#itsmomchallenge Week 4

May 24-31

May 24

May 24

May 26

May 27

I didn't make much progress at all.

That's the entire month. I had more than 1 picture a day. I had more than 1 collage a day. I learned you can only save 100 stories to one highlight bubble on instagram and I filled it before finishing the month. I have not taken nearly as many photos in June as I did in May.  I still want to compare some 2019 and 2020 photos of us doing similar things as a family and see how they look.

1SE February 2020

I'm not even a week behind making this. Pretty good. I always love watching these. I notice some days I wish I had clips from 8 videos and other days I don't have any. February was pretty good.

1 SE 2019

I started using 1 Second Everyday in 2018 then only had pictures back to April. This is my first full year of it.
I always take so many videos and wish I could compile them and make nice videos but I never do. I love how other people do it and have music and all that fun stuff but I never do. I always wonder how they get such good clips because I will have tons of videos and think they are never that good.  But then I do these 1 SE and the 1 little second or 3 seconds a day is great.

You might remember I tried to do research and I tried a bunch of free apps. This app is really so much better than those other ones. But now it's been 1.5 years and I wonder if there are other good ones out there now.

2019 Week 16/52 Photo

Liam was born but I will include those in Liam specific posts so here are 2 pictures from the first week Liam was born.  Dave made a delicious apple cake.   The other picture I really wanted a nap. I lied down and within a minute they found me and Miles jumped on top of me. Then Ella jumped on shortly after.

Photo Taken April 21, 2019

The kids liked the apple cake when it was just cake without the icing and caramel sauce.

Photo of the Day: Cooking (1991)

Photo Taken December 14, 1991
I started using the new google photo scan app on my phone so I went and scanned a few old pictures. I realized I had a picture already scanned from the same day. The bottom photo was scanned with a scanner and the top photo was scanned using an app on my phone.

Raddish Kids (January 2019 Part 2)

We finally did more of the Raddish Kids. The kids love to cook but don't love to eat it!

The dessert was so good. Miles didn't help make it so then I didn't end up recording very much. The kids only wanted ice cream or ice cream and chocolate and not the delicious cream puff part.

1 SE January 2019

I've included 2 videos on a lot of days so it's more than 1 second everyday and I like it better.  55 seconds for January. I'm still not perfect with having enough horizontal videos. January flew by.

7.28.18

I spent the day trying to clean for house guests.  It's not just cleaning the old mess or unpacking the old mess but the kids kept making a huge mess playing while I was busy cleaning.

I needed to make progress on this mess so we could eat here.  This isn't even a true before picture.

Miles and Ella liked looking at Ella's old photo book.

I did it.
The kitchen still needed work.
Then I had to get Miles to nap. That took forever.

Ella interrupted us and delayed us too. And Miles had to hold his lawn mower.

Ella wanted to take a bath with her swimsuit on.

The ribs caused a little too much smoke.

One of the racks of ribs broke off the hook and fell in the coals.

Then later the 3rd rack fell. The third rack was even worse because we couldn't even see it to lift it up. We had to pour water to get rid of the smoke to find it. It was pretty ruined.
Progress
Miles was read.  They were late. He wanted to eat.   Dave ate 5 ribs or more while he was cutting them.

Miles kept checking if they were coming.
Finally it was time to eat!

After eating the kids played a ton. We played outside and inside. I barely took any pictures.

We sent them home with leftovers.  We kept some too. (We didn't eat any we kept though. oops)

I thought it went pretty well. I spent the entire day cleaning and didn't really cook. Dave spent some of the day cooking. I also handled the kids.  It worked way better than when I try to cook and clean and handle the kids.  Especially because food had to go in the oven and get prepped when I was getting Miles to nap. I can't very well do the prep while I'm sitting with Miles.
