trying out her potty with clothes on (and she peed) |
From 10-11:30 we went to Panera for a Stampin' Up meet and greet. One person didn't show. I could have cancelled if she didn't even sign up because Tobe only drove down because someone signed up. Then Marie came because I told her we would be there anyway. Ella was a bit difficult but Dave wouldn't let me leave her home with him. She got more difficult then finally I could pack up and she put her head on my shoulder. I knew she was ready for a nap.
Ella fell asleep on the way home. I got home and Dave was organizing the closet. I did tell him to be productive when I left. He said he wouldn't be. He was!
We let Ella sleep in the car with the door open while we organized another half hour. Then she woke up. I nursed her to sleep and the transfer to the crib failed so she napped on me. AGAIN.
Then we went to Chick-fil-A. It was around 3 PM. Ella didn't eat her meal at all. She liked fries dipped in ketchup or dipped in honey roasted bbq sauce. One time she put her mouth down right on the ketchup container. I did keep telling her "no hands" when she'd dip. She wanted to dip her fingers in the suck it right off.
In Target she did eat all her fruit. She started getting fussy and it took me a few aisles to think to get her fruit out. She gobbled it all up. Ella picked out her Easter basket. I took a picture. It's her basket forever so she better like it.
After we got home she was awfully clingy to me. We did a few things then she went into bed. She actually cried in her crib. It's the first time in awhile that she even cried the slightest bit. But she only cried about a minute.
Dave and I watched the rest of House of Cards. I can't believe the season ended like that and I have to wait so long for more! (And now it's been a month and I can't even remember what it's about.)
Ella and Dave have so much fun together. Ella gets so happy when they hang out. Dave walks her around and she is just so excited. He holds her and explains things to her and I can tell she is thinking. I will try to get her to do something while he's at work and she doesn't and then he's home on a Saturday and she does it. I think to impress him.
My fingers are still bad and I do something and it just makes me wince so bad in pain. The knuckles don't hurt anymore. The biggest segment of the pointer is the one that hurts. It's like it's bruised to the touch but there is no visible bruise. Dave thinks I sprained it. I haven't gone to the doctors. It's been 2 weeks.
