4.7

Ella woke up early and unhappy. She woke up at 7 and she hasn't woken up that early in ages. She was also crying like crazy. She never does that anymore.  We cuddled a bit. She lied on me. Then we watched some videos on my phone.

She was very unhappy and screamed when she didn't get her way right away.

After we dropped Dave off, we went to the park. Ella took her shopping cart and 2 of her dolls. She enjoyed pushing them.

Ella was pretty good at first.  She even saw a balloon that was some other kids and she went over and returned it.  But after a little bit temper tantrums started.

We went for a walk with Kathryn after. Diana was supposed to walk but became an impromptu chaperone on a field trip.  Ella almost fell asleep in the stroller! We stopped at Kathryn house after to use the bathroom and then Ella ends up leaving with toys!

Ella found this computer and started using it so she got that too! I'm pretty sure I bought an identical one earlier on a buy/sell/swap facebook group.

We bought lunch at Jack in the Box. After some effort Ella fell asleep in the car.  It was a pretty long drive.  I went home and grabbed food and mailed a letter on the way to park in the school parking lot.

We parked in the school parking lot and she slept. I got out of the car at 3 and that sort of woke her so we headed in to preschool.  I was a room parent so I couldn't be late.
I was actually pretty shocked that Ella did ok with me being a room parent. We did swap inside versus outside so I wasn't with the paint the entire time.

It took us forever to leave.  Ella kept opening the door to go back into school.
Once we got home, Ella was just unhappy. She also kept getting into trouble!

I booked park for mom group event!
Even after dinner Ella was just bad!
Once Ella was in bed, I pigged out and texted friends.

4.6

Dave woke me up at 7:38. I told him before to wake me up. I managed to have enough time to get dressed and get Ella's lunch packed before she woke up. So it worked out. We left the house slightly after 8:30. I dropped Dave off at work and traffic was awful. Then I dropped Ella off at preschool. That wasn't a long drop off at all. Then I headed to Mike's Bikes to get Dave's flat tire replaced.  I was going to get there slightly before 10 and they open at 10 so I stopped at Sprouts on the way.
I got to Mike's Bike's around 10:10  and they said they could fix it then so I waited. It took a little longer than they thought. I finally got home at 11:10. I was starving!   I often pack food and snacks for Ella in my bag. I never pack things for myself and then I'm always on the go for other people and starving.

I bought a bagel at Sprouts to try it out. It wasn't as good as Panera. I had that with cream cheese and then had Ella's leftover macaroni and cheese for my breakfast/lunch.

I worked on making some pregnancy collages since my posts are so behind because of the collages. I should have been caught up about 2 weeks ago. I also haven't done any of my normal daily posts in ages. I haven't even typed up posts that I would just need to put pictures in. There has been a lot of nice stuff happening for Ella that I haven't blogged about. I need more time in the day.

(Then at 1 PM, I decided to write this before getting up to be more productive.)
Well then I spent the next 3 hours dealing with pictures from various events and sharing them.

I did dishes and cleaned up some and it was time to leave to get Ella.

Ella ran over to me to say hi when I got there. Then she ran back to play more!
We went to Cuesta park after. Ella was in the car and we pulled in. She said "No food in park. Eat in car." She is right. You aren't allowed to eat at Cuesta park. She ate for maybe 15 minutes!

We played for a long long time.  She enjoyed pushing someone on the swing. She wasn't that good but did improve.  We ran into a friend from a mom group and preschool. Ella had fun playing with her a little bit.  We were there so long that there was no point in going home so we played longer to time it so we could go pick Dave up when he was done.

I got him at 7:10. Then we went to Wendy's. I should really make him drive because it's so annoying. Especially since Ella was screaming and crying the entire time. She wanted to go to more parks!  We didn't get home until 8. Then we ate, got Ella ready for bed, and she wasn't in her bed until 9:30. I was so tired yet stayed up until 11. Ella was up in her bed for awhile singing. We don't have a monitor so I'm not sure exactly how long she was up but I only heard her singing and talking for maybe a half hour.

28 Weeks (June 12)

You can see the popped belly button a little in this photo but you can't in the other 28 week photo

I keep thinking wow I got huge this time then I look at last time and think wow I was more huge last time. I don't really know though.
Ella wants to participate in my weekly photos. She tells me I never have enough and need more.
She also has to push the button on the camera. She doesn't like the tripod the entire way up so we had to take some at the lower height so she could reach the camera to hit the button. I found 2 old remotes but the batteries were dead. I didn't replace the batteries in time to try it for these pictures.

I painted a ton of shirts this week. I painted some for the baby, some for Ella, and a bunch for gifts. Besides that I don't seem to be doing anything baby related.

Size of baby: Iceberg Lettuce, 14.6 inches long from head to heel. My app on my phone says the baby weighs about 2.2 pounds.

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  21.7 lb gain overall. I gained 2.4 in the past week. Last time I had an app that had the normal weight gain range and it said 14-21 lbs for 28 weeks. Looks like I'm no longer below average and now above it.

Maternity Clothes:  Pretty much all tops but 1 tank top. I wear maternity jean shorts. I wear athletic capris and yoga pants that are not maternity. My hoodie is not maternity.

Movement: I feel a lot of movement. This week is the first time I felt the movement up higher. I notice now I don't have the extreme urge to pee all the time either.

Sleep: I fall asleep practically daily using my laptop. I just don't have enough time in a day. (I wrote this after 1 AM because I never even got to it before.) I wake up at least once to pee. Poly wakes me up at least once a night pawing at my back because she wants me to face the windows versus facing the middle of the bed and she wants an afghan spread out for her. If it's daylight it's been really tough to fall back to sleep. Sometimes I try for over an hour before just giving up.

What I miss: Bending to clean with ease. Reaching when I drop something between boxes and not having my belly impact actually reaching the thing.

Symptoms: My back has been sore a lot. I can't really think of anything else besides the normal peeing a lot that I list. I'm a lot warmer than I usually am.

Best moment this week: Getting onesies/T-shirts finally painted

Looking forward to:  picking out a name. I have to figure it out one of these days and I can't wait.

Exercise:  I ran twice and did a bootcamp once. I also did squats 7 days in a row for a squat challenge.

Same this time: My weekly weight gain was similar (2.4 lbs this time and 3 last time)

Different from last time: I had an awesome event last time with the Yahoo Hackathon. I also had swollen ankles last time. I have not had swollen ankles yet but did a few times by this point last time.

May 1-15 Outfits

Starting to look more pregnant. I feel like the sitting pictures are even more unflattering.
The purple dress is not maternity. I tried to wear one of mine that was but it was entirely too loose.   I can't believe how I don't even look pregnant in the 5-9 photo.
My camera arrived and look a real outfit photo that is crisp and clear... Too bad I didn't keep it up.
Momlife is a shirt I painted. Those shorts make my legs look so skinny!

4.3

Ella likes to push 2 dolls around in her shopping cart.
Ella kept photo bombing my weekly photo.

The view of the pool from inside when the pool fence is not up.
We went to The Melt for lunch.

Then we went to Target.  Ella started off in the bottom of the cart.
Then she was pushing the cart. She won't just ride in the cart.   She ran off at one point and some lady in a wheel chair lectured me and her for about 5 minutes. I was so annoyed with the lady thinking she knows it all. She told me I need to slap Ella to get her to listen. I kept trying to walk away and continue shopping and she'd wheel right along in her wheel chair.

Ella helped cook dinner.

It was pretty good! Grilled chicken, roasted cauliflower, and corn on the cob.  This was the first time we used the outside grill. Dave had to start it with a lighter.

How Ella looks in bed. I turned on the flash to get a picture. She liked it so much she asked for another one. This was the 2nd picture.
