weekly update since i'm a posting slacker

Tuesday I went to Joe Mama's in Oakland to meet my mentee from CMU.
Wednesday I went to dinner for gram's birthday. it took an hour to get to mckeesport because of a stupid car accident. then we went to my aunt's and had cake. my aunt told my uncle to buy a red cake. she meant red devil's food. he got yellow cake with red icing. it was a funny looking cake. then i headed home so stacey could come over to stamp. she was supposed to come at 6:30. but i had to change because of the impromptu birthday dinner.
Thursday we went to Johnny Carino's and went to Target after. We bought some Christmas decorations and I got a nice new coat.
Today I napped on the office floor while Dave was reading his e-mails before we would watch TV. then we watched TV and ate, and i've watched more TV. then we went to the deauville park gym. and i've been watching taped TV through my computer ever since.

how about that steeler game? i saw maybe 5 min of it. 1 min here. it was boring. turned it off. then watched 45 min of a show and then turned on the game. boring again. then another show. then show is over and i watch teh rest of the game.

how about that game causing me to miss dancing with the stars.

wedding pictures

i did some fancy photo editing to 14 pictures in 3 hours. and all of the editing wasn't fancy. some of it was only changing color to black and white. i still didn't figure out how to do what i wanted to do. i did some weird things that i don't think will turn out right when printed. we will see. this is a step in the right direction to making a wedding album.

me: well i had to so i could eat more.

i hate when there are too many choices. it just makes it too hard to decide.

we at a big meal at 1 but my big meal isn't as big as everyone elses. so i ate again at 5. then i took a 2 hour nap.

mike gained 7.5 lbs from lunch, timmy gained 5.5. and dave y gained 3. i didn't do a premeal weight at home so i couldn't tell for sure what the meal weight gain was.

i just sent my dad an e-mail asking him if he'd make me a shelf like this for Christmas. i said i'd help. he has a saw. that's really all i need him for. but it'd be nice if he bought the wood too. note the comment that her husband made it for her. i told dave this and he said he can't make things like that. it involes stainine or painting and that's too much for him...he could do it.

my weight graph is updated and i'm in the process of updating my calendar site. i'm almost done with july. i'm a little behind.

tonight i ate the last 8 nobake cookies out of the upstairs freezer.

these no-bake cookies are going to make me so fat. i just keep eating them out of the freezer. i hope i don't have to make another batch before Christmas because I ate them all.

this morning

this morning i decided to clean. i got the bathroom upstairs cleaned and both sinks. th en i went downstairs and did a little to cleaning the living room dining room. i didn't vacuum yet. then i decided to make no-bake cookies for Christmas since i ate all the tones already for Christmas that i had made a few weeks ago. i kept making them too big today. i'm so mad. they are too big they don't look nice. then i thought i could make peanut butter fudge. but the marshmallow cream was a partial container so i couldn. then i thought i'd make lunch and while deciding what to make i realized i had gotten out all the ingredients for oatmeal raisin cookies. it took me until I was getting out the mixer to realize. so then i made a double recipe of that. i'm starving now and a little lightheaded. time to go make some angel hair. then i might clean up or i'll make a mess while scrapbooking.

i watched a lot of TV today.

my foot hurts so bad. my shoe wasn't nice to it today. mind you i've worn these shoes many times before. but then during the long walk to the car i really died. i think it took us 15 min to talk to the car because i had to walk so slow. it would have been a 10 min walk normally. the upper lot at work was totally full so we had to park in the back parking lot.

dinner

so around dinner time i asked pb if he would cook dinner for me since i cooked breakfast for him (note last post)

he said he could type and order pizza via the computer for dinner if i wanted


he did more than that. he actually called on the real phone to order pizza from a new place. then he was giving our phone number. it took him 4 tries. i had no idea how or why he was messing up so much

breakfast

i made pancakes, bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast today. dave didn't have any eggs. breakfast was at 2pm.

i slept more than 12 hours friday night and last night i slept over 10.

i went to sleep at 8:30 pm last night.

so most girls ask the guy if this or that makes them look fat. well dave just volunteers this information. then today he said "i know why it makes you look fat, because you are fat.

wow am i tired

i'm so tired but really i have a lot of stuff i want to get done to better prepare.

Introduce a girl to engineering day and a stampin up workshop.

i stayed up way too late.

pb wanted chocolate chip cookies so i made some. last tray is still in the oven.

i don't like making cookies. but i love making them. but i don't like that they don't get eaten. i don't really eat any. pb eats like 3 and if i don't give the rest away right away they go to waste. well this time i'm freezing a container full for christmas so then i don't have to make chocolate chip cookies if i don't want.

today i recognized my dad from the front windows of a store. his coat gave him away. they were in some furniture place at the mall. i was coming out of the mall after exchanging a stupid necklace and on my way to johnny carino's. then they joined us for dinner.

pants

they are hemmed. halfway through hemming them, i decided to look up on the internet how to do it. i did it all wrong. there are like 8 billion steps. i did 2. one i should have probably done was try on the pants and eye up how short they should be. oh well. i dont think i did the stiches right either. i also did not remove the old hem or trim the fabric.

i'm finally hemming my pants. i'm hemming them 2 3/4" ...do you believe that. well the inseam was 38.5 inches. i guess still is. i did iron up where i want the hem though. i dont knwo how to hem. i never did it before. i hope it goes well.

i thought i got home late on monday when i didn't get home until 9:30. but i went grocery shopping then. today i got home at 9.
