i wouldn't shovel if i were you guys. you both have front wheel drive. with those big, heavy engines over the tires, those cars surely have no problem getting through the snow.
i can drive that cavalier anywhere, and have driven it in snow half a foot deep. it just keeps going along, maybe slipping a bit, but always pulls through.
well the driveway was about 6 inches high but compact at times. there were 2 layers of ice in that that compacted it. but the foot+ at the end of the driveway was the worst. right now the pile on the side of the driveway near the road is up to pb's waist and i started just shoveling out to the road and over at the dead end. it was easier than lifting more.
