1/20/21 instastories

The kids were all eating breakfast and watching TV. Liam wants to go swing. Miles and Liam used the swings. Ella was a bit delayed with school because we watched inauguration. Miles and Liam are at my legs. Liam even watched the coverage while he had a diaper change. Ella did school from the kitchen table. While walking upstairs I noticed what Liam built. Yay Shutterfly has unlimited free pages deal. Liam and Miles ate lunch at the little tables. Liam is a trouble maker with my desk drawers. Liam stole lipstick and hid. Nap time. Then more swing time. Liam was all over me during the PTA meeting. He's a trouble maker. At least I know he could clean up the books sometime. Just putting them in the trash isn't good. Then I had a preschool board meeting. I cleaned up. Then I did a late workout. 

Roadtrip 2018 Video

Two and a half years ago we went on a roadtrip. I blogged about 1/2 the days worth. I have about 1/3 of the days worth of info into my photobook. I'm not on the ball with things.  Here is a 10 minute video to show the 27 days of the road trip. Ella really likes watching this. Liam watches it and sees how nice Ella is to Miles and then he isn't so afraid of her. 

Perler Beads (1.8.21)

 

Ella decided to make a perler bead family for Gio and his family. She even did 2 versions of Abree (baby + little girl). I was really impressed. She did these without a template or anything.

1/24/21 instastories

We went on an adventure. It took us over an hour to leave the house from when I started to get ready. Then we had to go to the super charger and that took forever.  Miles was so happy. He was excited to hike up a mountain. Hills with a stroller are hard. It was hard to push the stroller up and also hard to hold the stroller back when going downhill. We did not go to the top. The kids weren't happy.  I asked Miles to take my picture. He got his finger in every shot. We turned around at a good spot to overlook a lot.

We came home to 2 bags of hand me downs. The kids loved going through it.  After nap we used the swing set. It was cold and sprinkling. I decided to do a workout instead of cleaning up the kitchen. Poly was in my way a lot in the workout. 

1/23/21 instastories

 

Liam dropped his pop tart. He doesn't quite know how to hold a plate level.  I took Miles and Liam on my run. I didn't want to. Miles took lots of breaks. I was running faster than he's used to. He said it was the most fun day ever. He got close to birds. He was so excited.  He wore my bike helmet. He left his out in the rain and Ella's helmet won' fit his head. His head is too wide. I ditched the kids and ran 1 mile myself. It's my fastest mile since October 25, 2018. I also only even broke 11 minutes 7 time since 2018 and 5 of those times were in January of this year.   Miles got me my plate and breakfast. He said it was my day off. They ate while I was in the shower and that's just all the food that was left. 
I played with magnatiles with the kids. I wanted my tripod to take a good picture including me but cant find my tripod.  I happened to catch video of the collapse of the structure the kids worked on. 

I asked Ella to smile for a picture and Miles came in and photobombed. I turned the live picture into a boomerang to see the movement.  The kids used the swing. I took a picture from upstairs.  This corner was made for a little swing set.  Granted when we moved in, there were trees back there that the landlord cut down.  Liam eats a bagel and cream cheese in an interesting way. 

Miles keeps taking the tiny chair so then Liam has to use the big one. I got the little table for Liam since he has trouble with the chairs that are a little bit too high. 

We used the swing set again. My new planner stickers came.  I cleaned the island again!

Liam (1.8.21)

I was on a kick trying to take some portrait mode photos and Liam was on a kick of being cute. Here he is playing in his tent tunnel and also just sitting on the ground.

2021 Week 1/52 photo

Liam was helping himself to this giant container of snacks. Instead of yelling at him, I put my phone on portrait mode and tried to take a few good photos. He was so cute trying to claim the entire container for himself.

1/16/21

I don't even know if I actually posted any of these on instagram. But this is some of what we did. The goal was to get the new desk upstairs but we managed to get it inside the house at least. Liam made a mess and dumped chips out.  I went downstairs and when I came back up Liam had his legs through the spindles.  I wiped down all the drawers and got ready for the desk and Liam got into trouble. Miles and Liam liked to ride in the white car. Miles can sometimes drive well. He finally got the hang of it. But then eh did not stop and he scratched my car.  Liam liked to climb into the desk. WE drove pretty far to go to a random place for lunch. We ate it in the car.  We were on the swing when Miles pointed out a cat. That cat is not ours. We figured out how it gets in our yard.  Miles and Liam love the swing. Every loves to be on top of me when I'm at the table. 

Cleaning 1.18.21

I spent far too long cleaning far too late at night. I was so tired. I wanted to lie down. But I had to clean up this mess. 

2020 Week 33/52 photo

Marshmallows 6.3.20

 

I made a second collage unsure if I wanted horizontal or vertical. That's how much I liked these photos and the reasoning behind them. Miles wanted to eat all the marshmallows and he was so cute I said ok.

2021 Random Goals

I always make exercise goals but in 2018, 2019, and 2020. I made some random goals which is more like non exercise related goals. I'm going to do that again this year. I hope I do better than I did every other year though.

In 2021:

1. 283 blog posts with a reach goal of 300. 
• 283 is the number I posted in 2020. I have so many things I didn't post about that I wanted to. I started posting shorter posts with just 1 picture so I might have 2-3 posts for 1 day if we do a few things. 
2. 2021 Photo of the week blog posts
• These can be late but continue with it. 
• Also do the 7 missing 2019 posts
• And do the 20 missing 2020 posts
3. Two year update for Liam on Blog
4. 1 Second Everyday. 
• Update 2018 to add 2 videos versus the old way where they only allowed 1 
• Finish 2020 - November and December 
• Do 2021
5. Complete 4 photo books!
• I'm working on a lot (Pregnancy with Liam, Miles's first year, South Bay Moms Group, road trip) and then I plan to start new ones. I also always do the LACP yearbook
6. Read a book
7. Use to-do list planner.
• Document workouts in the calendar
8. Finish watching 2b Mindset videos.
• I didn't watch any in 2019 or 2020!
9. Do productivity bootcamp
• I started it and it has been so helpful so far.
10. Update and Unpause Chatbooks to get them printed

I'll keep my same reach goals in 2020 that I had in 2019. I didn't make either of them.

Chef Miles is making pancakes again. We don't make them as much as he wants to.

Liam (9.18.20)

These pictures are in reverse order. Blogger keeps adding pictures in reverse order and it's supper annoying to fix them.  I randomly think about how I should take pictures with my good camera because they come out so good if I manage some settings right. I often want pictures with the good camera and never do it. So I did it. Here is Liam wanting to go outside.

Liam was exploring his book shelf. He likes to make a big mess of the books. But he did find 2 of the same books.  He just looks so little reaching for books.

Legos 8.7.20

I go through phases trying to set up my phone to get pictures of how I actually play with the kids. Here I was getting some of those photos. Liam and I played legos together. Liam worked hard on a tall tower.  I also like when I make these collages the day they happen. I love seeing them later.

2020 Week 38/52 photo

Ella and Aurelia ended up being at preschool at the same time for pick-up. They gave each other hugs from a distance. Covid-19 is so weird. It's also so weird that 6 year olds did this without prompting.  There were so many good pictures this week but the one showing how kids react to covid is my favorite. Ella is holding her mask. She was initially staying in the car so had the mask handy. She put her mask on just after these photos even though she stayed 6 ft apart. They even talked about how they had to stay 6 feet apart.

1/8/21 instastories

I didn't take pictures or videos right away after waking up. My first video was of Liam nicely playing with Legos. I tried to workout when Dave was on a walk with Liam but I didn't even get to start until after he was back. Liam walks in the room and immediately turns on the fan. He did a lot of working out. He was mad that he only had one dumbell when he was supposed to use 2. He turned off the power strip a lot so it turned off the fan and ring light.  He was cute on the yoga mat at the end. He found my energize and started to drink it.

Miles wanted a snack then got so cute with it. Well at first he started eating cheetos on his own. I don't have pictures of that but then he was eating party mix. I got good pics of that.  After lunch Liam seemed tired. Then when I said it was naptime he went and hid in his tent.  Liam napped quickly and then I scanned all my Christmas cards. (Now I have 2019 and 2020 scanned and in google photos albums.)  

Ella spent her recess, lunch, and after school making perler beads of Gio's family. I'm impressed.  I was about to do more stuff and then Liam woke up. When Ella gets Liam out of the crib, it seems to be the only time he willingly hugs her.  I told Ella to work on Zern and Liam used her laptop.

Cooking dinner was so hard. Liam was getting into everything and also getting awfully close to the hot stove. 

My Flex Bet has people dropping so I'm up to 6.64 and it's only week 5 of 6. (I'm in another one ending in a couple days that is only making 4.48 so far. 

I was low on steps so I went for another run. It was a warmer 49 degree run.  My shins are definitely hurting. I specifically did intervals today to compare my pace. It was basically the same as the last few days where I ran straight through. (Basically the same. The distances came out slightly different even though I ran the same route so it's not 100% comparison. I actually edited the distance since it ended .07 shorter than the last week so I made it a little closer to the distance it has been.

I noticed Garmin has records and mine are from so long ago!

Miles came out of his room up and so wide awake. Then later came to my room again. I had trouble sleeping. Then Liam woke up. I was up until 2 because of the kids. 

I did my 2020 top 9 so then I shared my old ones too. I like that the new one shows how many likes you got.  I wish they did it on facebook and not just instagram.

1/7/20 instastories

Liam brought me water bottles. He was thirsty. Liam and Miles just climbed up on the chair beside each other. Liam loves to push the button on the back of the clock to play the songs.  I tried to just write my workouts but then it was just too boring without the shoe stickers I have used the last few months so I used them. Much better. I did a poll of should I buy more but I never looked at the results. 

Liam was whining and I tried to find him. Here he was on the counter. Liam keeps ducking to hide from having his picture taken. Then he runs away.   Liam opened his last Christmas present. He likes it. 

I screen recorded a polo that showed Liam dumping water on the floor. Liam used the chair to climb up and steal Ella's Pop-Tart. Liam kept throwing things on the ground.  Liam got all Poly's treats and food on the floor.  (This isn't even all the not fun stuff he did.    Liam went to his room and got on his chair himself to read. 

I added a column for my overall pace for my baseline runs.  Liam got a controller and was pretending to play.   I worked on a puzzle. I ran. 

1/6/21

Liam pulled the sticker label off my deodorant but then tried to put it back. Liam tried to use his ipad while I helped Ella with school. It's like after the long break she forgot how to work and do asynchronous day. Liam got into the glitter glue when I was working with Ella. He opened the plastic container and then opened the glue lid too.

Liam shared his pirate booty with  Miles so nicely when Miles asked. Liam tried to give Poly a cat toy and just leaned over her while she rested. I was surprised she didn't get up and leave. 

Then the day turned to insane. Protested broke into the Capitol building. It was insane.  Police didn't do much. They weren't there. I took a few screen shots so I remember. I watched or listened to the news ALL day. I worked on a puzzle while listening.   It's going to be a huge day in history. I can't believe only 5 people lost their life (and one tasered himself and had a heart attack and that's how he died. 

Liam actually napped well. 

Liam likes to workout. He also pulls down his pants and likes to sit on the potty. He doesn't take off his diaper but even when I do, he does not pee.

I went for a very late run.

2020 Week 32/52 photo

 

I like Liam's eyes here. Also I like seeing his teeth. It's also fun to notice his soaked bib because he drools so much.

Laundry 8.8.20

Liam is a little helper. I propped my phone to get some pictures of how he helps me.  I mean sometimes his helping means it takes a lot longer to do but it is still cute.  

2020 Week 27/52 photo

Miles was jumping from the ottoman to the bed. The picture is a bit blurry but that makes it even cooler. I think Miles said he was soaring.

Jumping 8.5.20

The kids love jumping from the dresser onto the bed. I started to take video and then screen shot it later. You can see the date stamp in the screen shot at the top of the one picture.

2020 Week 26/52 photo

Beading 6.17.20

We used this chip clip to hold the strand so beads don't fall off the end. But then Ella decided to be silly with it.

Here I was trying to make my bracelet while holding Liam. It's tough to do.

 

This is a photo of the new bracelet I made using pink paper as a background. Ella sure knows how to make it look amazing. You should have seen it just sitting on the table. It looked boring. 

Here is a photo showing how the chip clip holds the string. The beads don' fall off. This genius idea was Miles's and without it, Ella probably wouldn't enjoy beading so much. (This is a bracelet Miles is starting.)
