The pictures are all similar to other days because we do the same things all the time.

 Here's one that is different. Dave was pushing the stroller!

I went for a run and then Ella wanted me. Even though I wanted to shower.

I had a little photo shoot with Ella. I always try but don't always succeed.  So I have 24 flower headbands. There were 12 different ones but since I don't know how to match most never get used and also I barely ever put them on her.  Julie gave these headbands as a shower gift. I painted the onesie. I really like it. I should have made more with the camera in other onesie sizes.

We tried to go for a walk but got outside and it was raining/sprinkling. We headed back inside. But then I carried her outside and we stood in the rain. She liked it.

It stopped raining so we went for a walk in stroller. It was a little chilly and I wanted to see how her hounds-tooth pants fit. They are a bit short. I knew once I was outside, she'd have on a blanket so I didn't worry about matching. My brother said he never saw anyone match less.  My mom made the hat (and blanket shown below.) Dave's family got her the pants.

This is what she would look like to anyone who saw her. Nobody could tell that her socks didn't match her pants or her hat or that her pants didn't match her hat.

 She fell asleep by the end of the walk.

At one point the landlord and plumber were outside talking. Ella was super fussy inside. I went outside and we joined them. She was so happy. Later the landlord came in and I was talking to him. She was so happy she fell asleep. She really likes to be in the middle of talking.

Ella is always breaking out of her swaddle. She loves being swaddled but also loves to free her hands. Too bad when her arms are free she startles herself awake so she needs to be swaddled.

Ella sat in her bouncer for a few minutes while I used my computer. She liked the lights. I don't actually turn on the vibrations.

 Ella still really enjoys sitting like this.  Sometimes she has her arm around my arm like a hug. I love it.

Ella likes to be held on my shoulder. I have noticed that she hugs me a little tighter than she used to. It's another thing I love.

I swaddled her and got her to fall asleep while I was pacing around. She didn't want to sleep when I was sitting.

Brenna comes to visit and holds Ella while I get things done. Sometimes Ella sleeps on her. She also watches her while I run. This was the day she did watch her while I ran and then I fell. I only run for a half mile so it's not long but still someone has to be here with Ella so I don't run often.

Ella lasts further into her bath before she starts crying.

Ella loves her hang out with daddy time while she chills on his chest and they talk to each other.

I think Ella does pretty well at tummy time but I think the angle of her head has been the same for awhile now.  So this is 1.5 months old and that's how high her head is. I assume that's good.

Ella did not want to sleep. I did not appreciate this. We were up from about 2-4am. We also got up for the day at 8am. One of her naps lasted 7 minutes too.

When I hold her on my shoulder, she hugs me. I love it. The hug is getting a little tighter each day.

We walked to Safeway for the first time. She napped most of the time. She napped in Safeway too which was nice. She woke up about .15 mi from our house.  The walk was 1.6 mi. (I thought it was 1.7 because that's what I saw on my strava but then when it saved it said 1.6) When we were going onto the porch she pulled her hat down. Too bad I was slow with the camera so she was done pulling by the time I took the pic.

I got her to sleep minutes before Dave got home from work. He didn't even get to see her. She finally slept. I wanted to bathe her and stuff but I wasn't about to wake her up. I got to eat without holding her or dealing with her crying. I got to use my computer a tad too. I even folded laundry.

Ella likes to chill next to Dave. She has been slightly fussy and then I put her on his shoulder and she's very content.

Poly started to get jealous so she came over and joined in.

 Just look at their side profiles.

Ella seems to be enjoying tummy time here.

We went to Whole Foods.

Someone walked around the front of me just to get a peek of how cute Ella was.

Her pants are a bit short but she rarely wears pants so I guess it's ok.

Ella got hot after we shopped. She slept while shopping and then woke up. She was only content in the car when her window was down. (Note I already removed her socks to cool her down a bit.)

We went to Whole Foods to buy wings and other stuff for the Super Bowl. They were out of wings. Dave was disappointed. We continued to shop anyway knowing switching stores might be enough to wake Ella. We ended up buying premade wings that weren't nearly as good as what Dave would have made. Dave made Italian Chili too. I was feeding Ella while he cooked. We got home and had almost no time before some people started coming. This is what happens when at the last minute you decide to have people over.   I slept on the couch during the entire second half. I only woke up because Ella did and needed to be fed. I guess that also happens when you have a baby. Nobody said anything about how I slept.
