For my Style the Scavenged Seven, the shirt part of it. 1/7 there for the second week of doing it. I guess I'm keeping this shirt now. I didn't love it or hate it though. I have room in my closet but it'd be nice to have spare room. I need to think things through.
It is the third week time wise but since I thought I was going to go to Colorado, I did not do it the 2nd week.
I ran with Christina in the morning and hung out with Poly the rest of the day. Nothing too interesting. I am happy to make plans to run with Christina because otherwise I would be lazy and sleep in and then it'd be too hot to run.
Well, I think your blog has become my official favorite, Colleen, b/c I seem to check it more than any other these days. I stumbled across it a few months ago through Angeline's New Professional blog, and I kept coming back because you're a runner too, b/c I like your style, and b/c I fell in love with Poly! She's too adorable and always brings a smile to my day. Please keep up your great chronicles! : )
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Anita (in San Francisco)
Anita, Thanks for that comment. That's the nicest one anyone ever left for me. I'm so happy someone actually likes it. Thank you for commenting. Do you have a blog?
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a blog! Unfortunately, the closest thing I have to a blog is my Daily Mile account, where I track my running and make boring notations. I don't really have enough time to maintain a blog, post regularly, and keep it graphically appealing. I really admire how often and how consistently you post--on everything from Poly to your outfits to your running to your potatoes recipe--and yet you always claim to be napping! I don't know how you do it!
ReplyDeleteOther people said they don't know how I do it also. I don't work out enough. I nap because I end up staying up until 1:30 AM on a worknight blogging (that was Monday night of this week). I've realized I spend longer analyzing running data than actually running sometimes. I need to snap out of my data addiction.
ReplyDeleteWhat's your email address or your dailymile site? I have a dailymile account but rarely update it. I can't keep up with everything. I'm SmilinColleen on there. Maybe I'll start using it.
I'll look for you over on Daily Mile. I think I'm just plain "Anita" over there, and my email is afrances@mac.com. I don't know why, but I'm having some technical trouble with the dailymile site--it won't post my comments in the forums and is fussy when I try to interact with other people on there. I can't figure out if it's some issue with my settings, and their tech support hasn't responded to my inquiries. But at least I'm still able to track my running and make some notes on it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I know what you mean about being up late--I get sucked into staying up late to read blogs, and sometimes, like right now, dawdle too long when I should be getting ready for work. My cat died a few months ago, but like Poly, she used to trap me into catnapping too, which was a good way to get the rest I needed. I've been trying to be more disciplined about getting to bed at a more reasonable hour lately so I can get up early to run. I signed up for a half marathon at the end of the month, so that's got me a little more motivated than usual to put in the mileage to prepare for it.
Have a good day! : )
