A Day's Worth of Twitter

01:34:06 PM - I cannot believe they pack up our stuff tomorrow.

Tank: Gap (from 2006)
Jeans: Express
Hoodie: F21
Shoes: Brooks
Shoes: Sperry (from somewhere online)
Shirt and Jeans: JCP
I went running with Adrienne in the morning.  We ran 6 miles then walked 2.  We ran at a leisurely 9:47 pace. It was nice. I've realized how easy it is to loose your endurance.  I need to keep up the mid to long runs so I don't lose it all again. I think it might be 90% gone.
I took Poly to my parents so they could watch her for a few days. It was just me and her.  She was pretty good until I got on the Turnpike.
Dave and I did facetime so he could see Poly (and me).  After I left, Poly was resting on the kitchen chair.
While i was there, Poly looked out their sliding glass door.  Sometimes she half hid behind the curtains to look out the door.  Their door is taller than ours so she sees better while sitting.

Dave and I packed.  We missed Poly.  We should have gone to sleep early but I was up past midnight.

6.1

I drove dave to work in the morning.  I had plans to run with someone and with being down to 1 car I had to do it. I wish he went into work later or our run was scheduled earlier though.  I had to go back home after.  I updated my calendar site while I was killing time though so at least I got something done. Granted I spent 15 extra minutes drivin that morning since I had to go back home.
Then I off to run.  Megan and I did some trail running in the rain.  We ran for 6 miles.  The first quarter mile was really tough. We were both so out of breath. We ran at a 12 minute mile pace.  It was a little difficult to find the North Park Trails. The first half mile or so weren't on the marked trails but then we got to them.  We were hoping this would prepare us for the Laurel Highlands Ultra.  At least we knew to expect 12 minute mile pace.   I wore my old shoes and was sure glad I did because they got a bit muddy.  My legs got pretty muddy too.
After I got home, I showered and stayed in my robe while doing more computer stuff.  Then I had to hurry to get dressed to head to lunch.
I had to pick Dave up.  I had to wait to get out of parking lot. There were some geese in the road (just in case you can't really tell from the pictures).
We went to Double Wide for lunch.  Paulo joined us and had the waitress take our picture.
Before Dave left work, They put a file cabinet in his cube opening to make it so that he couldn't leave.  They sure were nice to him when he was leaving. They made him feel awesome. They told him they'd miss him. It all seemed very nice... unlike what my coworkers did for me.
I got home and took a nap. Day 1 of joblessness and I already took a nap.   Then I went and updated my calendar site some more.

Dave and I watched TV at home.   The first day of the rest of our lives.... or something like that.

5.28 - Going Away Party

My parents had a going away party for me.  Prior to that Dave and I went to North Park to run/walk. It was far too hot going there at noon so we cut our workout short and only did 2.5 miles.

We went to my parents house a little early to get Poly used to the place before everyone started showing up.
Some relatives came that I haven't seen since my wedding. We wanted to get pictures but mainly failed. Even in the group shot we were missing people from that side of the family. My mom's side of the family is the short side. Compare that with a family picture of my dad's side and in the other picture I'm wearing 5 inch wedges.
Poly had enough of everyone. Too many kids tried to play with her even when she hid under furniture.  After they left, she just chilled out.

The party was 4-9. A little bit after 10, Dave and I left and people were still there. Actually as we were getting in the car, my cousin was just showing up. I was sad I had to work the next day so I couldn't stay too late.

PS those are my "cherry" shorts and not my "orange" ones but they look so similar.

10:18:17 AM - Now I'm only behind on 16 blog posts if you count my 8 that are scheduled.
12:50:40 PM - our freezer is full. We move too soon to eat it all. Oh boy.
01:44:08 PM - I'm stressing out again. I have 2 days until they pack up my house.
06:24:20 PM - just signed our lease. can't believe how soon we are moving!
06:24:48 PM - @lisafilipek I thought of that except that we need to keep our house NEAT and cooking food and serving food makes more of a mess :(

5.27

I went for a run with Jill's group. But the group was just Jill and me.  We were going to do 10 but I was  a big baby complaining about the heat so we only did a little over 8. A few hundred yards from our car we came across these geese. The babies couldn't get up the sidewalk. Jill coaxed them to a lower part.
The left picture was right after the run.  The right picture was a bit later (after my shower).  Notice my tan line. I can never get a good picture of it. I feel like it is worse in person.   (BTW I have been running 3-4 days a week and haven't even been looking at my data let alone updating my summary excel sheet let alone updating my excel tabs for each specific run. I am so behind. At least all the overall data lately is on Garmin but I don't have documented who I went with, the temperature, how I felt, or whatever else I wanted to write down.)
I have no idea what else I did because that was too long ago but I know it involved TV based on the pictures above. And I know Dave fell asleep while we were watching TV.
Then later or maybe starting at 7pm or so I started watching some TV.  I finished watching One Tree Hill. The series finale made me want to watch all 9 seasons again. I told Dave he should get the series for me. Well it was on Netflix so at 11 PM he came down and showed me how to watch it. I told him not to because I'd be up all night. He did anyway.
Then I watched season 1 until 6:30 AM when I figured I needed to go to sleep.  I had to cover my head under the covers to fall asleep because it was so bright.  I already know what happens in that series and yet the episodes still made me cry all over again.  Good show.  Now I need to find new series as good as One Tree Hill.  I do think the first 5 or 6 seasons were better than the last few.  They all just got too excessively successful. I mean how many group of friends will have an author, NBA player, famous singer, fashion designer who owns her own company, record label owner, and I forget what else.

10:12:09 AM - @mikecherepko More or less often than orange shorts? Because I wear my orange shorts all the time. I need normal shorts I think.
08:13:40 PM - Frozen peanut butter fudge is tasty.

5.24

Dave and I woke up at 6:15 and cleaned until 7:40. Then we got ready for work.

At work  my computer wouldn't work, my 9-10 meeting ran until 10:45, and then my computer wouldn't work. It was not a fun morning.  I wanted to do some work on my Toastmasters Speech but Dave wasn't having any parts of that. We went to eat lunch first. I didn't want to. Well I left my speech notes on my desk. It was not good then Dave thinks I'm crazy for stressing.

At one point during the speech I looked down at my legs to see how bad they were shaking.

I had a CARB meeting very shortly after Toastmasters and it didn't go well. I mean it went better than normal but I didn't do all the trending I normally do.  I got criticized a lot. Their versions of definitions were not correct.  I just went with them and said that a CAD could do what they like.  The next one will sure have fun.

After the CARB, I had more computer troubles. So there was yet another wasted 30 minutes.

After work, 6 of us went to Aviva for a farewell dinner. It was really nice. Brie organized it. Then after Brie went with us to get yogurt and we talked for hours. Most of the talking was about politics and I was silent but still we were there.   Dinner and dessert lasted more than 4 hours.
Then we got home and Dave's wallet was not there. At lunch he realized he didn't have it. He hoped it was at home. It was not. Too bad we cleaned the entire house so it's so hard to find places to look. Everywhere is neat but we hid so much stuff everywhere. We also threw out a ton of stuff.  We got some garbage bags out of the trash to go through them but still didn't find anything.

I had no idea what I wore and I forgot to take my picture. Rereading what I typed for the rest of this post, I remembered wearing a skirt based on looking at my legs to see them shaking. Then I remembered the CARB meeting and how I wore my 3/4 Teal shirt from F21.  I then remembered wearing my pink skirt. I forget if I wore purple or black shoes though. But the outfit was super similar to May 3. I wore a different necklace though.
Look at my BodyMedia fit data. I labeled some things but I didn't know how to draw brackets so I drew arrows at the start and finish.

5.29

Cardigan & Skirt: Express
Shirt: NY&Co
Shoes: Mudd from Kohl's
All of a sudden there was a huge hail storm at work. I took pictures after it and I missed all the good stuff. It was a fun time.

After work I was leaving to go walk at North Park with Jen and realized I forgot to take my daily picture.  I hurried up and set the timer on my camera and took it. I had the camera on top of the cube wall. I am pretty sure people saw me.  Carpooling with Dave and having my camera put away made it so I didn't take my picture in the morning.

Jen and I walked 5 miles. Then we went to dinner.

I cleaned or watched TV or used the computer or all of those after.

A Day's Worth of Twitter

12:50:24 AM - I stayed up too late. At least Megan drives first http://t.co/blSztV74
05:20:23 AM - Wow is it too early in the morning. 30 minutes ago was even worse. At least it is somewhat daylight now.
07:10:02 PM - I asked @polahbea what matches my shorts and he said 2004. I think I bought these in 2004 but I just refound them. http://t.co/ibelBf81

03:02:28 AM - We made it in the house. We were resourceful.

A Day's Worth of Twitter

01:39:08 PM - @angelineevans do you run inside or outside?
02:37:53 PM - @angelineevans well that is probably half the problem. You need to run slower to be able to read while running.
02:38:42 PM - @angelineevans to get to your goal, set the treadmill to 6.0 mph then when you can't do anymore slow or walk. Everyday you will go further.
04:29:27 PM - @angelineevans you could also run the first 5 minutes without reading and do it faster then go to reading.
07:32:06 PM - We are supposed to be boarding but the flight crew just got on & they mentioned still having to do safety checks first. Will we leave ontime

5.30

I swear work is trying to give me a heart attack. How can I get so much done so close to when I leave?

I got an allergy shot before I lost insurance.  There was only a little bit of serum left so they told me to call my allergy doctor.  They gave me the sheet and it was expired.  It was last batch too.  They never seem to look. At least I'll be getting rid of them.

Dave went to the gym after work but I did not. I was too busy with work.

After work I had to rush home to get my Stampin' Up stuff and head to Lindsay's for the last Stampin' Up Party.   I left there close to 10 PM. We made 3 cards.

I worked for 2 hours after I got home.

I finally wore this skirt with something other than my black shirt.  The skirt is 7 years old and the shirt is older.

Carpooling with Dave put a damper on getting my normal daily pictures.

I don't have any pictures of Poly because my parents were watching. I wanted them to email or text pictures to me but they didn't.

A Day's Worth of Twitter

09:46:20 PM - We found a place to live. Now we can have fun tomorrow.
09:48:09 PM - @angelineevans I've timed it with friends and doing 3:1 the running was faster so end time was within seconds of each other for 5 miles

A Day's Worth of Twitter

12:41:25 AM - My jeans are far too tight. I think I need to buy new pants.
11:22:18 AM - @angelineevans That's a good goal. Is always mine. If I added distance I still wanted to get that down to 10 min mi. I'm still working on it
07:31:01 PM - @angelineevans Do you run continuously? Have you tried Gallaway method of run/walk?

Shirt: F21
Jeans: Express
Shoes: Brooks
Armband: BodyMedia Fit
Cat: Animal Friends
Poly was in the sink.  Dave turned on the water. She didn't even drink it like I hear other cats do.
We had multiple appointments for showings of the house so we couldn't just ride around.  Dave and I picked up pizza and we went to the park and ate it. Poly enjoyed the park.  Since the appointments gave us ranges we weren't really sure how much time to kill.
A little bit later Dave and I went to Kohl's to look for a new wallet for him.  They didn't have anything good.  Then we went to the mall. We went to JCP first. They didn't have any good wallets. We were going to buy shorts but they seemed to be out.  So then he bought a few T-shirts. I like the new JCP pricing.  On our way out of the mall I went in F21 to find some shorts. I'm so hot anymore and don't have shorts so I wanted to buy some. I tried on orange, cherry, white, and a blue. The blue were too high cut and hit my gut too high and weren't good for sitting. The white ones were a little see through so I didn't get those.  The cherry and orange were good. They looked very similar. The cherry ones didn't look like cherry but more like orange.   I wished they had more colors in my size. They had a wide variety of colors and fits and styles but the only 2 that worked for me looked very similar.
The styles were a little different. One was a little more casual than the other. Both were a little short but maybe I'm not too old for shorter shorts.  Now I just have to figure out what to wear with these. So far I know white and blue. I want to buy some patterned shirts to match but I bet I won't.  At least shorts at F21 are pretty inexpensive. I figure colorful shorts won't be in style next year so $10-$12 is a good range to potentially only last one summer.  I do wish I had some normal shorts though.

We ran into Paulo's wife and daughter at the mall.
We watched TV after we got home.  We probably cleaned and did other stuff but I can't remember now.

Shirt: Loft (purchased February 2009 and was my favorite shirt for awhile)
Jeans: Express
Purse: Kohl's ($18 and I love it)

Photos taken outside of Double Wide.
We finally carried up the broken down boxes upstairs. They were just sitting on the basement floor for far too long.  We swept the basement.
Then I went and sold my car. I'm sad I didn't take any final pictures of my car. We then took the boxes to the recycle place.  We took Poly with us.  The first Realtor looked at our house to preview it for her out of town clients. Then other people looked at our house.  We were gone during that time.
Dave and I got Wendy's on the way home and ate it while watching Community.  We watched 2 episodes then we both napped.  I set my alarm for 20 minutes but kept resetting that. I napped over an hour.  Then I just sat there for a good 30 minutes in a half asleep state.

I started making collages for my blog. I'm so behind.  After a little bit I went to look up all the results of the NA-YGN runners at the recent 5k.  I took those times and sorted them. Then I looked at race pictures to save all the ones of the people from NA-YGN.  It took a long time because there were so many photos from so many photographers that you had to go through each time frame a few times.
I booted up my work laptop to get the list of 5k teams and ended up talking to Adam for over an hour.  That was nice.

We put one of our Ikea Tables on Craigslist and sold it.  We still have more things to sell.  I don't even know if Dave put everything on Craigslist that we want to sell. He put on a bookshelf but we ended up just donating that to Goodwill to get it out of the house.

We went to Double Wide for dinner.  I ordered ribs.  They were awful.  I can't figure out quite why. But I could barely cut the meet at all. It was not cooked right but also seemed to be fat/meet mixture. I had 3 bites of decent meat.  Bones were going the wrong way too.  The fries were OK but it was not worth $14.  Dave loved his food again though.

When we went in Double Wide they said 30 minute wait and they'd call a cell phone when our table was ready.  They didn't have buzzers. I like the cell phone idea better than the buzzer because we could go out of range.  We headed to Target in that 30 minutes. We bought laundry detergent, raser blades, hair product (for Dave), and a tooth brush. All of those were things we needed.  I wanted to look at purses but I just walked right by them.

I got the peanut butter pie at Double Wide. I wasn't a huge fan but it was OK. It was too chocolatey.  Dave got ice cream after at Dairy Queen since he didn't get dessert at the restaurant.

We got home at 9:30 PM. We keep eating dinner too late anymore.
We got home and watched some TV then went to sleep a little early.

May Workout Goals - Overall Summary

May started off really low with all forms of exercise. Running was even low but at least I did that the first 10 days. I didn't do anything else in that time.  I feel like so far it's a rest month. I haven't even done abs or foam roller at home like I have done in the past.  Also with the massive cleaning and throwing junk away, I'm getting a lot of calorie burn without specifically exercising. Most of my recent purchases are now too big.  I'm so far from on track yet I'm the least concerned about it. I guess posting to be held accountable is not working this month. About 2/3 of the way through the month I decided I should quit my goals this month.  After the month ended I realized I hadn't updated anything to keep track. I wouldn't have had anything to fill out if it weren't for my Garmin keeping track for me. I forget everything else even if I did anything else.

Summary
  1. Complete 16 cardio workouts - Completed 16
  2. Complete 8 core workouts - Completed 2
  3. Frequency: Run 8 time - Completed 13
  4. Run 50 total miles - Completed 62.97
  5. Workout with Dave 5 times - Completed 4
  6. Lift weights 6 times on my own - Completed 0
  7. Attend Body Pump 4 times - Completed 2
  8. Have 3 double workout days - Completed 0
  9. Stretch for 10 consecutive minutes 5 times - Completed 0
  10. Do foam roller exercises 5 times - Completed 0
  11. Perform yoga or a similar group fitness class 1 time - Completed 0
I have a few other goals that are related to exercise but aren't me working out.
  1. Have another photo shoot to get some athletic pictures for at the top of this post.  - Don't think I did
  2. No more than 12 rest days all month  - Oops
  3. Put my monthly workout goals in excel or some program so I have them all together and can pull some data based on that.  - Partially done
  4. Make more collages with exercise photos and add them to my exercise gallery
