Liam sits on the step stool to play with the toilet.  Liam tries to get into everything. Ella is organizing and setting up her table for school.  Miles can be so tall standing on the car seat in the car. Miles helped clean off the table and cook. Miles wanted to eat as a family and Dave likes to eat in the dining room so we all ate in the dining room. We were very spread out.  Our living room is a mess from all the new hand me downs we got that I still have to go through and organizing.  Liam picked tomatoes.  He was so happy and proud.   I did my workout late at night.

8/18/20 instastories

There's a good caption from an instagram post that I shared. Here's the link to it.

Liam slept all night. I wore my new workout capris. I bought the same brand as shorts I recently got. They are great. I bought 2 other pairs that were in the $16 range versus $21 and these are clearly better.  (I'm wearing a large.)  I actually took a video of when the house is at it's cleaner state versus the super super disaster I usually show.  I took my energize and tried to do a workout while Dave had Liam and Miles on a walk. I really loved my new pants. I got interrupted many times. I also didn't get the workout done before Liam got back. He was back so long that he was mad. I used him as a weight.  Dave and Miles are learning to read.  Dave is starting to drink shakeology for breakfast.  Liam and I tried to hang out outside but it didn't last long before Ella needed help.  I set Ella up with a 2nd computer so that she can watch the zoom with screen share and do it at the same time. A 6 year old is too young to be able to memorize lots of steps and then go figure it out after. I'm also too old for that so then it's hard to help. I had to stay close to Ella and I got Liam to nap in the crib so I did a 2nd workout.  Liam woke up just after I was done.

Liam face planted.  10 minutes later, Miles face planted. Liam and Miles watched Dave play video games.

I made a comparison video of using the BOD ropes.

8/13/20 instastories

I wanted to wake Ella up again and Liam wanted to go in her bed so I sent him up.  He did drop the car down.  He went a little crazy just curled up in a ball.  Liam likes to walk holding my hand. When there is tan bark on the sidewalk he has to bend and pick it up and move it. I took video of myself making the bed. I am not fancy. It doesn't look amazing. There are a million pillows. But it looks nicer. Yet I have only made the bed 38 times this entire year. This is actually a little different because the past week I stopped using my weighted blanket (That I had under the comforter) and brought back and afghan. I think the blanket was contributing to a lot of my pains. Liam and I went to Costco.  I gave Liam ice cream cake. I had to make room in the freezer and the cake container took up so much room. Liam liked it but didn't eat it all. I got Liam in the crib and I skipped ahead to do the stretching workout. My right hip and both shoulders are bothering me. Oh my tomorrow it will be hot.  Liam loves to play piano. Costco tacos for dinner.  Miles, Liam, and I played outside.  Our pepper plant is getting peppers. Liam climbs up and down on the bench. Liam did not want to go inside but it became bed time.

#mbf Week 3

Week 3 took a long time to complete because I sprained my ankle again in the middle of it.

Day 15

I went for a long run for me and then a little bit after did this workout.

Day 16

This was my first cardio workout with the BOD ropes since I did 2 full weeks before they showed up. I modified some jumping because of my ankle. The hop scotch one was so hard to jump and hop and even harder to mix in the BOD ropes.  I have so much trouble counting to 4 for each move. I wrote down tallies every 2 even though we are told to do it every 1. When I rewatched it, I realized I missed marking down an entire round. I went 3 instead of just going 2.  I got 8.25. Week 1 I got 7 and week 2 I got 7.25. The BOD ropes actually make it tougher. I sprained my ankle in there too. But just getting more familiar made it easier.

Day 17

I did upper body since I wanted to do something but also couldn't do much with my ankle.

 Day 18

After I got back from running I went and did the last workout from week 3 since I did them out of order.  I did a lot of planks instead of climbers and jacks. I was so tired from my run. Since I did them out of order, I was behind. A friend did her Day 18 and improved on her AMRAP by 1.25 so I wanted to improve on mine by that much. My first one was a little rocky because I forgot what I was supposed to be doing. I thought for sure I wouldn't make it so I pushed more to try to do it.  I had 8.75 last time.  I just needed to hit 10 and I got 10.25 (really maybe 10.35 since part of the next thing too).

Day 19

The warmup has helped my shoulder mobility a lot. I don't usually record but did here.  The workout felt so quick.  I modified some balancing ones. My sprained ankle is not good enough yet.

Day 20

I switched up where I worked out. I forgot to take preworkout. I had to modify starting 2/3 because of my ankle. Liam sure got in my way.

Day 21

I was so sick of falling behind because of my sprained ankle that I skipped to day 21 to do the stretch.

Since I did them out of order here's the order and days I did them.
7/26 - Day 15 (then later that day I sprained my ankle)
7/30 - Day 21
8/2 - Day 17
8/5 - Day 20
8/6 - Day 19
8/7 - Day 16
8/9 - Day 18

8/2/20 instastories

Miles liked showing me tomatoes on our plant. Liam liked walking around the yard. Liam wasn't happy inside but was sure happy outside. I did an upper body workout to go easy on my sprained ankle.  Miles finally got his remote control shark. He loved them. Liam loved them.  Liam got into a bunch of cabinets. Liam hugged Miles. I did my planks and push-ups.

#mbf week 2

Day 8
Using Liam as a weight was tough. I had to do a diaper change and just started a new video after so this is compiled with 2.

 Day 9
Dave said no TV for Miles so that meant he was with me.  I did .5 zoom with the camera screen facing the wall. I liked that I could get more of me in but I missed being able to check my form.  I couldn't do plank jacks so I stepped out and then I just held a plank. I already have enough back troubles and I'm not risking injury. Always choose modifications over poor form!  AMRAP - I beat last week's by half a round. And this time I was without my ankle splint and Miles kept talking to me throwing off my brain what move I was supposed to do.

Day 10 (7/20)
I had so many interruptions. Liam woke up and I looked on the baby monitor and then I did not start back up the video after. I thought I did. I was even impressed with how I completed the moves with a heavier weight.

Day 11
I did my workout video but forgot to hit start so did the first segment without being on camera. I was disappointed because I was impressed at my lack of modification and now there is no record of it. There were so many plank jacks and I did not modify! My AMRAP went from 7.5 to about 8.85 from last week to this week.
Day 12
The time lapse doesn't show just how awful the workout was with the kids there. Liam made the step and lunge so difficult.  Ella almost killed me when she sat one me when I was about to do a move. I couldn't breathe.

Day 13
Ella got mad at me for correcting her form. She was using too heavy a weight and it'd be dangerous. So then she got mad and put me on a timeout. That was the best. She played with Liam while I was on "time out."  I got about half the plank jacks I should have gotten in every 40 second clip. I thought maybe I was counting them wrong. At the end of the workout I went and relistened to her explanation. Nope I was counting them right!

Day 14
I really needed the stretch.

I did these workouts in order not like last week. I did a bunch of running too. I ran 16.73 miles on top of these workouts.

#mbf week 1

Muscle burns fat is a new beachbody program.  I did day 3 first.  then did day 1 about a week later. I did them a little out of order based on other workouts I was doing.

Day 1
Ella was in there with me and did a little and then had to use the stomp rocket.  My knees just will not bend for a side lunge anymore. They were rough when I did 80 day obsession years ago and now way worse.
Day 2
I was pretty sure from doing these workouts, running, and daily push-ups.
You keep track of your reps for 4 minutes at the end. I got 7 rounds done.
I did the workout when Dave took Liam for a walk. Mountain climbers are hard.  It took took me 41 minutes to complete a 35 minute workout.
Day 3
It was so hard for me to do the mountain climbers. By the end I just held a plank.  It took a few extra minutes to complete the workout with the kid interruptions. I paused it so I didn't miss any. I got 7 AMRAPs.  I don't have the jump ropes yet so I feel like it'll be different when I'm actually holding something.
I encouraged Miles to join me. It made some things more difficult but we had fun. Miles is so crazy. He moves around so much> I forgot I had a fan until the end. It sure was nice.

Day 4
There are too many mountain climbers. It was too hard. I just had to hold a plank at the end.
Day 5
Day 6
Inchworm push-ups were rough. I liked that Ella joined me for a little bit of it.  Mountain climbers are still awful. As I do them my hands slide too far forward.  This was my first workout video without my ankle splint.
Day 7
I couldn't quite do the moves. It was hard with a crying baby. He just woke up and he was not a happy camper. I already tried to start many times and failed so I tried to do it.

I didn't do ultimate portion fix or 2b mindset. I did try to stop snacking at night and eat healthier but it didn't always work out.

Here are the days I did them and when.

7/10 - Day 3 (I also ran.)
7/12 - Day 1 (I also did a 90 minute walk with Miles.)
7/13 - Day 2 (I also did a run and then walk with Miles.)
7/14 - Day 5 (I did 15 min on the elliptical and later 20 min of walking in place and pepper steps.)
7/15 - Day 4 (I went for a run.)
7/16 - Day 7 (I also ran.)
7/17 - Day 6 -- this was the only day I also didn't do another workout.

I was sore basically all week!
During the span of 7/10 and 7/17 I lost 1.6 lbs but then the following day I gained 2.1 so don't pay too much attention to that.
