1.20

Shirt and Jacket: NY&Co, Skirt: F21, Shoes: Famous Footwear, Necklace: Charlotte Rouse
I woke up at 6:30 am. (I went to sleep at 8 PM so I even had a full nights sleep.) Dave made me breakfast. I even ate it before I ran. Then I had an amazing run. It probably wasn't just a coincidence.

Poly hopped in the blue canvas bag even though it was full of stuff so I got the red bag open for her and she hopped out of the blue bag and right into the red one.
We went to outback for dinner. I forgot to take a picture of my soup.
After we went to Whole Foods. I probably shouldn't be shocked to see them selling chicken feet but I was.

I was some TV after we got home.

7.23

Skirt: F21, Shirt: NY&Co, Sandals: Kohl's, Earrings: Gifted
I woke up and felt productive. I didn't plan to run since I did my long run the day before so then I didn't feel guilty for not running.  I did a bunch on my to-do list.  I also played in Photoshop.  Poly admired her own picture on the screen.

Around lunch time I headed out to buy Dave's birthday present. That took awhile.  In the parking garage I was taking my daily picture and some old guy asked if I needed assistance. I ended up answering him just as the timer was going off. Sigh.

I played around in photoshop even though that was not on my to-do list.  Then my day started to not get productive.
Around 2 pm I finally ate lunch then I ate a lot of it. Oops.  I sewed my cherry shorts and broke the needle. I was hand sewing and I broke it!
I went to go move a stack of 2 boxes only to learn Poly was in the bottom box!
Dave wanted to meet at Sweet Tomatoes for dinner so I said OK even though I wasn't hungry.  I ate a lot. As we were leaving my stomach started hurting. Then I just relaxed all evening because of it. I went into bed really early and just played Solitaire.  I was on the couch for awhile relaxing while watching TV and Poly joined me. She knows when I don't feel well and always cuddles with me.
My California driver's license arrived in the mail! It looks as awful as I was expecting.  I also learned my friend Callie won another race.

7.4

Shirt: NY&Co
Shorts: American Eagle Outfitters
Purse: NY&Co
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
I wanted to wear red white and blue but didn't quite have the clothes ready to do that.
Dave and I started our day walking to get donuts. I raved about my 2 the day before so Dave wanted some. We bought a dozen. They give you some free donut holes when you buy donuts.  En route to get donuts a guy in a truck honked at me. Or maybe he honked at Dave since, as Dave put it, he's a catch.  People are so short around here that they trim the trees over sidewalks but they are too low for even me to go under.

The one person we know around here, Hilary, invited us to a BBQ.  We figured we could take a break from unpacking to go. I felt bad not taking anything but without things unpacked and with no working space I had to go empty handed. I did know where paper plates and cups were and said I could take those. Dave joked at me about it. Then we get there and when it was time for cake, they ran out of plates!   It was odd to be at a picnic with healthier food.  There were 8 total of us there. Dave and I showed up last and we left first.  They did this weird thing where they have these climbing ropes rigged up to 2 trees like a tight rope. I thought it was the weirdest thing I ever saw but then later I saw people doing the same thing pictured on some pamphlet.  I didn't try it but hear it is really hard to do.

We left the picnic and went to our temporary housing to pack up all the rest of our stuff. That took a little longer than expected.  We had to get all our food and all that too so it was more than we took into the place.
We went to In N Out near temp housing since the one by our new apartment is packed. They forgot to give me my shake and I had to ask for it so then the guy filled it extra full.
We cleaned off the couch enough to sit on it. Then we just sat there.  Poly discovered sitting on the ottoman and napped there. Granted she was on the bottom of a flipped up side down ottoman.  I unpacked lamps and 2 were missing pieces.
I took a nap around 7pm.

We set up the TV.

I had donuts in bed.

3.21

Cardigan and Shirt: Limited
Skirt: Express
Belt: Kohl's
Shoes: Kohl's
Necklace: Sears (I think)

I had to go into work for an 8:30 meeting so I couldn't telecommute. My knee was worse than any of the previous days.

Not only did I have to come into work for a meeting but I had to go to building 1 for it. I was wincing in pain as I was walking over.  It was not fun.  Then I get to building 1 and set up my laptop and the phone rings.  It was someone telling me the meeting was no longer in building 1 and I had to get back to building 4 for the meeting.  That sucked.

In that meeting, I got even more work. I'm already fully loaded.  As soon as that meeting was done, I went back to my desk to write up my performance review. I had 30 minutes until my meeting.  Most people spend hours writing up their review. I spent 20 minutes.  I knew better than to try to redock my computer or it would have wasted 20 minutes of it.  My meeting went fine but I still have to put it into notes in the system.  I just didn't have the time.  I have too many meetings that I can't get work done.

The day flew by.    As the day went on my knee got a lot better.  It went from constant pain to no pain. But because it was so bad earlier, I decided that I should not go to Body Pump.
Then I ended up staying at work too late.
On top of instead of inside the snapple box
I ordered Pizza Hut online before leaving work then went and picked it up.  The one pizza had extra sauce instead of easy on the sauce. I checked the order and I ordered it that way. Ugh.

We ate and watched TV then watched a little more TV because I needed a break.  Then I finished planning for the Stampin' Up class. I was done with all the cards and made one more box but then I had to take photos of all the pictures and put it into the tutorial. That always takes so much longer than I think.  I was exhausted by 11:30 when I was done prepping.  I didn't make time to carry the supplies down stairs.  I never got to cleaning up. I figure if it's slightly a mess, that's OK.

3.6

I carpooled with Dave again.  I realized how much I like it. I don't have to drive. I also am forced to get ready in a jiffy. I actually was only able to time it closely because Dave showered in the morning and I didn't. If I did, I'd have to wake up earlier than him. If he didn't, I'd have to wake up earlier than him.

I get to work early when we carpool too. But then I might not get to leave 9 hours later anyway. I never leave early.

Dave and I went to the gym after work. We both talked about how we kind of wanted to skip but we didn't.
We watched some Dexter after work.  I don't know what I did with my life before Dexter. I don't know what I'll do with my life after Dexter too.

2.9

Today was super busy.  I had a meeting starting at 7.  My computer had issues and before I got that working I realized the room I booked was in the wrong building. I suck. I'm 0 for 2 for this meeting Well the last time, the other guy didn't show. At least this time we held it, just in an inconvenient location.

Then at 8, I had another meeting. I had computer issues so decided to reboot. We used the other person's computer. My computer was finally rebooted and working on the intranet at 8:55.  The meeting ended minutes later, just in time for my 9:00 meeting.  That ended at 10 but someone kept me after until 10:30 asking to explain stuff.
Then I hurried to my desk and changed clothes and headed over to building 1. I was just on-time to head to the Beaver Valley Tour.

We carpooled. I didn't have to drive. Boy was that nice.   The tour was good all except the 2nd floor of the turbine building. The floor was the kind of floor with a grate and we are just too high up. I had to avoid looking at anything. It felt worse than the sand dunes. I hear there was a lot of cool stuff to see on that floor too.

As soon as I got back, I realized I missed a meeting and never followed-up with the 2 people I asked to back me up.

I had little motivation to work but still stayed at my desk working until 5:45.  It was a long and exhausting day for sure.

I went to the gym and ran 3.25 miles (8:39 pace). I wanted to run 5 but didn't have enough time. I had future timed my Pizza Hut order and then when I was leaving work a coworker was and she talked to me for 20 minutes.

Around 4 pm I pigged out on Cheeze Itz, so then I only ate 1 piece of pizza after I got home.
We watched Whitney and American Idol.  I showered. Then we watched Rachel Maddow.  All evening I was just sneezing nonstop and my nose was running non-stop. I couldn't figure out if I got a cold or it was allergies. Neither would mean a good thing but I would rather it be allergies.

I almost went to bed without taking any pictures all day of Poly so I took 2 right before bed.

11.28 - Dead Car Battery

Cardigan: NY&Co
Shirt: Limited
Skirt: Express
Shoes: Mudd
Belt: Kohl's
Earrings: Target

I have indoor pictures and outdoor pictures because I took my picture, then my car battery was dead so I needed jumped and had to call AAA.  They took so long that I was able to get outdoor pictures too.
After work I went to the dentist to have a cavity filled. The dentist kept leaving the room to go handle other patients.  Sometimes I was there 15 minutes waiting.  This all made my appointment really long.  My face was so numb all night.  I had a 5:30 appointment and at 10:30 when I went to sleep, I was still pretty numb.  I wasn't numb up to my eye or down my neck but my entire cheek was still numb.   I haven't had novocain much in my life but I'm pretty when I talked to other people they said they were never that numb or for that long.

9.6 Red Pants

September 13 is Everybody Everywear day for colored pants.  And well my red pants work perfectly. But the thing is I get a week behing on posting (or more) so I wore these early. 1 week early.
Colored Pants | Everybody, Everywear

Oh man how I love these pants.  For the past few months I was debating buying a new pair since these were too tight. I held out and now they fit. Yay. I'm so glad I didn't have to buy a new pair because VS is so hit or miss. Twice now they have had the most amazing pants ever and 3 times the pants sucked. The 2 good pairs fit nicely, are washable and dryable, and do not need to be ironed. The other 3 pairs are not like that. If you look at the VS website you can't tell the materials and they don't list washing instructions most of the time.  I wish they had reviews like other sites so I could read what people said about them.
My little baby Poly was hugging my arm.  I couldn't possibly get out of bed.
Once I did bring myself to get out of bed, my little Poly tried to sabotage by sleeping on my new clothes.

I left work to go to Olive Garden for dinner with Dave.  I saw that they have the never ending pasta bowl so I knew I had to get that. This was the first time I wore my red pants in a long time and the last few times I wore them, they were far too tight, so I preemptive unbuttoned them. They were under my shirt and my cardigan. Nobody could tell while I was sitting anyway. Then I ate all of my food. Dave didn't even eat all of his. I also at at a faster rate than him.  I left the pants unbuttoned and with the shirts over it you couldn't tell at all.  This was the first time I unbuttoned pants before it was necessary. It was a good idea. I could have probably gotten a second bowl but I didn't.  Dave said the guys were eyeing me up when I was leaving Olive Garden. He thought my red pants drew their attention so they had to check me out.

Then it was off to work.  I worked until after 7:30 since I was gone for dinner a bit in there.  Leaving for dinner was great because it broke up the work day.

At 7:30 I went to the gym.

I didn't get home until about 9.  It didn't feel like such a long day because I left work for dinner.  That dinner just had so many benefits.  It also helped me run at the gym.

9.5

I woke up with the intention of running but I checked the radar and it wasn't looking good for running if I didn't want to run in the rain.  So I putzed around and over an hour later still no rain! Boy was I mad. Then I used the exercise bike for 50 minutes, did abs and stretching and then used the bike again. My total workout was 1:27. Too bad I didn't go for an additional 3 minutes to make it an even 90 minutes!  Poly rested on the bed the first time I was on the bike, but once I started doing abs, she was all up in my grill. She likes to go under my torso when I'm doing planks.
Then I went outside to do some yard work and just as I stepped outside, it started raining. Well I put some mulch down anyway.   I figured I was all sweaty from using the exercise bike so then the rain would be alright.  Then I showered.
Then it was lunch time and short TV time with Dave. I fell asleep through the last 5 minutes of Kitchen Nightmares UK (on Netflix).  Just when it was over, Jen and I were texting about going shopping. She was already at Kohl's. I better put on makeup and hurry to get there but Poly had come to my lap just as I was waking up from my nap and boy was she cute so it took me a few minutes to finally make her get off of me.
At Kohl's, I found 1 shirt and Jen found 3 shirts and 1 pair of pants.
Then we went to the mall. After 3 hours at the mall, I only found 2 more shirts and they were the same shirt in different colors.  It was very disappointing. I tried so hard. I wish I found more things.  I haven't been shopping in months so I thought I'd see more things I liked.  I tried really hard to buy patterns but failed. Why are patterns just so ugly? Or why are the clothes in the nice patterns always out of my size?

1st and 2nd shirt: NY&Co. Originally 26.95 - 40% off. Paid $16.17
3rd: Kohl's. Originally 48. 35% off then 15% off - Paid $26.52
Total spending: $58.86

I need to figure the belt out. I couldn't tie it at the store because it had a tie through it so that the belt wouldn't end up missing.
Loft, Express, Nickel via Famous Footwear
After the mall, I tried to get dinner. I got to Panera at 7:05 and they closed at 7. Then I went to Arby's and they were closed.  So I just went home and we made a frozen pizza.  We watched a little TV, then I watched TV.  Now I'm all caught up on Big Brother. I watched the episodes from when I was in Colorado even though I already saw what happened next since I've been back for awhile.
