Workout Thursday

Thursday is always my busiest day at work so why not make it my busiest workout day too.  I can lift before work or after work. i can run at lunch or after work. Except I can't run at lunch because I had a meeting that went until 12 and one that started at 1.  So Body Pump in the morning it was. Wow is it hard to get out of bed to get to pump by 6:30.  I was a few minutes late again.  But it sure is nice to have your workout done if you do that on a day you don't have to lift and run.   I decided for sure I was going to do the running and lifting because I hadn't followed my training plan since April 4.

Body Pump until 7:30 so I got to my cube at 8:05. I planned to do my PFP. That did not happen.  I was super busy. I had a high protein cereal bar (the  last 10g of protein ones).
 Then it was lunch time. I had a lot of good leftovers. I couldn't even get to them all.  While I was taking a picture of my lunch I figured I might as well show my messy desk.

 I failed at eating all my lunch so I packed it back up and put it in the refrigerator to eat Friday.
 Then I got out of a meeting at 3 and there was leftover food from something. I made a sandwich. I ate half and added the other half to my lunch for Friday.

I ran 3 loops. I ran them in 54 minutes.  Last time it took a few seconds over 50 minutes. I had over a 10 min/mile pace. It was awful. My shins hurt.  Hopefully my next run is better.   I looked so very red. It was worse than normal.  The picture doesn't do it justice since the sun was behind me, it threw off the lighting. 
 A good 40 minutes after I was done running, my face was still red.

Dave was working on his project and didn't want to stop so we didn't start dinner yet.   I even had time for a shower.  But this all made me lightheaded since 3 meals doesn't cut it for exercising twice.  I would have been fine if I ate on-time.   We made chicken. Dave wanted sandwiches. I brought buns, lettuce, and tomato home from the leftover stuff at work.   I just had my chicken plain. But I made vegetables. broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots with cheese. It was a green giant vegetable thing and the first time I had that kind.

Well I brought my PFP stuff home to work on since I didn't get to it at work.  But since I was lightheaded eating took way longer than normal and I needed to rest.  Finally at 9 I get out my laptop. Well it is it's normal messed up self. 20 minutes later I finally get in.   I typed stuff for about an hour but only did about half.  I was on the computer longer but there were short breaks of just resting and not working on my PFP.
I was so tired, I then went to sleep. But by the time I got things situated for bed it was about 11pm.


Pretty soon it will be light enough to run in the mornings.  Also my shins hurt while running. Perhaps I'm not doing the theraband exercises enough.  Perhaps it's nothing and It's all in my head.  I always fear every problem is all in my head and it's nothing and i'm a big baby.  Well I thought that with my jaw, and it was so bad that I was out of the scope of the one specialist.   I thought that with my knee and ended up with surgery.
