Showing Ella her finished product for the shirt she made Gavin.
Gio watched Ella while we had our doctor appointment.
We learned we were having a boy.
Then we had to hurry to Gavin's birthday party. We were already late. Dave refused to go. I was not taking him home to be even later so I dropped him off at the library.
There was a puddle outside that kids were jumping in so then Ella had to do it too!
Sadly this was the best picture of Ella and Gavin!
Not only did Ella jump in the puddle over and over but then she discovered the sliding glass doors that we were not using and kept trying to use them.
During Happy Birthday, Ella ran over and stuck her hand on the cake. She kept trying to sneak through in other areas to get to the cake. She could get through a lot more spots than I could. I managed to stop her. She was being so bad. Then she got her cake and ate it so well.
Ella wouldn't leave to go to the car.
Then she said she was hiding.
Here is a video compilation of the party.
She fell asleep on the way home. Luckily I changed her clothes (mostly) in the car. I at least got all the wet clothes off.
We went to the store. This is how Ella likes to hold hands.
Ella got ice cream!

4.10
Ella woke up crying at 6:40. She did seem to try to go back to sleep but I ended up getting her to cuddle to see if that'd help.
She wanted to go to the park almost immediately.
Dave asked her if she wanted to watch Dan with him. She always wants to watch Dan. If he watches any other Twitch broadcaster she complains and wants to watch Dan. She said no that she wanted to watch Star Wars. So he turned that on. They watched for a little bit.
She had some cereal for breakfast. Then Dave had some. I wrote my weekly blog post during this time. Then I still needed to eat and she was done.
That's all I wrote initially.
I took Ella to the park even though it was raining.
I made this video of all the videos I took. It's a bit long so if you only watch a little make sure you go to 1:40 and watch those next 10 seconds or so.
Ella is showing her baby the park out the window.
We went to Safeway and Ella got a cart with the big car in the front. She was so excited. It's hard to tell but her baby is strapped in beside her.
She loved driving around. I mostly pushed her but I forced Dave to do it a few times just so I got some pictures of her being so happy.

29 Weeks (June 19)
I gained a lot of weight more recently and my belly got a lot bigger more recently. My inner thighs/groin have given me some pain this week when I overdo it. Sometimes I don't think I overdo it but then it hurts a bit. I always can't believe how huge I am compared to some more pregnant than me but then I am pretty comparable to last time.
I am so glad, he moved in there because it is so nice only having to go to the bathroom every few hours instead of constantly.
Dave is taking vacation in a month so I put an appointment on our calendar to go to Ikea so we can buy the dresser. I'd like to do it sooner so I'm not even more pregnant when trying to carry the box and assemble it. But if that doesn't happen, then we will go at the end of July.
I pulled out some of Ella's old clothes and pulled out the ones that will work for a boy. I'm swapping with another mom and she's giving me some boy clothes and I'm giving her some girl clothes. We keep delaying the swap. I'd like to see what I'm getting so I know what to take off the registry.
I bought 2 new pairs of maternity shorts knowing that 2 were not going to cut it going through the entire summer.
I'm still doing entirely too much but I keep telling people I need to get it in before mid August! I really wish I could get Ella to nap without a car ride. This will be very bad later. I remember Ella cried throughout entire car rides the first few months then slowly changed to only crying at red lights.
Ella sees my belly and will say "baby in there" and sometimes ask to kiss the baby. She often talks about the baby growing except it sounds like "going" since she can't say 2 consonants together that well yet.
The pictures from last time are at a slight front angle so it's hard to directly compare. The shirt definitely went down further over the belly last time.
Size of baby: Butternut Squash, 15.2 inches long from head to heel. My app on my phone says the baby weighs about 2.5 pounds.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I have gained 24.1 lbs overall with a 2.4 lb gain this week. In the past 6 weeks I have gained 16.5 lbs!
Maternity Clothes: Some of my maternity clothes are too short to fit over my belly now.
Sleep: Poly is the most annoying cat ever. Apparently I like to sleep on my right side now but I always liked to sleep on my left side. She will paw at my back and step on me and keep pawing at me until I turn over onto my left and put an afghan over me and on the bed in front of me. Then she lies down and goes to sleep. If I wake up when it's daylight then I have the worst time falling back asleep. But in the past few weeks sometimes I don't wake up at all in the middle of the night to pee. The baby seems to have moved and it is so much nicer for my bladder.
What I miss: I am realizing I miss lunch meat more as I was trying to plan food for Ella's birthday party.
Symptoms: My back is sore a lot. Ella dives on me and I slouch so both are not good for my back. It's a lot harder to reach for things.
Best moment this week: I made candy with some moms. That was fun.
Looking forward to: finally coming up with a name. Coming up with a name is so difficult! I asked Ella if she had a good name for her little brother and she said "poopy."
Exercise: I ran Monday then was in the pool with Ella for hours and I was pretty broken the rest of the day and the next day so I took it easy. We walked around SF on Saturday.
Same this time: My back hurt both times.
Different from last time: Last time I was in PA and had my shower. My weight gain is higher by about 20%! My belly button has been popped for a few weeks but it never was last time.

4.8
I had such an awful dream the last few hours of the night that my sleep sucked. Ella woke up at 8 and Dave had removed the gate from her doorway so she came running down. I just wanted to sleep more.
We left the house a little after 9. I took Dave to work then Ella to school. I didn't get home until 10:20. It was raining, so everyone at school was inside. Those dropoffs never go as well with Ella. She didn't want me to go. She did use the potty while I was there.
I got home and loaded pictures from my phone onto my computer. Then I started cleaning. OK I started cleaning in the middle of the 8 or so tries it took me to get it to work right. A few hundred worked then it wouldn't work again. I would switch USB slots and then it'd work again for a little but not all the pictures.
Cleaning was exhausting but it looked so much better. I took a few before pictures of some rooms. I forgot all the rooms. I took some pics midway through the process. I didn't take pictures after though. I don't know what I was thinking. Those should have been the ones I took.
The cleaners were here for about 2 hours in the afternoon and I was still picking up and pre-cleaning so there isn't junk everywhere. I also did 2 loads of laundry. I had a small break to make and eat lunch.
It's so much easier to clean and do things without a toddler sabotaging everything or at least just yelling for me.
Around 3, I went to take a little break from my nonstop working. I tried to watch a TV show since I am about a month behind on anything I was close to caught up on. The sound wouldn't work so I just turned on the cable box and that sound worked. I watched the show that was on the channel that just happened to be on. It was about this family considering moving off the grid. They looked at 3 houses and then stayed in one for 4 days to see if they could handle it. Some of them didn't do so well having to kill and eat the quail. Then I decided to just workout and do my bootcamp type workout with 1 minute timers instead of having to put on a video. I figured the game systems weren't even hooked up anyway. So I watched TV while doing it. I would pause it to record some video of my different exercises.
I left at 5 to pick up Ella. That was a few minutes later than I wanted to. She ran over to me right away wanting to leave. But then she was so slow to get her out of there. She had to stop and get a lollipop from Ms. Beth's office. Then had to give a lollipop to the kids that were leaving. She just was so slow moving too. She wanted to leave with other kids. Then we went to pick of Dave. Ella of course wanted to go swing at the park.
I made a quick dinner. I was surprised Ella actually ate it. Dave promised her chocolate after she ate. I thought that's why she was eating so well. But then she said she was done. I said "are you done eating your dinner and dessert?" and she said yes and that she wanted to wash her hands. So she didn't even get a hershey kiss.
Next I had her paint a shirt for a gift for her friend. She wanted to paint more. I asked if she wanted to paint a shirt for herself or another for Gavin and she chose to make one for Gavin. That was nice of her! I asked if she wanted to paint one for a little brother or sister and she said no. She just wanted to paint more for Gavin.
She got a bath after. I still have paint on me from it (hours later) and I gave her a bath and showered myself. It was just a bit messy!
I tucked Ella into bed. Dave decided she has been so good at not even trying to leave her room he would see if he could not put the gate up and she'd be good. Well she ran out 2 different times. She had a wet pull-up the 2nd time. She was banging on the bathroom door when I was in the shower. She also wanted to eat. Originally Dave told her no and she could eat in the morning but when she bugged the 2nd time, I offered her 5 crackers. I knew if she didn't eat she wakes up insanely early. She ate those right away and wanted more. She had a total of 15 crackers but the last couple were with her in bed when I tucked her in the final time.
Ella was talking in her bed. I thought it was cute. She was repeating yelling at some kids in her class. It was just pretty funny to me. She was talking about 2 kids the entire time. I think that lulled her to sleep because then she got quiet.
I got in bed and decided to try to actually go to sleep at 10:30.
