December Workout Goals - Overall

I've been posting my goals and showing my progress the last few months.  I plan to continue with this. Prior to the last week I seemed to only be on track for 2 of the 8 goals. My shins are hurting from taking time off running so I severely doubted I would be even close to my 40 mile mark.  Week 3 was really hard with being so busy that the goals that I was close to before, I not got further away. It was no good.
  1. Complete 18 cardio workouts - Completed 19
  2. Do 12 core workouts  - Completed 13  
  3. Frequency: Run 10 times  - Completed 12
  4. Distance: Run 40 total miles  - Completed 40.04
  5. Workout with Dave 12 times  - Completed 10
  6. Lift weights 5 times on my own  - Completed 2  
  7. Perform yoga 2 times  - Completed 2
  8. Attend Body Pump 3 times  - Completed 2
I completed 5 and was close on 2 more. That was way closer than I thought I'd be.  It was these last 3 days of running that helped me out on 3 of them.  Overall I think it was a success. December is difficult with being so busy and traveling.  This month was also challenging with my shin problems.

    3. 12/3 - ran .5 then elliptical for 12

    5. 12/7 - 16 min on the exercise bike
    6. 12/11 - run at the gym
    7. 12/12 - run at North Park with Jen
    8. 12/18 - run on treadmill at Bally's
    9. 12/19 - Run then elliptical at Bally's
    10. 12/21 - Run 
    11. 12/22 - Run
    12. 12/23 - Treadmill
    13. 12/24 - Exercise bike
    14. 12/26 - 30 min on exercise bike
    15. 12/27 - 30 min on exercise bike
    16. 12/29 - Run with Callie
    17. 12/30 - Run with Jen
    18. 12/31 - Race
    19. 12/31 - Evening Run
  2. Do 12 core workouts 
    1. 12/1 - 6 minutes (look I stepped it up from my normal 5 minutes)
    2. 12/3 - 5 minutes
    3. 12/5 - during Body Pump
    4. 12/8 - 5 minutes
    5. 12/11 - 5 minutes
    6. 12/14 - 5 minutes (tough)
    7. 12/18 - 5 minutes
    8. 12/21 - during Body Pump
    9. 12/22 - during Body Flow
    10. 12/24 - 5 minutes
    11. 12/26 - 7 minutes (Plus some more with Poly on me that didn't count)

    4.  0.5 (12/19) + 2.25 (12/21) + 4.5 (12/22) + 1.5 (12/24) = 8.25 {18.65}
    5. 5.02 (12/29) + 9.56 (12/30) + 7.32 (12/31) =  21.39 {40.04} (I counted the walk after a run on 12/30 to get all the miles in. #hacked)
  5. Workout with Dave 12 times
    1. 12/2 - Gym at work
    2. 12/3 - Gym at work (Dave was lightheaded so got cut short)
    3. 12/4 - 32 min walk
    4. 12/5 - 2.4 mile walk
    5. 12/11 - Gym at work (1 hour total)
    6. 12/18 - Bally's
    7. 12/19 - Bally's
    8. 12/21 - Track
    9. 12/24 - Gym
    10. 12/29 - Abs
  6. Lift weights 5 times on my own. 
    1. 12/11 - Legs (45 min)
    2. 12/23 - Arms (45 min)
  7. Perform yoga 2 times. (decreased from November's Goal but increased from November's actual)
    1. 12/22 - Was actually Body Flow
    2. 12/27 - 15 minutes of p90x (skipping around)
  8. Attend Body Pump 3 times. (decreased from November's Goal but increased from November's actual)
    1. 12/5
    2. 12/21
      (I could have done this Friday. I was around but then I would have been sore for the 5k so I couldn't so I missed my goal)
Last December I posted goals and didn't meet any of them.

Rest Days: Tuesday, the 6th
Friday, the 9th (but I did walk around the Science Center and judge projects for 4 hours.)
Saturday, the 10th (cleaned and cooked for a party)
Tuesday, the 12th
13, 15, 16, 17 (oh I'm a slacker)
