Ella Says ... (May 2017)

Here are some more fun things Ella has said. I've been breaking these up by month lately but more recently have been documenting less so I'll probably combine a few soon. If you want to go back and see old ones, I have them all tagged.

Dave at CVS: Ella I'll get you anything you want. What do you want?

Ella: What do you mean?

Dave: food

Ella: apples and bananas.

(on our road trip)

"I'm making you your cheese in the closet because a dinosaur is in there" --- Ella. She already “made” dave cheese and gave him a wet pretzel

Me: Hey. Don't kick Poly

Ella: I'm not kicking. I just tried to stomp on her.

Pap-Pap tells Ella he's going out to dinner with mummaw and they will be back after.

Ella: I'm eating this muffin. But after I'm done I can go to dinner with you.

(They were going to Mad Mex)

All day her catchphrase is “Sorry about that” or sometimes “Sorry about that Mr Pig.”

Mummaw: I did all morning
Pap-Pap: where's Ella
Ella: Mmummaw say where's Ella
Mummaw: I'm tired I don't care where Ella is. It's Pap-Pap's fault we're tired.

(Ella woke up at 5:20 AM because the phone rang in her bedroom.)

In my tired state I forgot to turn back on the baby monitor app. I just woke up to Miles crying through the walls/hallway and Ella telling me she's singing to Miles because he was crying. I asked if she can go back to sleep.

Ella: No, because Miles is crying

Me: How long was he crying?

Ella: A long time. That's why I can't sleep.

(later) 

Ella: He keeps crying because you forgot to turn on the baby monitor app.

She keeps coming back in. I had to wake Dave to help handle.

5/17 4 am

Dave: Look at mommy. How does she look?

Me: how do I look?

I just curled my hair for a wedding and put on extra makeup

Ella: bad

Dave: Why?

Ella: I don't like your hair like that

I was blogging from a year ago. Ella looks at the screen and sees the pictures.

“Are those my friends?”

Me: Yes they are.

Ella: Are those my old friends?”

She corrected herself. I was sad for her.

5/22 night

Ella goes to everything "the movers broke his too"

She says this about table I don't like how it's wobbly but told not broken

Ella: yes it is. Looks it's wobbly

I told Ella her half birthday is coming up so birthday party is coming up.  Then she got so so so excited saying "Nina can come to my birthday party. And Ms Dana can come to my birthday party. And Aurelia can come to my birthday party"

Another time I felt sad for her.
