After I dropped Dave off at work we went to Sprouts and Safeway. I was buying ingredients for recipes Dave was going to cook. The things weren't normal things I buy so I didn't know where they were in the store. I even couldn't find the right kind of roast. We were shopping at 1.5 hours and I didn't even finish. It took so long that we had to hurry home and grab our stuff and head out the door.
We went to the park for a big Easter egg hunt. The first hour was playing and then there was the hunt. Ella loved the swings. She had trouble standing still so I could get a group picture. Then after she got 2 eggs she ran over to the swing. She didn't need more. Later, at home, she realized candy was in them. She liked that and started liking eggs more.
We were at the park over 2.5 hours. I had to take her out of the park whaling wanting to swing more.
After Ella's nap we went to Orchard Hardware. I tried to buy a shelf for the laundry room. They didn't have what I wanted. On the way in, I did find Adirondack chairs for Ella. They were over half off. I bought 2. Ella loved them.
We got Dave then went to Boudin's for dinner. Then we went to Lowe's to buy what I wanted at Orchard. Ella rode a car cart for the first time. She liked it.
This is how Parker was and by the following year he knew just what to do at the egg hunt. Still looks like she enjoyed it though!
ReplyDeleteElla did better at her next hunt. Dave claims it is because he wa there. But I think she just learned and remembered.
