I did a little workout yesterday. Instead of doing a video, I used a timer for 1 minute segments with 15 second break on my phone. Then I got to have the TV on too. I took some videos of what I did and shortened them a lot so this video is not that long.
Some of these things were from 21 day fix workout dirty 30. But others are just ones I've done in the past. I started doing each exercise twice and would rotate between two. But I realized I was running low on time and picking up Ella so I only did the last 5 or so 1 time.
That pregnant belly is 18 weeks 5 day!

12.14
I had to wake Ella up so that we weren't late to go running except we were still about 8 minutes late. We ran 4 miles then the kids played. It was pretty cold but then when running I was pretty warm and had to remove my layers. Playing at the park afterward was cold again and I had to put them back on. Everyone didn't stay a long time so we didn't stay that long either. Ella sure had fun though.
On our way home we went to the Dollar Tree. I went specifically to get a few things. Ella requested to walk so our shopping trip was longer than it would have been. She really has a blast picking things out and putting them in the canvas bag. I put a lot back but got a lot, too.
After we were home a bit we did a google hangout with my mom. Ella requested pig tails so she had some and then she wanted me to have some too. Hers were cuter.
She has become quite the little bugger moving the step stool to access Poly's food and water.
She plays with the ornaments then goes in time out. She thinks the punishment is worth the reward.
She lied on the ground and said "I sleepy" and then covered herself. But she did not want to go to her crib. I talked her into lying on the couch to try to sleep. But as soon as I got up she was up. She didn't want to miss out on anything. So there went that.
Ella picked where to hang up the Merry Christmas sign that she picked out at the Dollar Tree.
Divya came at 3:30 to lift weights. Ella was in the crib but after ~50 min we gave up on nap. Ella and Arya played. Divya and I took turns lifting weights. We ended up lifting and hanging out until about 5:30. They snacked for a bit and after Ella was using the exercise band that I was just using. That was the first time she ever saw me do it.
We went to pick Dave up and Ella fell asleep in the car.
Dave and I picked up dinner at Panera and ate it while Ella was sleeping. I transferred her to her crib. She did wake up but then went right back to sleep. It was around 6:15 that she went to sleep in the car.
I was so tired but did not go to sleep early. I spent time working on Christmas gifts and things.

Lower Fix
I recorded myself on different 1 minute segments and trimmed those videos then compiled them. Now you can have an idea on the workout.
I used 5 lb weights. I think the 15 lb weights would have been too heavy for my first time and I only had 2 5s as my other choice so that's what I did. I have 1 8 lb weight but I thought I'd be lopsided if I used that and a 5.
I was definitely fatigued after and slightly sore the rest of the day. That means it was a good workout. Sometimes with lower weights I go down more in the squats so then it's an even better workout than a heavier weight anyway.

Exercise (4.15-4.21)

Planned Mileage: no specific plan but I kind of hoped for 10 miles before the week started.
Monday: I went to the gym with Dave. We walked there and walked back. I did legs at the gym. I also did abs. I only did the machines but did 3 sets. I didn't do lunges or squats with the barbell like I sometimes do. I used the arm bike for the first time since I went to physical therapy in 9th grade. I'm not sure of the official name but it's like an exercise bike but you use your arms instead of your legs. I officially did 7 minutes but I swear it took a couple minutes just for me to figure out the buttons and get the time to go. I did 1.38 miles in 7 minutes. Perhaps if I use it more, I can compare time/distance to see if I improve. When I was almost done but someone was on the last machine I needed, I went to use the rower. I used it for 2 minutes until the machine I needed was free. Total workout time was 54 minutes. (We were gone from home for 61 minutes so I'm not sure what I did that didn't get timed besides punching in but I guess I had to do something)
Tuesday: Dave and I went to the gym again. We walked there and walked back. I did arms at the gym. I also did abs. I didn't have time to do cardio. I'm pretty sure the timer was 1:05 for workout time but as I was stopping it, I accidentally cleared it.
Wednesday: I was so sore, I took a rest day.
Thursday: Dave and I went to the gym again. I did legs again. I also used the arm bike. This time I only did it for 3:30 and did .6 mi. Then I went on a treadmill and ran a half mile in 4:46. I ran at 7.0 mph but it took me forever to get the speed up to 7.0 from .5 because I had to use arrow keys to increase it. I was lightheaded for the 2nd half of the workout (the arm bike and the treadmill were the last 2 things I did). Total workout time 58 minutes.
Friday: I went for a swim with Hilary. I lost track of my laps so many times. I think I did 40 laps (or lengths but I hear swimmers call lengths laps even though I'd think 2 lengths = 1 lap but what do I know). It took 40 minutes to do that. Hilary was done a few minutes before me. My goggles hurt my eyes so bad.
Saturday: Dave and I went to Guadalupe River Trail and biked 10 miles. (57 minutes)
Total Running Mileage: .5
Total Biking Mileage: 10.02 mi (not counting arm bike mileage)
Total other things: a few walks, 3 weight sessions, 1 swim
Summary: I enjoyed getting back into weights but think I will start running and doing weights and just running less so I have time to do other things.

Recovery Week (4.8-4.14)

Tuesday: I took a rest day.
Wednesday: I went to the gym with Dave. We walked there and walked home. I lifted weights for my upper body for 32 minutes.
Thursday: I had another rest day I think.
Friday: Dave and I walked to dinner. We went the roundabout way so to and from was 1.9 miles

Friday: Dave and I walked to dinner. We went the roundabout way so to and from was 1.9 miles
Saturday: I went for a quick run in the morning. I kept in short on purpose because of my toe and plantar fasciitis. My toe didn't bother me so much but my plantar fasciia did. I tried to run close to a 9:30 pace.
The 2.33 mile run I normally do was only 2.3 with my old watch so I had to add on at the end to get to 2.33.
It was kind of nice running in the morning and getting it out of the way. It was cooler but still felt warm. It was fun to be home only 5 min after Dave woke up too.
Sunday: Dave and I went to Shorline to go for a bike ride. We rode a little over 7 miles. (My Garmin said 7.2 and Dave's Strava said 7.6). It was pretty windy. Going against the wind was really hard. When the wind was behind us Dave said he was like a sail boat.
Total Running Mileage: 2.33 mi
Total Biking Mileage: 7.2 mi
Total other things: a few walks and 1 weight routine
Summary: I ended up taking more recovery than normal because of my pantar fasciitis and potentially a broken toe. I've had my toe wrapped. It took until Thursday for it to not hurt almost constantly. Then on Sunday we gave Poly a bath and I didn't have my toe taped for about an hour and then it was pretty painful again and I went back to icing it a lot. It doesn't look broken but I'm not quite sure. I'm not going to be anywhere near my mileage goal for the month at this rate. But I better get healthier now versus keep running and then getting injured for longer.
