I don't think sleep training is for Ella. I guess she is getting better with times but she is crying the entire time a lot more lately.
Oh the 18th she fell asleep on me early and it took 22 minutes on the 19th (or 20 but then she woke herself back up then back to sleep. Crying stopped around 18 min.) Sometimes I wish I documented when crying stopped versus just when she went to sleep.
I posted before about sleep training. We still have not done it where she got milk from a cup versus from nursing before going to bed. I've only put her in the crib awake a few times for naps.
She's had quite a few milestones the past 1.5 months of this and I know I always hear with each milestone sleep is affected.
Since we started her crib has been lowered twice. She has also learned how to go from lying to sitting. She learned how to pull herself up to standing. She also started army crawling and then crawling with her belly off the ground. (She barely crawls with her belly off the ground but she is getting better.)
I'm certain the data would be different if I didn't have a camera where I could watch her move even if she wasn't crying. Her data would look better. I kind of hate the data but don't know what to do. I want her to be able to sleep. I hate to hear her cry. When I work with her to go to sleep at night it definitely took longer than when she sits by herself. Some nights here she falls asleep on me and some times before she would do that initially.
How do you get your child to sleep or how did you if your children are grown? Did you keep track of anything like I do above?
