I took 2 pictures almost identical to each other. Usually my poses are nowhere near that similar.

After 29 days, here is the breakdown of what I wore. Well I didn't self-check my data so before my final 30 for 30 graph, I will check it and perhaps fix it.  Does the above graph make you change your mind on what things I should wear for my final day of the challenge? I have quite a few options left of what to wear. I just have to make sure I didn't war the combination before. Sometimes I think about options so much, I think I wore them, but I really didn't.

Before work Poly was a cutie playing with a ponytail holder and then resting after she won.

At work on Friday's, I always assume it'll be an easy day because half the people are out for 9/80.  Fridays always end up being the busiest day of the week.  Dave had training at my location today so we carpooled. That meant I had to actually leave at a certain time. His training went over so then I ended up doing more work so when he got to my cube, I was not ready to leave. It took me over 20 minutes to get settled and pack up. It would have been sooner but he kept interrupting me.

After work Poly had some visitors. I took 1 picture but my camera is in the other room and it didn't upload yet. Along with visiting Poly, we had spaghetti. Cut spaghetti is the best invention ever. I got to eat it with a spoon. I love it. I have about 3/4 lb left. I can't wait to eat it all up. We all watched The Manchurian Candidate. Well Poly probably only watched half.

They left and I spent 1.5 hours blogging. Time to go to sleep.

Blog Stats

Screen shot from a few minutes ago.

Recently I have been checking out my blog stats.  Sometimes I think most of them are me. I never think all of them are me because some are from different countries or viewed with web browsers that I don't use.   I notice in the past days that I make posts are the days that I have more hits.

I know there are many ways to follow a blog. I click follow when I find a blog I like. Sometimes I also click follow in the blogger thing at the top of the page. But I don't even use those. I always copy and past the blog into google reader and that's actually how I follow it.  When I post, I share it in google reader so then it goes to my buzz. So that's 4 ways right there that someone could read my blog w/o even having it in their favorites.

I like that there are so many ways to follow. I didn't even name them all. I just named what I do.  But then I don't like it, because I don't know how many people read my blog. I wish I knew.  Therefore I'm asking if you read this post, can you comment or let me know in some way that you read it?

I can't wait to see how my stats drop over the next few days now that my clicks don't count. I didn't realize I could click something to have them not count before. But I think I'll end up changing the setting back because I'll get too depressed that my page views are so low.

August 25 continued

OK I realized I forgot to post about the rest of my day.  Besides meetings, I was busy.

I went to spinning with Jen after work. It was the first time she was ever at class. It's the first time I've gone in probably a month and a half.  I was ready to die. It seemed so hard. We would recover going "down to 90 rpms" even though usually we recover going 70 or so.  We also kept cranking our resistance up but only decreased it a couple times.  I thought it was rough. But I didn't think it was a super good workout.  Then I loaded my gowear fit and I only had 2 minutes of vigorous activity.

Spinning was 45 minutes. After spinning, I showered (the sudden drop in the data above) and then I went to eat dinner with Haley. Notice how I almost had as much calorie burn at dinner as I did while I was exercising like a crazy person. 

I can't even remember what I did after dinner and before getting ready for bed. I know when getting ready for bed I picked out my clothes for the following day and those involved my sandals. I had to touch up my nail polish for that. Well I looked everywhere and can't find the red nail polish i have been using. I used a different red. You can tell it was different but from 5 feet away you probably can't so I just went with it.

28 of 30 (August 26)

The end of this challenge is near. I need a new challenge to make me remember to take my daily pictures and to arrive at some goal. I was thinking of trying to wear everything in my closet. Allowing repeats of pants but with a different shirt or vice versa and see how far I get. But I also thought I should try to just wear all the summery stuff before the end of summer.  I keep thinking about what to wear the day after this challenge ends. I have no idea.  But more importantly, what should I wear for the last day of the challenge? I feel like it should be good.

It's hard to tell but the shoes are purple. I wish this pink cardigan did not shrink. I fear the belt looked bad from the back.

I just wasn't feeling it when I got home at 10:15 PM so I only took 1 picture.  Jen took a few while we were out so maybe I can get those from her at some point.

My day started with my alarm going off super early and I didn't know why. Then I remembered; I set it for that time in order to get to body pump on-time.

I had a somewhat busy day at work, but I did get to eat lunch with Dave and have a smoothie with Jen.

I left to go to the NA-YGN picnic around 4:30. I got down to the Double Wide fairly easily but then I waited to get gas for about 10 minutes. That was super annoying. I couldn't handle the stress of parallel parking so I just parked in a garage 1 block further away.
I didn't like the picnic that much. They didn't have enough food.

Then Jen, Chad, and I went to Fuddruckers. We were less than 15 minutes away so I talked them into going, plus it was closer to where they were headed anyway.  Well it would have been a ton better if I didn't already have french fries for 2 meals that day and if I didn't already eat dinner. I just got a large order of fries and used their cheese sauce.  It wasn't quite as good as I remembered.  Jen commented that it was like 5 guys there but better. The liquid cheese makes Fuddruckers a million times better than 5 guys.

As soon as I get home, Dave said it was time for bed so we didn't watch TV together. Poly sure had to try to be the center of everything I was doing while getting ready for bed.

I ended up staying up later because Dave asked if I read an email he sent me. It was full of numbers and our projected savings account balance over the next few years and another tab was how much tuition Dave will have to pay back Westinghouse for if he leaves at certain periods of time.  It was a fun file to look at. It was 30 minutes of wonderfulness.  I'm a bit disappointed that Dave doesn't want to get a patio because he wants to save up to $13,000 for paying back work.

I did some KenKen in bed but fell asleep mid-puzzle.

I wore my thigh highs today because I just couldn't my regular pantyhose up enough or when I did they were pulled like they were rotated too much on my leg. It was awful. I tried 3 times. After that I went to the thigh highs.

I finally tucked in my shirt so you could see some of the skirt detail.

When I came upstairs to start making blog posts, Kitty joined me and tried to type. I mean she did type. I guess she was trying to send IMs but I deleted them.

I slept in today.
I had an hour long meeting with everyone in my department.
I had a 2 hour long officers' meeting.
I had another 2 hour club meeting.
Overall I barely could get any work done. Why does it all have to fall on the same day?

26 of 30 (August 24)

 I still wish I had a red necklace.

Today was the first day for the belt. I liked it. I wish it would stay put better. What do you think of the belt? Do you like when people add belts to their wardrobe? Do you add belts?  I like when other people do it but mainly never do it. I'm trying though.

What didn't work for this outfit was the tucked in shirt with the tucked in cami underneath. They would always come untucked in the back.  I noticed every time I got up I was retucking or at least checking if it was tucked. I also noticed people looking at me when I was doing this.  The first picture above was actually the third one I took. I took the first 2 and looked at them and noticed that the belt was too loose so I tightened it.

Here is my graph after 26 days. I at least wore each one once. My purple shoes are light. The light purple shirt was the shirt worn most. If you want to see what article goes with what thing, check out my 30 for 30 post.

Yes I do realize I didn't actually post 2 of these yet.
Also today was day 26. I'm a bit behind.  I will post them. I may back date them to avoid confusion.

Day 22 is the most interesting since I didn't actually wear shoes. I almost put on shoes for the picture but though that was cheating.

Day 23 is pretty interesting and if Day 22 wasn't there, that would have won. Someone took that picture at work. I forgot to take off my badge.

Day 24 was a Saturday and I wore that to a wedding. I also used my purple clutch.

Earrings: Target (They are black and silver. I bought my mom them and then I bought me some a few weeks later)

I love this shirt. I don't know why I didn't iron it earlier to get more use out of it in the challenge.
I don't think the pants look the greatest in these pictures, but I sure like them. They fit like my dark gray VS pants and way better than all my other pants.

 I found Poly on the washer chewing on my bikini strings.

 Kitty got Dave's shorts too.

 I was at the computer. I took some cute pictures of Poly.

She moves and I take her picture. She's cute in all the positions.  I took more on my other camera but those don't upload automatically.

Not so Bye Bye Hornets

Today Timmy was over and got stuck but a hornet.  We learned there is a new nest right under the top step going out our patio door. He forgot how bad the sting hurts right away.

I guess we took out their nests so they just had to make new ones.

Minutes after the sting (I think)

An hour or 2 after the sting.

Timmy went out and used our hornet spray to spray the nest. I think you are supposed to spray it at dusk but I forgot at dusk so good thing he did it.

I have so many hornet posts and feel like there will be more. It's almost like I should have a hornets label. I haven't created one yet though. I'll hold off and wait and see if another one appears.

9/80 Friday (August 20)

Friday, August 20, was my 9/80 day off and I didn't work! Good thing because family was in town and I wanted to hang out with them. 

I was late to Aunt Elaine's to eat stuffed cabbage because I had to finish laundry.

Aunt Nancy made stuffed cabbage. It wasn't quite like gram's but gram had more years of making it. 

Aunt Elaine also had other food but none of gram's recipes.

Aunt Nancy brought some wine so they drank that. I only took a sip of Timmy's red wine.

Then we left there and went to Leuhm's to buy Dave beef jerky.  Then to my parents for a little then it was off to Joann and Jimmy's. Joann is Uncle Ron's sister. They had a picnic there for all the out of the guests but my parents and I were invited.  Dave didn't go (of course) but everyone else from our family went. 

At Leuhm's Timmy saw a carton of candy cigarettes.  He bought them. 3 bucks for the carton. Then he tried to be cool and put a pack in his shirt sleeve. Each cigarette is 4.8 calories.

Jason and Monica came to the picnic after the rehearsal dinner.  Little Jason came too and wanted to play bocce. He watched for awhile and Aunt Dottie somehow got him to sit on her lap. I thought it was pretty impressive how he sat on her lap like that and just watched.

Once the game was over, a few of the kids rolled the balls back and forth with Jason. He liked that. 

For the first time in probably all of history my dad asked to leave before my mom did. I left at the same time they did and it was a little after 10pm.  I got home shortly after 11, told Dave about my day, and went to sleep. 

At the picnic, I met a lot of new people and I forgot most of their names instantly. 

I said I didn't work on this 9/80 day off but actually I did reply to some work emails from my phone. It wasn't anything major though. 

I was really jealous of Joann and Jimmy's flat yard, patio, many tables outside, and shade trees. They did just have some regular tables out there. It made me think that I could possibly have a picnic outside.  I still don't think I could pull it off.  I live "too far away" as my family says and my friends all like weird things or don't like each other or don't have the same interests as each other.  Also every time I think of planning something, something else comes up for me or everyone else is busy so then I just don't plan it.  Also Dave doesn't like lots of people so then it's difficult to get him to help cook or something if he doesn't even want to be part of anything. He always tries to tell me that he will be out of town when I'm asking to have a picnic. Or he tells me that he will hide upstairs.

Bye Bye Hornets (August 19)

Finally Frye Pest Management called me back. It took a few calls for me to get him to return my call. I was spraying the nests myself but I don't think it was working.

Previously I posted pictures of the hornets nests.  I don't think I had pictures of all of them.

 So much for paying to have the nest removed.

 The white is where he sprayed in the ground to get rid of that nest.

Now I wonder if we are supposed to clean the bits of nest off or if the rain will take care of it. Does anyone know?

I never even checked if he removed the nest on the back steps. I forgot to tell him about the one outside the dining room.
