i gained roughly 2 lbs since i started lifting. but perhaps something is wrong w/ the scale. yesterday i was unhappy w/ my weight so i took off my pants and the new weight was 1.2 lbs higher than the old one.
it's ok if lifting makes you gain a little weight. it will still change your body for the better.
i told laura the same thing.
i feel like a jerk telling people any things because i am not a doctor or a real personal trainer. all i have is things coaches and nutritionists have told me and personal experience.
i knew that. i've been told it too. i thought i'd make a post about it so later i say "y did this jump 2 lbs?" and if i happen to check LJ because that's what i do then i'll see that it's cuz i started lifting weights.
i'm going to take a picture of my good knee and a picture of my bad knee for you (i hope it photographs)

muscle weighs more than fat. you're gaining muscle and burning fat. but something could be wrong with the scale as well.
