i was just trying to reveiw for the GMAT
i read how to do 2 qestions. then i took a 2.5 hour nap.
I just signed up for a 5k race in aw eek
at the momen thte max i've done is 2 miles. so i'm 2/3 there. this probably is a little too soon. oi

I had a stmapin' up party tonight. It went long. It was fun. We had chicken salad first. Dave made the chicken. it was very good.
My craft room is too messy. i almost can't work at all under these conditions.

I have been busy this week so far. I didn't even bring my work computer home the past 3 days!

i don't understand how i can use an ice pack. go for a run and totally misplace the ice back.

today i stretched and forgot to stretch my groin. well then after 6 laps my groin hurt and i had to limp . shows ya how stretching helps

my knee hurts today because i did the body pump class and i think i went down to low on those squats or something and we did so many of them.

today i ran must faster early on but still only ran 30 seconds faster than yesterday (for 2 miles)

but now that i analyze it last time i wote stuff down every so often and still had the timer running. so yesterday was probably better. sigh

dave made fun of how i write what i did down. he said can't you just do # of laps and overall time. nope. i need to improve all my splits. sheesh.

we went to olive garden last night.
i didn't get salad but i got soup. i didn't even finish the bowl. i spent too much time eating 90% of the appetizer. so good.
i almost didn't touch my meal but didn't want it to look that way so i ate 3 bites of chicken and a few bites of the potatoes

i stayed up past my bedtime

we watched the penguin game taped so we didn't start it until 9:30 or so. We could fast forward through intermissions so we only ended about an hour late

today

i took a 20 min walk during work (2pm)

went to the gym around 3:45 and was done walking to the car after at 5:15 so i got probably an hr and 15 of weights

then i got home and we went to the track. 2.5 miles in 30 m in. the track was rough because i had upped all my weights at the gym so i couldn't open my stride as much as i want. like i ran an 800 in 5 min instead of 4 min

i did an 800, 1200, 200 walking, 600, 200 (walking), 600, 200 (walking), then cooldown. = 10 laps

instead of buying a wedding card timmy bought a smypathy card for the wedding that we went to yesterday.

and i let dave pick the amount we were going to give.
he gave something that ended in 26 cents. i laughed so hard. i fell over. i said that was something timmy would do.
then timmy said that his was ending in 64 cents.

i almost didn't go to the gym. but then i went and worked out for an hour adn 45 min and my face turned beat red. it was so hot in the gym today.

shoes

i wore my new shoes today . well one of the pairs.
they are pointy.
i felt like a witch.
but the heels were comfortable. they were bigger than i normally buy but actually the size my foot measures. they have ankle straps so then i don't flop around
i think they were a 4" heel
so now tomorrow it's back to my flats but at least i got to be tall for a day.
oh and i really am sick of going right to the track after i finish eating and the last 2 times i even ate too much.

i try so hard

i try so hard to count. i really do. i just can't seem to do it. just like in cross country when we did those fartlick (sp) things where you run, walk, and jog and repeat. and i could do the 1 min of this 2 of that 3 of that but i couldn't tell you how many sets of those 3 things i did. i never could.

today we were at the track 30 min. counting walking to and from the car and taking 3 min to stretch
i really didn't know if i did 7 8 9 or 10 laps
we decided it wasn't 7
and it wasn't 10
i ran a 400. stretched
ran a 400
walked 100
run 100
a laaop of stuff (i can't even remember that)
then i started running a mile at 16:02
26:40 i finished running said mile (that's 4 laps there and i ran straight through so that i could count. the first 2 laps were at 5 min 1 second so it looks like my pace slowed)
then walked the last half lap and to the car and that took almost 4 min.
so 14 min = 4.5 laps
how many laps were there in 13 min (stretching was 3 min). i ran faster at the beginning i learned when i walk between things and walk 100 m that i do that in 1 min so if i walked it all i'm on pace for a 16 min mile.
first lap was liek 2 min
then i stretched
then 2 min 10 seconds for the next 400
so now i have 6.5 laps accounting for and 9 min left.

i'm guessing i did 9 lap. who knows though

i listened to the ipod today. the arm band fits now. i guess i got a fat enough arm now.
today i ran a 200 somewhere in there and i did that in 53 seconds. so that's pretty good. faster than half my 400 time but slower than double my 100 time.

it was raining today and 50 degrees.
