Ella woke up around 2 AM but went back to sleep until near 7. She slept 14 total hours!
We didn't leave the house!
Ella seemed to want to nap then kept not napping so it basically ruined the entire day. After she finally napped she was so well behaved. She'd play and sit with us. We watched 2 episodes of West Wing while she was good.
Then she wanted to go to sleep early so we started bedtime routine early and she was asleep by 7:44. I cleaned up and watched TV for the rest of the night.
That little kitchen is adorable! Was that a Christmas present? Or birthday present?
ReplyDeleteNeither. I didn't ever get a chance to write about it but one of the neighbors that I run with said her kids were too big and wanted to know if Ella wanted it. We were going to save it for Ella for later but brought it inside since it was so windy and we were going to move it later and Ella loved it so we put it in the office. We were given the kitchen set plus tons of food and fruit and a sandwich making thing and more. She doesn't play with it that much now. I think we should move it from the office. I don't know though.
DeleteWow lucky you!!
DeleteWow that looks like an awesome play kitchen! Score for you guys! I bet she will play with it when she gets older. Neil pretends to cook now and sometimes uses his tool bench as a kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThanks. The kitchen isn't even focused in the pictures above. If I ever post earlier in January then you will see even more pics of it. She doesn't play with it so much now since we aren't in the office that much.
DeleteElla gets the toy phone on that kitchen and uses it. She also likes to remove the sink. She's funny. She uses a pot and spoon so I always tell her she's making soup. She built a sandwich on the sandwich maker and actually had the bun on the outside and everything. I was impressed.
I will say that Ella has a little tool set (container, 3 screws, 3 nails, drill, 2 bits, and hammer) and she uses that a lot more than the kitchen.
