September 16-30 Outfits

9/16

9/18
I got dressed up to go to google. I didn't have to dress up but I wanted to. I only wore this for a few hours.
9/19 wasn' ta daily picture but a picture of Ella riding on my back but it's the best I could do for a daily picture.  9/22 was a screen capture of me just starting out a dance video.

We went to a birthday party in our Steelers attire. I never had so many guys talk to me about football that I never met before.
On 9/28 we took a group shot at the mom group run. There were 8 of us.
9/29 I was mid burpee.
I got dressed up for my birthday dinner.

I like the days I wore dresses the best. I really want a dress or skirt with pockets. I can't handle not having a spot to put my phone. I need quick access to my camera at all times.

8.28 - Busy Busy

What an out take!
Dress: Loft (came with a belt that was the wrong size so I used my white one instead of the black one)
Belt: Target
Shoes: Connie via Famous Footwear
Necklace: Lia Sophia

None of my pictures are that good. I'm using a different remote because I never brought my better one downstairs after I got back from vacation.

I started out the day with a run. Then my parents were coming. I had talked to my mom prior to my shower so I wasn't dressed in clothes for the day yet. She said she was wearing her dress she wore to church so I dressed up too.

After I got off the phone with my mom, I hurried and showered even though I wanted to go to the track to run 2 more miles because I needed to get 7 miles in per my training plan and only got 5 (only ever get 5).  After my shower I ran to Giant Eagle to buy birthday cake.  I got home seconds before my family showed up.  Then we talked a minute and then headed to Houlihan's so my dad could use his birthday coupon.

Well we got to Houlihan's right before 2 and they close at 2 to stop the brunch and then reopen again at 3.  So we had to kill time to find somewhere else to eat.  We decided to kill time.  We went to Costco and got some free samples and maybe bought something.  Then we went to Home Depot and got caps for our permanent stakes for the property markers.
Then it was back to Houlihan's.

After Houlihan's, we came home, got Timmy set up to start copying pictures from my computer to his from our vacation and I went with my parents to Sam's Club.  (I changed into jeans and comfy shoes. My pointy shoes weren't so good for all the shopping we did earlier.) I can't believe the one in Butler was only 25-30 minutes away. I always figured Butler was further and I didn't even know there was a Sam's there. I don't have a membership or anything so I'd have to go with my parents.  We were looking for landscape lights and french bread pizzas and they didn't have either.  But then I saw some patio chairs and a small table and impulse bought them. I figured our patio is big and we could use the little table to store food or something so now I have something little out there.
After we got home, we put together the table. Then my dad asks me if we have a shovel. He starts digging out the Holly. I've been telling him for awhile I have to dig it out, but I was never getting around to it. Well we got around to it now. It was hard to dig out.  Also I raked up a ton of straw that was over all the new grass we had. I still have to do the other side of the yard and everything in the back hillside plus more on the first side. It should have been raked up sooner but when I was in Colorado it didn't rake itself.  We pulled a couple weeds, too. The weeds were 3 feet high. Oops
We got done just about dark and we didn't even finish digging out the wire that was around the Holly ball in the ground.  We actually stopped after I the shovel slipped and I got covered head to toe in dirt. Then we came in and chilled out. Had a snack of chips and then played with Poly.  Then it was almost 9 and my mom was mad she wasn't taping some special about the Last Heart Attack so then they stayed and watched that. It wasn't over until 10. Boy am I glad I wasn't out that late. I was so tired. There would have been no way I could have driven home and made it home w/o having to stop and nap.   After my family left we watched Big Brother. I was so tired. I did a lot, but still didn't get any laundry done or any housework done over the weekend. The weekend just disappeared.

7.15 - Dress, Patio

Dress: Loft (purchased October 2010 and never worn) (~$10)
Shoes: Famous Footwear - Connie
Belt: Target
Necklace: Lia Sophia
Purse: Kohl's

The first half the day I actually wore the skirt/shirt from the night before.  I thought this dress was shorter. I guess my memory isn't that good.  Next time I'll wear a tank top under it. I didn't like how when I leaned, I showed too much skin.  The dress came with a black belt but I thought that seemed silly. When I was about to put on the outfit, I noticed the belt had a size in it and it was 2 sizes off. I bet before this ended up on clearance someone did some belt swapping.   How else would you style this dress?

I spent the night at my parents. I set my alarm to wake up early to run but that did not happen.  I decided I wanted to sleep.  Also I wanted to get started getting my work day in. I worked half a day at my parents.  The day started pretty slow because I didn't know the password to my parents wireless  and then my computer needed to be rebooted about three times.

Then went over to Kohl's parking lot. My mom was meeting people there and I stopped to say hi. I saw some elementary school teachers.  We talked for a few minutes then I drove home.
I came home to the patio progress.  They started on another job in the morning so they weren't that far along.
I got home, ate, and then worked the 2nd half of my day.

Dave got home from work at a normal time and then we did normal stuff like eat and watch TV.  I'm pretty sure we left the house to eat dinner but it's been so long that I forget.  I wouldn't have put on a nice outfit just to work at home so I assume I did leave the house.  It must have been a nice date...the fact that I remember so much about it.

Poly decided right on Dave's book is the best place to sit.

Shopping - Cranberry (10.29.10)

I was going to Ann Taylor Loft and I had good intentions to spend a decent amount of money. I just couldn't find what I wanted. I only spent $10.42.  I thought I was spending $14.88 but everything in the store was 30% off and that included the redlines.
Original Price: $89.50
Paid: $10.42
I just need a cardigan for over this. I would have a pink one but the one at the store just wasn't working for me.
Next I went into Old Navy. I haven't purchased anything there since before college. I only went because other people I know find things there and it is more inexpensive. I decided to give it a try. When walking in an employee gave me a 20% off coupon good on anything except outerwear.  I picked up a bunch of stuff but hated it.  I hate the boyfriend cardigans. I don't like them so loose around my body. Also I don't like the arms not fitting in cardigans this year.  One of the things I tried on was this ruffle tank.  I never even try on ruffles of any sort let alone buy them. I wanted to branch out of my comfort zone. I loved it. I bought the tank originally priced $14.50.  It was on sale for $6 but I got to use the 20% off coupon I got when I walked in.
Original Price: $14.50
Paid: $4.80

Total in purchases today: $15.22
Even though I didn't get what I wanted or as much as I wanted, shopping was a success.

Below are things I did not get
Pink Cardigan because it goes too low and was too tight in the arms.  Ugh about all these boyfriend cardigans.
$10 dress but it was too big.

Skirt and cardigan.  Skirt slightly big so sat lower on hips but still an inch too high above my knee. Also It was dry clean only.  Cardigan because it was too see through in the arms and too tight for my arms.  I bunched up the cardigan for the skirt picture so you could see the top of the skirt.

There were about 10 other things I tried on and didn't get. I never try on that many things but I went with the intentions of buying a lot so I tried on a lot.  I failed.
