Liam 11 Months

I took his pictures late and then I took his stats even later. I don't even care anymore and figure I'll wait a few days. At least I still do it, I guess. I took them 4 days late. Well I didn't even take the blanket pictures with the rest. I also didn't take stats either for a week

Stats:
  • Weight: 20 lb 13 oz - 49th percentile
  • Height: 31.5" - 98.7th percentile
  • Head Circumference: 46 cm - 55th percentile
  • Weight/Length Percentile: 15%
  • Diapers: Size 3
  • Clothing: 12 -18 month clothing.
  • Shoe Size: I haven't tried shoes on him in awhile but maybe still size 5
  • Teeth: 7
(stats using WHO)
Sleep
Sleep is less awful. He will sleep 3-4 hours at night for his first stretch. Sometimes I have issues getting him in the crib and other times I just fall asleep.  Lately I'm sleeping holding him all but maybe 1 hour.  He won't nap in the crib either. I tend to start afternoon nap near 2:30. Sometimes he's ready before then but everyone else isn't.  I mean i start nursing then so it could be awhile before he's asleep.

Eating
Liam nurses before and after naps, in the morning, before bed, and many times throughout the night. He will eat 2-3 times in the high chair everyday.  I wish I had more things to feed him. He's actually pretty picky with his food. Also there are times he doesn't want to go in the high chair and instead of having him scream, I let him hold something and eat it on the floor and then play hopefully.

Sample Schedule:
It's still insane to have a sample schedule.  He nurses every time before he falls asleep and when he wakes up unless we are out. He will have food when I eat lunch and when I eat dinner.  He maybe takes 2 naps a day but only one is a decent nap.

He starts bedtime near 7:30 and wakes up 3-6 times in a night. He wakes up near 7 am for good. He will nap twice a day but I'd say at least 2 days a week it is just 1 nap.  I will try to get him to nap for 90 minutes a lot of the time. If I try to get him into the crib, he may be done napping or nap 5 min in the crib but if I hold him he will nap 90 minutes and sometimes 3 hours.

He has a morning nap. Then he nurses, eats lunch, gets Ella, plays, and then nurses to nap again. He will nap about 90 minutes if I get him to sleep. Then we play and get kids and eat dinner and stuff. Then that brings us to bedtime.

Special Moments:
On February 15, at 1:38 AM, I gave Tylenol again.  I have no idea his problem and it’s awful
On February 19, 2020 at 3:24 PM Ella kicked Liam in the head. Liam is a good crawler. He finally has a favorite song. It is this is the song that doesn’t end. Ella told a joke and Liam laughed on cue then she told it again and he laughed appropriately again.
On February 21, Liam had ketchup for the first time. It was at Chick-fil-A and he liked it.  He pulled himself up to standing twice through the day.
On February 23, Liam got his 7th tooth. On the Bottom. Right of center 2 teeth.  Liam actually drinks from a straw. (I got it on video but probably won't get to sharing it.)
On February 24, at 6:48 AM, Liam is crying while I hold him but also seems to be asleep. He did this for 45 minutes and I have no idea what the problem is.
On February 25, we had a rough night. Liam was crying with his eyes closed.
On February 29, I wanted to know how much he always drools. Also he wiggles to dance and has been for awhile.
On March 4, Liam said "ba" and pointed to balloons. That was the first time I noticed him pointing at something. Also the first time he said something for balloons.
On March 5, Liam waved a lot on google hangout
On March 7, Dave put Liam to sleep for nap. Around bedtime he threw up.
On March 8,  at 1:00 AM, There is so much crying. Liam woke up and cried half hour.  I gave Tylenol but still don't know for sure what is going on.
On March10, Liam threw up.

Development:
He pulls himself up to standing sometimes but most of the time pulling himself up to kneeling has him as high as he wants to go.  Liam learned to wave this month.  He still has some inconsistencies with straw usage. He learned to open drawers and cabinets this month. He enjoyed taking things out too.

Communication:
I think he has said "ba" in reference to a balloon new this month. He's also said bye. He's shaken his head no.  He mainly says da for daddy and Ella. He will babble as a response. He will seem to babble on cue but I have no idea what he's trying to say.

Other Tidbits:
Likes
He loves to take a bath.
He likes to smile and watch other people.
He likes to swing.
He likes it when people make him laugh.
He likes to touch and feel Daddy's hair.
He likes to sit on the floor and play.
He likes his cube activity thing.
He likes to grab for wipes and medicine bottles.
He likes to take kleenexes and rip them apart.
He likes to crawl down the hall and take shoes off the shoe rack.
He likes to crawl and get to Poly's food and dump it out.
He likes to grab the door stopper things and pull off the white part and put it in his mouth.
He likes when Daddy gets home from work and greets him.
Dislikes
He especially doesn't like to nurse if I'm talking.
He doesn't like to be put in his car seat if he wants to go to sleep.
He doesn't want to be held by anyone but me if he's tired. You also better not put him down.
He doesn't like to nurse with distractions (a distraction is a lamp on the nightstand or a fan on the nightstand aka anything is a distraction)
He doesn't like to nap besides in his crib or on me.

Fun Facts
Longest time sleeping: 9 hours 30 minutes
Days with a sleep greater than 5 hours: 15  These are a little deceiving because they are actually worse. If he was asleep on me sometimes I'd nurse in the middle and not really mark that he woke up.
Days with a sleep greater than 6 hours: 12
(According to the internet sleeping through the night is considered sleeping 5-6 straight hours.)
Days with sleep greater than 8 hours: 3

Time spent nursing (from March 1-18): 6 hours 22 minutes per day

Other Tidbits
Liam still drools an insane amount.  He is so clingy. I have had to hold him almost all waking hours and also while sleeping all but 1-2 hours a day for the past few weeks. It is rough. When he was sick for over a week he barely had wet diapers so it lowered his average to 4 a day.  Now I have many cabinets child proofed.  He prefers to drink out of a regular cup and I often have one with water at dinner to have him drink out of that instead of his sippy cup.  From all of his drool, he has some patches on his skin. I think from the wet shirt just outside his bib area. Also his chin has the weird patchy skin too. He has slept a few times without his sleep sack but I think he sleeps worse that way.  Miles will ask me to get this baby out of here because Liam will bother him while he's on his gray chair.
My Recovery
My back got worse as the month went on. I started PT again and it helped greatly but then I had to cancel with Dave and Liam being sick and haven't gone and I'm getting pretty bad again. I didn't get strong enough before the carry and hold Liam all day long happened again so now I'm bad.
