We had Ella's 1 year photos taken on December 23.
Charlotte from Girl Taking Pictures took them for us. She took some portraits and then took cake smash photos. Cake smash will be a separate post. Charlotte stayed up until 2 AM the night before the shoot making the flowers for the background. She said they took 40 minutes a flower.
Ella just would not cooperate and kept eating her hand so it took awhile to get some decent ones. She also never smiled. If her hand was not in her mouth she was talking. She kept saying "yap yap yap" and flailing her arm around.
I brought some birthday presents Ella hadn't opened yet and she was the most happy opening them.
This was her cake smash outfit. We took a few shots before giving her the cake. Charlotte had balloons but Ella loved the balloons too much and she was too distracted by them.
There were so many good pictures. It was hard to limit them.

DeleteMy favorites are the ones where she has that yellow tissue paper in her hands and is smiling. What a cutie.
